Watching the woman he picked launch herself to the Serpent made him laugh as that was very clever. Continuing to ride along side the beast he took 10 kinetic harpoons and slammed the breaks and flung himself using the momentum and drew his blade mid air and plunged his sword into the area where the under belly met the back, His sword after being forced in there pierced the underbelly just enough to give him something to hang on to so he could climb. Getting his balance he withdrew his sword and started stabbing the harpoons into the back of the beast and using them like posts each harpoon piercing the back of the beast and exploding, 5 harpoons were used. Now at stable ground he plunged the remaining kinetic harpoons into a circle an backed up.
Beep, Beep, Beep BOOM...
As the harpoons went boom, a chunk of scale was blown off revealing a nice little soft spot. Making the best of this new chink in the beast's armor Adam began to viciously stab into the monster, letting out a satisfied war cry as he continuously stabbed into the beast and twisting the blade a bit each time as he stabbed. Pulling his blade out he pulled the lever on his prosthetic arm and blasting a Cannon ball into the hole he created by stabbing the bastard and blowing off a chunk of scale.

Lily had slashed in the same spot for some time, clearing the area of the scales almost entirely, but it was a small area, and this was a very big snake. She had let her instincts kick in, which was not the right way to win this fight.
The others were starting to join in the fray now. Which was good. She had for a split moment worried that she would be the only one to assault this snake, and while she would not back down, she did not want to die here. This city was very large. She had no idea how many people must have lived here, but if the Hunters and Huntresses who'd saved her had gone out of their way for one little girl who was about to die, she had to do everything she could for so many. She channeled her aura into her claws again, and began using the force of each jab into the snake to not only shatter scales, but to also climb. It would take her a while, and the occasional swift movement of the head would slow her down, but her goal was to reach the top of this snake and blind the beast. She knew that this was only one head, but from that high vantage point, she could at least use her speed semblance to make the jump to another head with relative certainty. She moved like a bullet. As she climbed, she took care to strike her claws into areas where the scales were coming together. Seeking to damage the structure of as many scales as she could with each thrust of her hand. She didn't know if it would do much, but the possibility was there that those assisting her in this fight would be able to use the damaged trail that she was leaving behind her to accomplish something. Another thing she took care to do, was to angle herself during her climb towards another snake head. If something were to happen to this one, say a nasty slash attack, she would want to be able to leap from this head and strike at the next without missing a beat. She had no clue how numerous or powerful her allies were, but she was sure that at least a few of them would dwarf her own strength. All she could do now was her own part. She was losing herself thinking about all of the people who might be dying right now, how even if she managed to kill this thing, even the weight of the body falling would likely kill many others. She was growing angrier and angrier, which was making her bestial nature harder to reign in. A fact that was all too apparent when she realized she'd buried her claw up to the elbow in the snake's neck. She pulled hard to tug her hand back out, and resumed her climb growing ever nearer to the head of this gigantic monster.

Post by Ferr Aesir on Aug 28, 2016 21:16:47 GMT -6
Ferr emitted a light blush when Eve gave the Huntsmen a smile and wink. Ferr's eyes aimed closer to the ground as he went on his way into the city. The man was never good when it came to women, however he supposed her gestures were only meant to be between allies and Hunters. Nothing more or less. That didn't stop his mind from wondering into a multitude of scenarios. If he were to be honest Eve wasn't bad looking. Plus she had to be good with young people and kids. Right? It was part of her job after all. That was assuming she was a full-time faculty member at Vytal. All very good traits for a woman. And she couldn't be that much older than himself, if she was at all. These ideas prepared Ferr for a trip down the path of thought. However the Huntsman denied going down that path.
As he rushed through the city, Ferr could see his bullets were doing little to nothing. Bouncing off the King of Snakes, the metal pellets fell back to the earth. Sighing, Ferr hostelers his gun before taking Gungnir back in hand. Running at full speed intended to pause and run into an upcoming alleyway. Said alleyway appeared to lead Ferr directly towards the giant serpent. With a smirk, Ferr was excited to join in the up-close fight. Perhaps this would be the chance. His time to shine and finally be seen in battle. The invasion on Rift was lackluster for him. Ferr went on a rampage for short while back then. Needless rage clouded his judgement and prevented him from getting to the Royal distract. His hands never even held a blade against a valuable opponent. This time was going to be different! Right?
As Ferr was preparing to slid to a stop and bolt down the pathway the moans of people caught his attention. As he neared the fork his eyes landed upon a pair of limping citizens. It was now clear that some debris was flying around and hurting people. Movement turned Ferr's attention upward were a scale from the monster was. It came flying towards the pair of Setek natives. For Ferr this was not a decisive moment. To others, perhaps it would be. Go in for the kill and back-up his comrades. Or keep running to and prevent two people from dying. To the warrior the choice was as clear as day. Re-sheathing Gungir, Ferr began running faster to reach the pair in time. Activating the Ice dust in his shield, Ferr crafted a thicker lair for protecting. "Lower ya'r heads!" He shouted before he stopped and braced for impact. The two faunus stopped and crouched down in fear as they saw the debris from the battle.
The impact was hard, causing Ferr to drop to one knee. It was heavy, but his shield withstood the blow. "Alright. Move as fast as you can to the outer wall. Survive and thrive. Please!" With an honest-to-god request following his order, Ferr stood back up after his aura recovered from the blow. Though this had the man thinking. Who else is getting caught in the battle? After witnessing the pair obey his request, Ferr began to run around the combat zone. As the fighting began to intensify, Ferr found more citizens caught in rubble. Most were able to get away after some assistance. The amount of people caught up were terrifying, and Ferr was growing exhausted as he ran around lifting broken walls, and stopping more from falling onto others.
Finally, Ferr sensed the area was clear. He was feeling out of it, and the knight's body was glistening with sweat. Not to mention his aura was being siphoned off thanks to Ferr using Aura Defense to better his chances of surviving. His need for rest was extreme. He'd be asleep for two days after this mission. As fast as he could-- which was less than a jog at this point-- Ferr made his way towards the Serpent. Before he got too close, his tired eyes caught the sight of more citizens. This time within spitting distance of the battle. Glancing back at the Grimm, Ferr witnessed one of it's many heads began to enter a frenzy. It caught a whiff of the people down below-- now aiming for them with it's hellish maw.
Biting his lips and thinking of a silent prayer Ferr dashed with the remainder of his strength. Ferr activated Wise Eyes once again which drained more aura. Most of what he had left was now gone. As the semblance took effect, time seemed to slow down as his mind kicked into overdrive. Quickly taking hold of his sword, Ferr quickly began his weapons transformation. With the guard inverting and the handle extending, Gungnir's true from appeared.
As the beast drew closer the blade drew closer to becoming a spear. Filled with Dust. As the hydra-like head neared the meekly people, Ferr tossed the weapon towards the appendage. Upon leaving his hand, the spear became coated in fire and wind dust. Shortly producing lightning. Upon impact Gungnir's lightning coat caused an obvious amount of damage against the Grimm. Though not enough to pierce the armor, it did manage to turn the beast's jaws away from the civilians for the moment. Before the weapon could fall and hit the earth, Ferr caught it and then stood before the group of several innocents. Panting, he struggled to form his words properly. "Please. Run while you can! This is a place of death now. Perhaps my own." Ferr had overexerted himself and was now more vulnerable than he'd ever been before.
Aura: 100/350 Ice: x3 Fire: x3 Wind: x2 Side Pistol: X 30 bullets
OCC: TL;DR - Ferr goes around saving people from debris and destruction. Gets drained. Using big attack on Grimm w/ weapons true form. More drained.

Dusty looked at Mizumi and nodded, still smirking confidently. "Don't worry. I'll be able to handle it," he said. "I think the ever present threat of death will provide a decent distraction." He chuckled as he felt Mizumi synching up with him. Instantly, he felt his strength increase and could see his aura shift from yellow to green. He forced the emotional feedback that came through the connection, steeling his nerves as he looked up at the giant snake again. He took another glance around at the weather. Not enough sunlight, not enough shadows. He would have to do this the old fashioned way, but at least he had a few allies to fight with.
Dusty punched a few buttons on his bracer, setting up a few Earth arrows and a few Kinetic ones before sprinting up to a building and scrambling up the side. It was easier this time with his Mizumi-enhanced strength, practically throwing himself up the wall before leaping onto the roof top. He began running again, leaping across the roof tops until he got close enough to the snake to pull his back up plan off. Dusty drew an Earth arrow and fired it towards the ground a little ways in front of him before leaping off the building. A pillar of stone shot up out of the ground, shooting Dusty up into an even higher jump with its momentum. He fired a second arrow, closer to the snake, and repeated the process. Two more pillars and Dusty found himself high enough in the air to be even with the monstrous Grimm's neck. As he reached the crest of his jump's arc, he drew two more arrows, both filled with Kinetic liquid Dust, and broke the heads over his bracers. The purple liquid splashed over his forearms as he pulled Daybreaker apart into Ardu and Leagtha. He flipped the knives around and held them back as he fell towards the snake's body. Right before he slammed into the Grimm's side, he swung his knives forward, their speed even faster than before due to his enhanced strength and Dust covered forearms. Dusty grunted as he crashed into the snake and his knives sank into the armor. He shook his head to clear it and looked up at the snake's head far above.
"Well, that went better than expected," the young man said to himself as he pulled Ardu out of the snake's armor and stabbed it up higher, then following it with Leagtha. Slowly, he climbed up and up until he was able to roll over onto the snake's massive back. He looked up one of the beast's necks, ideas tossing around in his mind. He could try digging into one of the thing's skulls and blowing each head from the inside out. Or possibly get it to attack itself in some way if he proved enough of an annoyance. "Build 'em up, break 'em down," he mumbled to himself before beginning the climb up the monster's neck.

The answer to his question seemed to be obvious: Stand and fight. What else did he expect, he was in with a group of hunters, fighting was all that they knew how to do, aside from occasionally acting as diplomats. Chrohn however, had skills other than fighting, such as planting, and running, and running away from fights that seemed potentially hopeless. However, he wouldn't be doing the latter this time, that's what the scarf was for. It was to serve as a reminder of what carelessness could do, and running was careless for the most part.
After the fight or flight response had finally decided on it's course of action, Chrohn ran about, helping people get out of various parts of the city nearby as he thought. I don't really wanna get in the way of everyone else, what with their... His attention was distracted by the explosion of the harpoons. Yeah, that's what I was thinking of, explosive pew pews. Of the many things that is on my agenda of things to do today, getting shot by friendlies is not one of them.
After another moment of staring off into space, and witnessing piecing blue eyes from the shadows nearby, Chrohn had been struck with an intense wave of deja vu that had managed to stagger him. After a second, when he managed to focus back on the situation, the eyes were gone. "Weird....anywaaaaay. Giant snake at hand, gotta work on that problem." And then he thought back to Eve's words again, this time, instead of feeling whipped, Chrohn felt the joy of a problem finally clicking. "Eagles never look to see what's above them" and then he took to his board, with Lucky 7 in hand. Chrohn was well aware that the people seemed to be fairing well enough against the hydra, and he was aware of the fact that he wasn't a hero that they all needed, but he still felt the need to help.
The ride up was quick, due to the maximum repulsion and thruster output. It was also eventless, save for what his allies were doing in the background. At this altitude, he was easily but a mere spec in the sky, probably mistaken for a bird, or something else of the sort.
From here, Chrohn could see all of the battle, albeit, the people themselves were specs, but their attacks weren't. It was in the sky that he loaded up the sword with chips. What combo? He'd have yet to see. After a few commands, input through the various pressure plates, he set the board into a hovering descent, and jumped. That was it. That was his plan. Jumping from hundreds, if not thousands of feet up in the air, and banking it all on him landing on the giant snake. Except there was one thing. Chrohn had an unused Impact Dampener strapped to his arm.
The flight down was the most fun Chrohn had managed to have in ages, but regrettedly, he hadn't let out any hooping or hollering. It was like this for a good solid ten seconds or so as he rapidly approached the ground faster and faster. In a sing songy voice he said," I really hope that this doesn't jam, otherwise I'll become Chrohn flavored jam."
And as he approached the snake, he started to twirl, adding even more momentum to his attack, and then he pulled the lever. It was something that he'd never personally seen before, but what ended up coming out of his sword was something terrifyingly beautiful. It was wonder of the Triple 7s, this one being of the Red Dust variety. A blood red beam that left trails of flames is what his sword became if only for a few moments, and it was during these few moments, that Chrohn was positive he'd cleaved through the snake. Not in it's entirety, hell he didn't even know if his stunt did anything to the damned reptile, but the contact between the two was apparent, as it managed to slow his descent by large amount and drastically change his angle of trajectory. And it was only before he ended up crashing through a wall that he'd managed to activate the impact dampener. It worked, luckily, but Chrohn was winded and his right arm felt funny.

Post by Mizumi Tai on Aug 30, 2016 4:46:42 GMT -6
Mizumi's heart thrummed in her chest as she charged the Taijitu behind Dusty. Where he began climbing the beast, Mizumi charged at the thing's feet, Blowback ready to slam into it. She felt her feet move faster underneath her, could feel her muscles twitching in anticipation to react to whatever arrived, due to the effects of Synchronize. She slammed her hammer into its leg with all her strength, but instead of feeling the bone cave under her weapon like she was used to, the impact sent vibrations through the hammer and into Mizumi's arms as the Grimm almost didn't seem to notice the blow. She didn't use her aura to dampen the force, knowing she could take it and feeling terrible that the recoil from her mistake would be transmitting over her semblance to Dusty. If she used her aura it was quite likely it would pull from his as well, so she grit her teeth and pulled back to do another strike, this time with the knowledge that she wouldn't be able to just push through it. Blowback slammed into the leg with slightly less force, still doing little more than a bump. So Mizumi swung again, and again, and again. She moved with the Grimm all the while, stepping through the city in the creature's shadow, or lack thereof with the sandstorm raging around her. Coarse grains battered her skin as she moved, obscuring her vision and making everything just a little bit more painful. Synchronize pulsed, draining both hers and Dusty's auras as it did so, and she yelled a, rather unintimidating battle cry, and swung Blowback even harder than before. The crystals within it glowed brightly, humming as the kinetic charge within it was expelled in a massive increase to the force of her blow. Her hammer blurred with the speed, smashing into the side of the creature with an immense amount of force. Aisio Pendragon Aisio laughed when Amber hopped on the man's motorcycle and sped off, firing bolts into the creature. "Well if she wants to fight the thing, I suppose the best way to protect her would be to kill it sooner." She raised her wings behind her, flapping into the air and speeding towards the Taijitu. That's when she heard a voice in the wind, merely a whisper but as loud as someone screaming in her ear. “Aisio, meet me outside the city wall after the Taijitu is defeated." The crimson haired huntress staggered in flight, dipping towards the ground for a moment before regaining her altitude of three yards. She looked around frantically but found nothing that could be the source of the voice, she even pulled out her scroll and checked it. But there was nothing, not a single thing that could be the source of this mysterious voice. Aisio didn't have enough time to fully debate though, as she was quickly approaching the monster before her. She flew past Chrohn as he ascended on his hoverboard, deftly slipping around him midair, and hovered for a few moments at its upper leg. "The sooner I take this thing out, the quicker I can have all my questions answered, both new and old." She muttered to herself, and began ascending rapidly, her wings flapping quickly as she rose. The edges began to burn slightly as she got to its torso, but she kept going. They continued to burn away, and by the time she reached the heads only the smallest fragment of her wings remained, and so she flew a little higher, turned in the air to prepare herself to drop, and felt the fiery wings upon her back sizzle away. They dissolved into embers behind her, and for the few moments her momentum kept her moving upwards she readied Excalibur. Her crimson aura shimmered around her and enveloped the blade, growing it and increasing its power, and flames flowed onto the blade shortly after. Then she began to fall, streaking towards one of the center heads of the terrifying Grimm. Excalibur was gripped in both hands, pointed downward and ready to plunge into its target with all the force of gravity, at least what could be contributed by a few feet of falling. Aisio's crimson eyes glowed through the sandstorm, her crackling red aura whipping in the wind and roaring around her, fiery hair being batted around by the gale. She landed upon a head, and as she did so she plunged Excalibur downward as hard as she could, the primal roar she released being drowned out by the sounds of destruction all around her. It was only a matter of time before this thing went down, the question was how fast could they bring it down, and more importantly how many people would it kill before they did? Ash sighed and shook his head as Aisio began flying up the beast, a light chuckle following shortly after. He just couldn't keep that girl down, no matter how hard he tried. He redirected his focus to the task at hand, blades shooting from his vambraces and greaves as he prepared for combat, a confident smirk upon his face and a knowing glint within his eyes. He clutched his pendant, the red sword of the Pendragon crest glowing within his palm as he called upon his semblance to take on the aspect of its element. "Furious as a blaze." His words were followed by the heat around him growing more intense, a small amount of fire bursting around him. His muscles bulked up slightly and his steps became quicker. The knowing look he held turned vicious and angry, and he bellowed out a challenge as he charged the beast. "Your head will be another trophy for my wall!" He looked at the beast he was glowering at and cocked his own head. "Rather, heads. Your heads will be another trophy for my wall."Ash shrugged and struck, hitting a leg opposite Mizumi. He swung out his arms and sliced the blades along its armor, utilizing his leg blades to cut at it whenever he moved forward. Each strike was accompanied by a slight crackle of flame, and they hit far harder than his normal hits did. He swung and swung without any care but taking down his target, tearing into its leg with a flurry of bladed attacks from his limbs. While Ash looked old, and was old, he still fought with incredible training and experience. It was clear his physique wasn't as perfect as it once was, he was moving a little sluggishly and while his strikes were powerful, in his youth they would've been far more devastating. Even still, he was clearly a force to be reckoned with as he continued to attack the Taijitu with all his effort and focus. Combat Notes: Mizumi:Aura: 109/150 Charge Value: 15/200 5AP from Mizumi for Synchronize, 5AP from Dusty for Synchronize Aisio and Ash:Aisio Aura: 343/400 Wing Duration: Inactive: 30 second cooldown Crystal Chamber Uses: 19/20 Ash Aura: 1125/1200

Post by Amber Sablier on Aug 30, 2016 8:02:52 GMT -6
Explosions from all around, the result of many attacks against the massive creature, rocked the beast as Amber fought to keep her grip on her Aura Spear. The attacks were landing in the same general area, causing one of the Taijitu’s many heads to reel back and screech loudly. It was earsplitting, blowing out windows in the city streets below. One of her three swords shot towards the head of the snake, with Amber activating her Eisenheim’s Jump immediately after. The essence of her soul - her bright blue Aura - trailed after the sword before it slammed into the lower jaw of the monster at high speed. The force, coupled with the attacks of her new allies, forced the gargantuan Grimm to rock its head. Amber tried using this momentum to her advantage, hoisting herself into the air to be eye-level with the serpent. Its fiery eye gazed at her, sending a chill through her body as if it had penetrated her very soul. Something about it felt…off? She couldn’t afford to dwell on such odd feelings, however, and she prepared herself for attack. Eisenheim’s Arsenal kept her somewhat hovering in the air as the four weapons manifested together, aiming directly at the eye of the snake. Timing was everything. If this was going to work, it had to be done right. Adam’s harpoon explosions seemed to do some of the most damage, causing all the heads of the Taijitu Nagara to writhe in unimaginable pain as a massive portion of its armor-like scales was blown away, followed by the large man attacking the newly exposed point. As if distracted by the pain, the head of the snake that most of the attacks had landed on appeared unable to escape the onslaught that followed - not that it would have been possible to anyway, given its size. Ferr’s weapon knocked the head up and to the side, lining up perfectly for Amber’s attack. With an almost devious grin, she threw her arms forward, sending the hardened Aura weapons directly into the snake’s eye. Everyone else proved just as effective. From directly damaging the snake as much as possible, to wearing down its scaled armor, each and every attack met its mark and did its own good. Eve had remained on the ground, striking with Skorpio every chance she got. Lily utilized her claws and her speed to strike at the snake, and while potentially the least armed against the creature, still managed to do enough to assist the group. Dusty’s attack, utilizing Dust and quick thinking, helped him to get the jump on the creature. That said, all of these things considered only contributed to the killing blow - a combination of Mizumi and Chrohn’s attacks. Like a red blaze, Chrohn shot through the black scales of the snake - in from one end and out the other. The Taijitu shook its neck violently, sending those attached to it flying into the air. Their grips to the surface of the creature would not save them that day. Mizumi’s attack quickly followed, striking the side of the beast with a heavy blow. The structure of the beasts neck finally gave way, causing an odd behavior in the snake as the wounded head stretched towards the sky. Its eyes glowed almost as bright as the sun as several cracks ran from the base of the neck to its snout. These cracks also began to glow, albeit not as bright. In a sudden flash, the neck that had taken the force of the attacks exploded, sending a noxious ooze spraying over the city. Using that distraction to its advantage, the snake burrowed into the earth, the pit closing as the sand sunk down behind it. Amber flew through the air as the result of the blast, covered slightly in the gross goop. Her eyes narrowed as they focused on someone on the ground, who she was flying straight towards. Reaching towards him, she let out an almost panicked laugh. “Hey, I’m comin’ right for ya!” She shouted. “Please catch me, kay?”In the distance, the hooded man grinned at the aftermath. This was exactly as he expected from these younger Hunters, even when considering the snake was but a juvenile. He would have to put a little more consideration into his plans from here on out. Turning his back, he made is way out of the city, standing among the twisted wind and the sand it kicked up as he waited. Phase one of his plan had only just begun.
Last round, guys! \o^o/ Also, Ferr Aesir , Amber is flying at you

Post by Ferr Aesir on Aug 30, 2016 10:13:40 GMT -6
The deed had been finally done. Ferr expressed his satisfaction when the snake began to crackle. The number of impressive, albeit flashy, attacks finally managed to seemingly kill it. Ferr took a knee before transforming his spear back into it's base sword form. Sheathing the blade, Ferr looked out to the Vytal students with pride. Perhaps he was wrong about them at the start. When following them he felt negatively about their visible behavior and traits. This experience has proven Ferr wrong however. They all seem to be capable of great things. "The world is in good-" His words were slapped out his throat at the sight of the cracked neck.
As the nasty ooze shot up into the air and over the city Ferr used his shield to block the foreign and alien substance. It smelled too foul for his vocabulary to describe without sounded like an idiot. In haste, Ferr tossed down his shield before watching the snake's tail enter the earth. As sand filled in the escape route, the knight sucked his teeth and glared at the now empty air. If they had dealt out a few more blows, perhaps the Taiji would have been killed. Lifting up the collar of his undershirt, Ferr attempted to mask his face from the noxious odor which originated from the ooze. "Perhaps some researches could use this stuff?" He knew that remnants of Grimm normally disappear. But this was lingering. It was interesting for lack of a better word.
"Hey, I'm comin' right for ya!" The words snapped Ferr out of his thought and his eyes widened in almost a comical fashion. The princess was coming right for him! The man danced around in a panic for a short moment. His hands running around the air and through his hair. He looked around for something to aid in softening her landing but his frantic mind pieced nothing together. As she bolted through the air and was about to reach him, Ferr stopped and swallowed what little spit he had. Stomping his feet and opening his arms, Ferr reached for the woman with a nervous smile. "I got you! Princess Amberle-oof!"
The woman's body slid into Ferr's arm with great force-- knocking out some air out of his lungs. "God save the Queen. And me." He muttered to himself in a wheeze. The knight rocked backwards and landed on a pile of ruble with Amber atop of him. Though he was sure she was fine, Ferr attempted to hastily remove the odd substance off of the woman's body. It was an unknown product of the Grimm. Still dangerous even if it seemed harmless. After a moment Ferr lifted Amber up and held her like the princess she was. Clearing his throat Ferr spoke with a mild blush hidden behind his newly earned bruises. "Princes Amber Sablier. I am Odin Ferr Aesir. Leader of the Aesir Clan. And I will be taking you home to your mother in Rift. That is-- if you got all your fight out of you." He offered a smile. "Didn't know a Princess could fight like that. Please let me know if you ever need a sparing partner. I'd love to take the position."

Lily felt her attacks were not accomplishing much. She grew ever closer to the head of the snake they were assaulting, but before she made it to the top, an explosion ripped through the flesh of the snake, covered her in sludge, and sent her flying.
She had no time to process these facts as she fell to the earth. She barely had enough time to throw up her defensive aura and dampen the impact. She followed a fairly similar trajectory that the Princess had taken, but instead of being caught, she slammed into a nearby building. She left a pretty sizable crack in the building itself. She hit her head pretty hard, but she had activated her defense aura so it should be alright.
A few moments after impact, as she tried to extricate herself from the side of the building which now had a nice Lily shaped indent in it's side, she fell forward and landed face down in the sand. "I'm here to rescue you princes.." she said, her words muffled and hard to hear from her facedown position.
She tried to push herself up, and managed to assume a sitting position. The entire front of her body was totally coated in the sludge, which was itself, coated in a fresh layer of sand. She felt inordinately tired, and wanted to sleep, but was more concerned about the sludge in her ears. She pawed at the cat ears trying to remove as much of the sludge and sand as she could. An effort that seemed to be going nowhere as her hands were also coated in the nasty Grimm sludge.
She realized that she hadn't really taken stock of the situation yet, and snapped out of her own little bubble. She'd only noticed that she and the princess were falling in similar directions, nothing beyond that. She wasn't totally sure that the princess was even nearby. Upon further inspection though, she noticed the princess being held by a man. The same man she'd stealthily hitched a ride here with. She sighed in relief.
"Good, for a second I thought I might need to fight someone else to save her. You're on the right side though yeah?" She said to Ferr, who was about fifteen meters away holding the princess. She continued to look around. The area was absolutely covered in sludge, except for a cone behind Ferr, whose shield was covered, but his skin seemed to be void of the nasty substance. The city around them had seen better days. Building far less intact than the one she'd slammed into, rubble and debris strewn about and coated in sludge, and the occasional body that no one had been quick enough to save. She wondered how high the death toll of this event would be. She wondered how many people would no longer have a place to call home. She wondered if this black sludge was harmful. A worry that started to eat at her. She dipped her hands in sand and began rubbing the gritty slimy heterogeneous mixture off of her skin. Once her hands were passably clean, she continued to scoop up clean sand and drop it onto the mixture, letting the gritty sand adhere to the mixture first before scooping it off of herself.

Chrohn was still dazed and winded as parts of the snake seemed to explode all over the city. He was, however, under a solid roof, and several meters into the building his crashed into, so he was mostly free from the gunk save for what little might have splashed on him as he seemingly tore through the giant grimm. His mind wasn't really on that topic right now, but it was in the back of his mind. They had won, and hopefully saved the town for the most part.
The slot machine's user was more so focused on his arm. It was still there and in one piece for the most part, but it sure didn't feel that way. "Yay first aid!" he cried with a sigh of disappointment. Yeah, sure he had his aura, but his aura could only do so much when it came to healing.
To start with the first aid, he felt around his arm for tender spots, being careful to only apply light pressure so as not to trigger a false reaction. Here he went over his arm for a few moments, going over it several times to make sure the tender spots were unmoving. "Whelp, fuck me!" he sighed. From his immediate battlefield diagnosis, which likely had some flaws as he was a student practicing field medicine, his forearm seemed to be either fractured or broken, while his elbow and shoulder were dislocated. "How the fuck did I manage this?" It took another moment before it all set in. His aura could only cover so much from his little stunt, and this is what made it through. After all that momentum behind the sword slash, hitting the snake itself, which probably caused some of said damage, along with crashing into a building, "Hey guys, remind me not to do that again, please,," he said into the earpiece.
Aaaaand with my arm like this, I can't pop shit back into place. Woooooo. As this was thought, Chrohn had started walking out of the building he had been sent flying into, twirling the index finger of his left hand as he did so. Chrohn didn't get far before hauling it back inside of the building. Shit, forgot mah sword, and buckled that up as he called the hoverboard to his location via his scroll, which had been set to a local mode specialized only to register preset, wireless communications, namely, a recall function on the hoverboard. It's not terribly handy in the battle field, but it's good for calling up said hoverboard whenever it's been left behind or Chrohn loses it.
From here, he hopped down a few steps and said with his arm hanging limply at his side, "I'd dare say this is almost over. Now we just gotta get home. So, Princess, the Vytal Evac team will be the ones taking you home, unless I'm mistaken."
