With the Cultists surrounding them, Ferr took a battle stance with his shield raised. There was no end to the uncoordinated strikes of the zealots. Ferr was granted a some relief however. The few who stayed to fight him, instead of chasing the students continued to swing at his large shield. Crouching behind it ever-so slightly, Ferr managed to keep up his defense for a time. Minor adjustments were easy thanks to the power of his semblance. Perhaps he should just stay like this until the cultists were tired. No, that wouldn't work. If this people were crazy enough to worship Grimm, they'd never stop. Taking in a deep sigh, Ferr bashed his shield against the next attack. A dagger-wielding woman aimed for Ferr's eyes, but he threw his shield into her hand, causing an opening to form. When the woman's arms were extended, exposing her chest, Ferr swung at her bowls horizontally. This caused the woman to fall to the sand-covered earth. A strike to her skull later, Ferr would turn his attention back to the group forming around him.
The knight would face two men running at him in tandem. On his left, the swordsmen would be caught by the shield. On the right, Ferr's blade would find itself embedded in the cultists chest. Right beside the heart. On command, both attackers would feel the wrath of Ferr's respective armaments. The shield froze the cultist who had ran into it, locking his body in position. While the other began to burn as fire Dust raged through the sword. The battle was turned out to be an interesting one. Yet Ferr wouldn't dare show any joy-- or feel it for that matter. He wasn't a sadist warrior like his family members. He was respectable and true.
As the black-cloaked figures encroached him, a sneak attack caught Ferr off-guard. An arrow would wisp through the night air before brushing along the man's neck. The hairs on Ferr's body would stand at attention at the sudden attack. Rarely did something like this happen-- nor did his appreciate the cowardly move. As his aura tended to the wound, Ferr caught a glimpse of some rushing the Eve down the path. The assailant ran across the roof tops with twin-daggers in hand.
What was normally an instant to others was much longer to Ferr. So when the man saw the cultist jump towards Eve, Ferr cocked his arm back and activated the ice Dust embedded into his shield. As the ice was still forming, Ferr threw his shield just above Eve's head. "Above you!" He warned her in a mighty thu'um. While distracted, his guard was down enough the arrow-shooting cultist to send a bolt into his shoulder. The surprise made Ferr jump and enraged him. Pulling out the arrow, a mild amount of blood began to leak from the knight. Spinning the bolt around, Ferr locked onto the cultist who stayed high and away from the battle. "Take it back, cur!" With a hard toss, Ferr swiped the arrow through the air and back to the cultist who ducked out the way.
Taking advantage of the moment, Ferr ran towards Eve. There was strength in numbers, and the good guys were out-numbered. Forced to literally charge through two men, the mildly tired man raised his blade and pierced the ground. If Eve stayed next to him, the pair would be safe while a gust of wind Dust raged the surrounding area. This would exhaust his supply of air Dust currently in Gungnir. "'The students advancing?" He asked in a shout, making sure she could hear through the wind and his helmet.

Lily had successfully entered the city, and was keeping to the rooftops. Chaos was erupting all around her, but she had the guise of anonymity to shroud her and keep her innocuous. She had only been at school for a few days, so hopefully anyone present wouldn't notice her. She didn't want to get in trouble for having shown up when she wasn't supposed to.
She jumped from rooftop to rooftop, looking for any signs of the princess in the streets below. When the black clad men started pouring out from buildings and alleyways to cause chaos, she was thankful that she was high above. She looked at her own black dress, and hoped that she wouldn't be mistaken for one of their number if someone were to see her up here.
Her gunmetal grey eyes scanned the city, and her ears were constatly trying to sift through the noise and the chaos for anything that could be useful to her. However, a clue came in the form of a dark orb rosing up from a street not too far from her. That was an anomaly that she was sure would give her some clue. However, the resulting quakes and the rising of the incredible snake figure sent her hairs on end.
You aren't here for that. Leave that thing to the stronger warriors present. You are here to save someone, not die fighting a creature you couldn't begin to contend with.
At least, that's what she told herself, but some part of her wanted to see how her claws would do against the behemoth creature looming over them. She shrugged that desire off though, and continued toward the source of the dark orb. She was here for a reason, and chose to stay on task. She traversed the roof tops, crossing streets by running along wires, and leaping gaps that an average citizen would never be able to traverse. She was thankful for her parents training, and the adaptability of the skills she'd been taught in the wilds.

The cries of surprise and pain coming from behind him brought a smile to Dusty's face. His arrows, at least some of them, had put off the pursuing cultists, for a few moments. The young man was looking over his shoulder as he continued his run, watching the falling cultists behind him. He wasn't paying attention to what was going on in front of him. A wild screaming drew his attention forward again, only to see a sword falling down towards his face. Dusty jerked to the side, making the blade bounce off of his cuirass and cut a deep gash into his arm and a large tear into his jacket. He grunted in pain and instinctively hit a button on his bracer. An arrow filled with Fire Dust as he pressed the release switch on Daybreaker. Leagtha fell away, leaving Ardu in his hand. He caught the the cultist's wild swinging with his knife, drawing the arrow with his free hand and shoving it into the crazed man's rib cage. The Fire Dust quickly reacted and detonated, blowing a large hole through the cultist's chest. Dusty kicked the lifeless body away and picked Leagtha back up, spitting on the body as he started running again.
"That was for Professor Rose, you Will worshiping son of a bitch," he spat as he ran. He continued his dash across the rooftops, dodging and slashing at cultists that lunged out at him as he followed the sounds of battle. He was glad he was fairly acrobatic and agile, though the random attack patterns of the cultists left him with cuts and slashes all over his body, jacket, and clothing. "God damn, these guys don't give up!" he growled as he flipped over the swinging axe of a cultist before riddling the woman's back with five quick arrow shots. He landed again and took a moment to look over the edge of the buildings. A grin broke out on his face as he spotted the princess on the ground, though it quickly shifted to a frown when he saw a large cultist crossing blades with Amber. He leapt off of the building, rolling across the ground to break his fall and tossing a Glass bottle a few feet in front of Amber's position. He came back up to his feet as a Glass wall formed between them and the hooded assailant and the man he was fighting.
"Cheers, love! The cavalry's here!" Dusty said with a silly accent as he looked over his shoulder at the princess. He winked at her before looking behind her and noticing the giant snake over the city. He frowned in annoyance as his Aura began to glow a little brighter and his wounds closed. "God dammit. Why is it always snakes?!"

He nodded, "Okay, I'm on it," as he sped off after his teammates. How come the destroyers of humanity get all the numbers, why can't I get cool shit like an army at my disposal. Chrohn pondered this thought for a moment. A Giant army, clad in armor and armed to the teeth, whose main goal was to protect Chrohn's flower kingdom from the onslaught of weeds and pests. Each knight armed with collapsible spades, weed and pest spray. I don't think I should ever be a king, he thought scratching his head as he maneuvered through the black robed crowd, slashing through some of them with ease, while pushing others into one another and tripping them up, making them victims of friendly fire.
"These people are way to close to me, I think Imma go destroy them all," Chrohn muttered in a sing-songy voice. "Hey Dust-o, the Chrohn-plated cavalry is on their way. How's it coming along." Oh dear, mid-battle distractions are bad. Chrohn ended up tripping on something. Be it a rock, or another person, a body maybe? Chrohn had no idea. All he knew was that he was winded and that his sword was nowhere to be immediately found. (It was a few feet to his left but in his panic, he missed it.) He rose and his eyes narrowed. Chrohn cracked his gloved knuckles and began to fight in a way that had been forgotten to him in many a year.
It started with a deep breath, and then the nebula started to spread around him. While the cloud was dark and occasionally sparkled with stars, his hands became enveloped with a stark red light. The fighter was calm and collected but was ready to wreak havoc. And that havoc all started with a punch, a punch that sent one of the cultists flying into a wall only to fall limp. The punch itself was sloppy but it held the remnants of technique that was once present. That fear inspiring punch gave Chrohn the room he needed to find his sword, but he didn't use it. Not now, at least. The stargazer sheathed his sword, and rushed forward, picking up a limp body from someone else's prior charge as he started.
Chrohn hadn't really noticed anything aside from a few cuts and bruises as he started, but they weren't impeding on his ability to move. With the body he picked up, Chrohn beat some of the cultists down with their friend's limp body in a somewhat brutal display of physical prowess. CRACK! Something snapped, an arm to be precise. It made the limp body's arm act less limp and more like a rag-doll. "I don't like doing this kinda stuff, but you aren't leaving me much choice," he muttered.
The hand-based fighter tossed the body forward, which was caught by some of the still standing cultists that were nearby. "Bad move," he said as he then charged, knocking the group down. A quick draw of the lever, and out popped 3 chips. Red, red, purple. This was one of the few times Chrohn looked at his draw, and he was happy. He tossed them up, and hit them, activating them with his aura as he made contact, using his punch to direct the force forward, towards the group. Chaos ensued as a powerfully giant wave of fire sped down the street, boosted in terms of speed thanks to the purple dust. Charred remains were the most of what was left.
"Whelp, done here!" Chrohn said cheerily as he made his way down, only to see Dusty, a Pink haired chick, a glass wall and some weirdo on the other side of said wall.

Looking around he was practically surrounded which he didn't mind. Thinking him taking on the group to give assistance to the lady, he drove forward guns blazing at the surrounding cultists followed by heavy swings from his Flesh Ripper made work of any in his sights, one by one cultists fell and any who tried to escape were shot at with the siege crossbow on the back.Bolts from the crossbow were "hip" fired but any all bolts would explode on impact causing some to blow up their targets along side some minor property damage. Most have fled and those that remained charged him at once. Wanting to save fuel he leapt out of his machine and used his height to tactically land behind the mob quickly spinning and swinging his hefty blade with both hands. A loud CLANG noise could be heard as he hits his first target followed by the ripping of clothes and flesh. Using the momentum of the swing he swung again, any who turned around to block were sent flying in sideways and into walls. Stopping himself he prepared his sword by underhanding his blade and putting the broad part of the blade facing the remainders, some running from watching the gore happen in front of them others began to charge him. Groans and shouts of anguish came from the unfortunate victims of the slaughter which made Adam grin sadistically. In his head " Haven't had this much fun in a while." he thought as he prepared to pull the lever on his prosthetic hand.

"Above you!" A voice rang out, drawing Eve’s attention to the Cultist fighter trying to get the jump on her. Ducking her head, the shield from Ferr struck the enemy with enough force to knock him off balance. Eve took this to her advantage, driving Skorpio through the man’s heart before the Dust had time to inflict itself upon him. Her attention shot over to Ferr immediately, catching the last millisecond of him being struck by an arrow. She cringed at the sight - not because she thought it hurt, but because she knew it likely hurt. Without Aura, the only thing they had to rely on was their own endurance. That said, Ferr seemed to handle the situation rather well, and hastily made his way towards her. Watching as he stabbed his sword into the ground, Eve remained close to Ferr as a great gale of wind blew back two would-be attackers. "'The students advancing?" He shouted. She nodded right away, pointing in the direction the students had ran. “They went that way. We gotta hurry and catch up before that thing makes things way worse than they need to be.” She replied, pointing in the direction the kids went, but then making sure to point out the Elder Taijitu that loomed over the town. The sand was beginning to pick up, the wind still relatively strong in comparison to Ferr’s recent Dust use. “We’ve gotta be quick, though. There’s no telling how bad this storm is going to get.” She added with another shout. Eve’s Aura: 700/700
Amber was ready to fight. Clenching the hilt of the Hound tightly, she stared down her attacker as he started moving towards her. Slowly at first, then his speed picked up. Amber braced to block the coming attack, but the attacker’s swing was halted by a sudden explosion of Glass Dust - forming a wall between her and the man. His crude scythe struck the wall, causing it to crack slightly, before he jumped back several feet. "Cheers, love! The cavalry's here!" Rang a familiar voice. A wide grin formed on her face as she glanced back to see the voice’s source, identifying Dusty right away. “D-Dusty?” She said with a bit of surprised laughter. “What are you doing here?”The brief reunion was cut shorter still by the sudden rumbling of the earth, followed by the Elder Taijitu rising from the sands. Amber’s jaw dropped at the sight of the beast. Never before had she seen something so massive, so clearly powerful. It was, for all the wrong reasons, awe-inspiring. “What do we do, Dusty?” She asked, setting her eyes back on the hooded man. He was staring back at her, his dark eyes striking her like an arrow. It was unnerving. His attention them shifted to the massive snake. “It’s time.” His heavy voice declared. As his arm raised the black orb into the air, its resonating became more and more intense - drawing the attention of the large Grimm. What happened next, though…Amber had no words. The ball disappeared, replaced by a blur of red and black energy akin to a large bolt of lightning. It struck the Elder Taijitu, causing the snake to twist and writhe in what appeared to be a great deal of agony. It’s limp body crashed down to the surface, sinking slowly into the sand with a sound similar to a sizzle. Amber was confused, almost terrified. The cultists, for the most part, had dispersed - though bodies littered the streets. The only one that remained was the man in the hood, who stood Amber and Dusty down with no sign of backing down. Amber’s hand reached back, grabbing tightly onto Dusty’s own. “Are you ready?” She asked quietly. Amber's Aura: 215/225 Assailant's Aura: ?/ ?

"Really wishing I brought my cycle with me." Ferr stated in a half-joking manner. A cold sweat began to fall down his face as he pulled his blade from the earth. Turning his blew eyes to the giant Grimm, the Hunter made a gesture with his hands. A prayer to his ancestors for power and courage. The number of cultists were winding down but Ferr was still feeling alert and the urgency of the situation was not going to weaken until they left Setek. Either with Princes Amber, or in body bags. The adrenaline flowing through him made the blood escaping his wound faster, though it's effects couldn't be felt right away. With a quick hand, Ferr took his shield from the ground and turned to another cultist. As he brought his sword to attack, the wind and sand staggered him. Taking this chance, the cultist brought his ax down toward's Ferr.
The man would feel the blade cut through his helmet and down the side of his face. Luckily the attack was weak and shallow. But strong enough to crack open Ferr's helmet. With his face exposed, the strong winds that blew his hair back. While his aura healed the cut, a droplet of blood escaped him and flew off to mix with the sand which shifted around them. It took a moment for Ferr to regain his balance as the wind tried to push him further off balance. The cultist attempted to use the sand as a distraction and vanish. Just as the man was escaping from view, Ferr activated his semblance secondary ability. As his eyes charged into a violet hue, Ferr jumped to the side plunged his blade seemingly into nothing. An instant later, blood began to slid down his sword. He managed to catch the cultist just before they ran away.
Ferr sucked his teeth as he looked up to the giant Grimm. A minute ago it seemed to dwarf the city but it then began to respond to some external source. And then it exhibited symptoms of pain. The image was grotesque, making Ferr narrow his brow before turning to Eve. "If I start to slow down forgive me. These cultists are more than I expected them to be." They had already landed three blows against him. "Like you said we need to hurry." Placing his shield up, covering his chest and throat, Ferr began running down the direction Eve indicated before. With his semblance, Ferr made sure no cultists were in his path. Though he did see many of the enemy units scattering like the winds. "What the hell is going on?" He asked himself. "Do you know what is going on with that Elder Taijitu?"

Lily arrived on the roof above the Princess and the other two strangers with relative speed. She saw the boy throw a glass wall between himself and the Princess, who seemed to be happy to see him. That likely means that the other person is the enemy here. She thought, silently moving to a position where she would be more capable of striking out at the man who was in the process of sending a second black orb up into the sky. She watched as it struck the gigantic snake Grimm and then smiled as it writhed in agony. I would say that he's not so bad, but that orb was too similar to the first, which seemed to summon him in the first place. Something weird is going on here.
She remained silent, and out of sight. She would find an opportune moment to strike, or, if things turned for the worst, she would find some way to save those two who were facing against this mysterious opponent. That's why she was going to be a huntress right? She had to learn how to save people, and she wouldn't get anywhere if she weren't courageous enough to start now. She may not have been here to save the boy, but if he needed her help, she would provide it for the same reason she would help the princess. Because it is right. Because that is the kind of Huntress that she is going to be.
I hate waiting like this. I just wish I could have saved her on my own. If this guy hadn't shown up, I could have the princess nine miles away by now. I can't carry two people with my semblance though, I would barely be able to manage with just her. Oh well, not every plan works out, and not every fight goes the way you want it to. Adapt, and learn. That's what dad always said. So I'll learn, and adapt, because sometimes it makes more sense in that order.
She kept her eyes on the strange man, never doing anything to give away her position. She had stalked prey in the wild countless times growing up. Sometimes Grimm, sometimes regular animals, but always without giving away her presence until it was too late for her prey to react. Whether in the forests, or in the city, she saw no reason why it would be different.

Mizumi kept under Dusty as much as she could, following him through the streets as he bounded over the rooftops. It didn't take long for a few cultists to find her and intercept her path. She cringed, then took up a fighting stance, her massive blue hammer lifting in front of her. She waited, watching Dusty continue advancing past her as her opponents seemed content to sit there and wait for her to make the first move. It took a few seconds, within which a stray tumbleweed would not have been out of place, before Mizumi finally obliged them. She charged forward, and the moment she took the first step the cultists advanced as well. One cultist was wielding a sword, another an axe, and the final one wielded what looked to be a pistol.
The sword and axe wielders met Mizumi head on, swinging wildly at her with seemingly no intent to hit her. Even still it forced the large girl to deflect with Blowback as best she could. She knocked the sword away with the head of the hammer before lifting the bottom of the shaft to deflect the axe. The purple crystals within the hammer began glowing brighter and brighter, the kinetic force charging within them as she continued to fight. Mizumi spun the hammer in a fierce swing, slamming into the side of the axe wielder and sending him flying across the alley. He smashed into the side of a building, and fell limp. The sword wielding cultist continued his attack with renewed fervor, and with one less person to worry about, the marksmen took his shot.
The bullet hit Mizumi in the shoulder, her aura dampening the blow enough to prevent it from piercing skin, but it still hurt. She gasped and, after deflecting another sword strike, spun Blowback into its rifle form. She pointed at the marksmen and fired, the barrel glowing with purple light. A bullet, formed entirely of kinetic energy, fired from the weapon at incredible speeds, aiming straight for the cultist. It hit him in the arm, and Mizumi didn't have time to note the results, instead having to spin Blowback back into hammer form to parry another sword strike. She turned the parry into an arcing swing, bringing her hammer up under her opponents chin and sending him sailing through the air. She didn't have time to dally though, so she continued sprinting off in the direction Dusty went, marking a large dark orb in the sky as a marker that he would probably go to. She barely even took notice of the massive snake in the sky, or its fall, after all it was nothing compared to the Will that attacked Vytal, and more importantly it didn't have to do with getting back to Dusty.
Outside Setek:
The cargo bay doors finally opened on Aisio's ship, and both the Pendragon and her butler nodded at each other and jumped from the ship. They each plummeted towards the ground, neither doing anything until they were within 18 feet off the ground. Aisio activated her semblance, fiery wings erupting from her back as she banked into a horizontal movement and went sailing towards the massive snake-like Grimm. She shuddered upon seeing it closer, never having seen something so large before. Sure she had read about them, and knew that Elder Taijitus were large, but seeing one in person was something entirely different. Flamelash pointed at the snake as she flew towards it, and she fired off one singular bolt of flame from the weapon before she got close enough to do anything else.
Ash also activated his semblance, though not until he was much closer to the ground. A mere 10 feet before impact, he muttered "Light as the air." causing the green dust weave of his gloves to glow. He became paler, almost see-through in places, and much, much lighter. He landed on the ground without even disturbing the sand, with absolutely no weight to make an impact, and followed Aisio towards the Elder Taijitu. "Fast as the wind" The wind seemed to gather behind him, pushing him faster and faster towards his target. He swung his arms and kicked a bit harder with his legs as he ran, three blades coming out of each of his vambraces and greaves. He pulled out his scroll, intent to send one final message to Eve before beginning his fight. "You worry about the princess my dear, Lady Pendragon and I will handle the Elder Taijitu." With that, he stored his scroll and continued his sprint towards the giant snake, sighing as Aisio fired off at it before arriving. She always was too quick to act.
But then, the unthinkable happened. Something attacked the Grimm before the duo could arrive, and it writhed and collapsed onto the sands. Aisio and Ash both stopped moving, staring in awe as it sank into the ground. Ash caught up to Aisio, who descended to the ground next to him and stared at him, eyes wide. "What...what just happened?" Ash shrugged with a dark gaze, staring into the city, towards the origin of the mysterious energy that took down the Elder Taijitu. "I say we find out." Aisio nodded and took to the sky again, Ash sprinting through a small maintenance hatch in the wall, which was conveniently open, as they made their way towards the princess, though they were unaware of that fact.

Chrohn took a deep breath as he took to stretching and sucking in more air. Ah, that winded me more than I thought, he said to himself. It was only after the stargazer caught his breath that he noticed the remains of an Elder Taijitu, or from what he could tell at least. "Dusty, did you kill big snake? What the hell did I miss?" Chrohn called up to the rooftops. Exactly, Chrohn had no exact idea where Dusty was, but he figured that the giant wall would be his general location, and that's where he directed his voice. "Uh, you seen Mizu anywhere? I missed her on the way here! Is she up there with you?!"
With this, he hopped up to the rooftops, using windows and such, with much better efficiency than before, only to find himself face to face with Dusty, a Girl who wasn't Mizumi, and a weirdo on the other side of the glass wall. Here he took to resting his hand on his chin, pondering the situation before speaking some more. "So whose the hooded weirdo?"
