“Everybody, keep your heads down!”Explosions rippled through the streets of Pinnacle, a result of the many armored vehicles coursing through the city as they fired off high-explosive incendiary rounds at the Grimm that plagued the streets. Ceyla and her group had been separated from the rest of the task force, having needed to jump from the airship much sooner than originally anticipated. They had been ambushed by a horde of Krahe - almost as if the Grimm knew they were coming. “If you don’t keep yourselves under cover, you will die here!” She snapped at the group again, firing two of six rounds from her revolver at a Barghest. She was still without a proper weapon, instead needing to rely on substitutes for the mission. A revolver, complete with one hundred fifty explosive Dust rounds split between thirty speed loaders. Her sword for the time being was an Energy Dust-laced longsword, a far cry from her Daedalus. If she had to guess, the blade of this sword was about thirty-four inches in length, and overall about forty-four inches. It handled well, to say the least, meaning it would serve its purpose. Taking a moment, Ceyla looked down the road towards the rest of the group. They were still too scattered, they had to regroup. If the Grimm managed to thin out the team any more than they already were, it would only make it easier for the monsters to pick them down - one after the other. A snarl nearby brought Ceyla’s attention to the source of the sound - a Graylich barreling towards her. “D-dammit!” She cursed, lunging out of the way.Instinctively, she fired three bullets into the hide of the beast, each one sinking into the darkness of its body before releasing thick black smoke. The monster’s beady red eyes locked on her, its grotesque maw hanging open as it inched closer and closer. Ceyla remained petrified, backing further and further away until she felt her back meet the wall of a building. She inhaled sharply, trying to avoid eye contact with the creature as it drew close enough for her to feel - and smell - its rancid breath. As the Graylich raised one of its heavy claws, Ceyla’s Aura responded with a gentle pulse. An invisible energy, the Void King - Gallows, activated itself. A handful of sonic blasts ripped the monster apart, each one cracking like a gunshot as they met their mark.Ceyla slouched against the wall, wiping the beaded sweat off her forehead. Breathing was becoming a chore all its own, thanks to the way the she had landed after bailing from the ship. “Curse that stupid ship!” She snapped, cringing as she rested her hand over a bloodied scrape on her arm. It burned, but she’d have to deal with it. There was no time to dilly dally - every second was pivotal to their success. Staggering to her feet, Ceyla stuffed her gun in its holster and drew her sword. It was showtime. “Everyone, let’s regroup near the garden. Center of the city - just follow the bell tower.” She called into the earpiece. “Try not to get caught up in a fight. We need to get a good idea on our numbers look compared to theirs.”Without wasting any more time, Ceyla darted off in the direction of the city square. She weaved through the streets, throwing quick slashes at any Grimm she came by on the way. Not enough to kill, but at least enough to slow them down. The city square was desolate, but looked like a good space to set up a command center. There were a few local peacekeepers, Hunters and local law enforcement, setting up a perimeter. Panting, Ceyla made her way to a shaded area under a tree - within view of the rest of the square. Leaning against the oak surface, she let out a relieved sigh as her eyes scanned the area. Hopefully everyone would show up soon, and hopefully enough people had survived the ambush and the jump.“Please, Alburn. Please be safe.”

"Remember to watch your aura levels, retreat if you have to. And also, make sure you're not wearing yourself out, I don't-" Kim held her hand up to stop the man from speaking. He was an old man, looking to be in his late fifties, with light green hair, sky blue eyes and dressed in a white lab coat. He was fretting over Kim, moving about and checking his scroll constantly, fiddling with various parts of her and machines around her, inspecting Leo, the robotic cat meowing in protest whenever he did. He stopped at Kim's raised hand, took a deep breath, and nodded slowly. "I know. I just, I want you to be safe. You just woke up and already you want to go charging off to help save people." He smiled, stepping back to look her over as his face showed almost immeasurable pride. They were in the belly of an airship, Clover insisting on staying in the air longer to perform some final check-ups on the newly rebuilt Kim.
Kim, for her part, was sitting on a bench, long black hair rolling down her back and piercing green eyes gazing softly at the old scientist. She wore a dark blue jacket resting over a light blue blouse, with pants a shade of blue in between the two. On her head was a feline ear, and the stump of a second one opposite it, each coated in black fur. "I know Clover, you do not need to worry about me." She held her left hand up, the silver metal glowing with an unnatural white light, and Clover nodded. "I will be safe, I remember how to fight, just not where I learned it. Anyway, you should be going soon. I will need to be dropping soon, or I will miss all the action." Kim smiled and waved as the old man nodded, turning to leave. She stood up, moving to the cargo bay doors nearby. Leo scampered over and clambered onto her left shoulder, his softer white glow blending in with the one from the Torch. She smiled as the doors opened, that smile growing larger as the massive drop she was soon to face. In order to stay in the air for longer their airship had to fly a little higher, not a problem for Kim herself, but it also meant that everybody else had already jumped. Kim braced herself to jump, something about it making her feel very excited and happy.
The robotic faunus sprinted forward and leapt out of the cargo bay, plummeting through clouds towards the center of the city. She aimed for the garden, able to make out someone already there and many others already making their way there, though not much more then the fact that they weren't Grimm. She streaked through the air, the light of her arm leaving a trail of light behind her as Leo clutched tightly onto her. She rapidly approached the ground, and as she did so she spun around to plant her feet beneath her. Something in the back of her mind told her that this wasn't a good way to be landing, that it put unnecessary strain on both her knees and the terrain, but another part felt the urge to do it. She slammed into the ground, making a crater where she landed and sending tremors through the nearby area. Her knees bent with the impact, and she planted the Torch to assist in absorbing it. She stayed like that for a few seconds as the force of the impact fully transferred out of her body. Then she rose, her mechanical knees making slight whines as they extended fully again, and looked around. She spotted Ceyla not far away, and stepped out of her self made crater to approach her.
Arriving next to Ceyla, Kim held out her right hand in greeting while smiling warmly at her. "My name is Kim, I am here to help. I am sorry to be late, Clover insisted on doing some last minute diagnostics to ensure my systems were running at full capacity." Leo crawled off her shoulder, jumping on to the ground before turning to Ceyla and meowing indignantly. Kim laughed, reaching down to pet the mechanical companion, who purred and nuzzled into her hand in response. "This is Leo. Do not be fooled by his appearance, he is quite vicious in combat." Kim stood again, turning to survey the area around them. It was a pretty area, not counting the massive hole Kim had put into it by skydiving in, and looked relatively secure. Again, not considering the crater that was suddenly introduced into the architecture. "Simply tell me where to go, I will help as best as I am able."

| TAKE ME TO VALHALLA WHERE MY BROTHERS WAIT FOR ME | |
The Hunter let out a brief grunt as he attempted to stand back up. Alburn could distinctly remember how the explosion rocked the ship, forcing most of the hunters were literally forced to jump off the airship. There were those who didn't make it out, and those unfortunate stragglers, included him. The ship crash landed soon after. Those that survived had to get their bearing together, and quickly before the Grimms that'd set up ambush came to pick them off. The creatures were getting surprisingly smart. They weren't like the old days, far from it. Nowadays, it looked as if the hunters that was becoming the hunted. After picking up the gunblade that was laying by his side, the male forced himself out the wreckage of twisted metal. Upon making out, Alburn saw those few survivors, many whom were attempting to scavenge some supplies to join the battle. Smart. Things of interest included: Ammunitions, spare weapons, and whatever sidearms the survivors could possibly get their hands on. These precious gears were, suffice to say, ripped out of the hands of dead hunters and huntresses. No doubt that these men and women would no longer be needing them. "Comon', what are you standing around for?!" A voice called out from behind, "The Grimms will be here at any minute. We are to regroup at a garden at a central courtyard of the city. Grab whatever you can, and let's move!" BGM;; Veiled in BlackAlready, the group was making their way, and Alburn promptly followed, sprinting through the stone-laden streets with the Second Sun firmly held in his hands. However, the group was brought to an immediate halt to their tracks by the sound of several nearby howls coming from behind the buildings, and from the shadows, feral creatures coated in blackness as the abyss they sprawled out from, sprung towards them. Their crimson eyes stared down at them all, hungry, predatory. Caught by surprise, the Hunters at the front line fell immediately to their demise. The razor sharp claws and talons of these berserk creatures bisected, butchered and ripped through the men and women before they could possibly have any chance to defend themselves. Alburn, however, unlike most of the hunters whom were panicking from the ambush, the Officer charged into the fray as he dragged his gunblade across the ground, kicking up numerous pebbles and sparks as he did so. One of the creatures who'd noticed his charge thought to make an easy prey out of the hunter like the rest, and so, the abomination stretched its maws and pounced right at him with claws first. Immediately, the male slammed his right foot forward, put strength into his arms as he pulled the trigger on the Second Sun. --- Click. Followed by a sound of hammer smashing against the primer of the bullet within its revolving chamber, Alburn ferociously swung his flaming gunblade through the air. The attack effectively bisected the creature clean in half long before its fangs could possibly reach him. With his once silver blade now bathed in the blood of the creature that it'd slain, it attracted the attention of its kin. Immediately, their attention was on him. Before they could even possibly launch their attack, the male tapped into the depths of his soul, feeding all of his anger and ferocity to awaken The Railgun, Primary Barrel. Glowering, the Officer bent his knees, and within a fraction of second, he simply disappeared, leaving no more than a large cloud of dust and an after image of himself behind. However, it was this moment of surprise that allowed Alburn to close in and launch an attack on the Alpha - at least, that's what he'd judged by from its overly hulking appearance. The creature, obviously seeing this, attempted to crush him under its massive log-like arms, but the Hunter simply hopped to the side and snapped his gunblade downwards, easily severing apart its armored limb, leather, muscles and bones much like what a hot knife would do to a butter. Even as its precious life blood which gushed forth and wash over him, Alburn dared not to flinch. Instead, he stepped into its opening before unleashing a volley of brutal cleaves to tear its thick armor asunder. Tearing. Smashing. Grinding. Once its vitals were exposed, Alburn slammed his foot forward and pushed in with his weapon. The gunblade burnt away its heart along with its precious internal organs, setting the creature's body afire from within. For a first few moments, it thrashed around with its arms, but once it finally fell silent a second later, he released it into a crowd of its own kin. As its lifeless corpse slammed down on one of the creatures, the Officer pulled down on the hammer of the Second Sun and thrust it forward while pulling his index finger against its trigger. Immediately, a colossal beam of light burning with fury of a thousand suns burst forth from his weapon, and the destruction that soon followed was no less than devastating. It scorched its surroundings, and the creatures simply vanished from the existence, leaving no more than shadows of their previous selves along with charred limbs behind as a proof that they were once there. Upon clearing the hordes of enemies, the hunters and huntresses made their way to the garden, and Alburn, spotting Ceyla not too far from his position, the Officer ran up to her to give her a hug. He couldn't describe how relieved he was to see her safe, but he knew this was far from over. The teams were surrounded by enemies on all fronts. They'd have to make this reunion quick. She was beginning to grow weary, probably a result of the adrenaline working its way out of her system. With an irritated sigh, Ceyla eased herself onto the group and leaned her head back against the tree behind her. Explosions echoed throughout the city, causing her to shift uncomfortably in position. She hoped everyone else was getting through the Grimm alright. One after another, soldiers - Hunters - started popping up through the dust that started to cloud the streets. Ceyla was relieved, exhaling heavily as she staggered to her feet. Some of the faces were familiar, belonging to those that were lucky to survive the airships plummet to the city.
A face she did not recognize, however, was the first to approach her. Green eyes and dark hair - and feline ears? It appeared that she was a Faunus too, though it was much more noticeable. It was times like these that Ceyla missed having her tail, though she had to admit that being without it made some things far easier. "My name is Kim, I am here to help.” She said, introducing herself, also adding an apology for her lateness. Ceyla responded with a lighthearted chuckle, giving the woman a friendly pat on the shoulder. “Hey, you made it, and that’s what counts.” She said with a smile. “My name is Ceyla. Ceyla Regenwald. I’m the current PM of Legion, but don’t worry about formalities. Just call me Ceyla, kay?”
More and more fighters poured into the city square, some of them in rough shape. The wounded drew Ceyla’s attention from Kim, her heart painfully skipping beats as she scanned the masses for a sign of Alburn. She still hadn’t seen any sign of him, and she was beginning to get worried. “Let’s set up an area to tend to the injured! I want everyone that can Mend to prioritize helping the wounded!” She called out, pointing to a small market canopy that would serve as the perfect place for a makeshift infirmary. “Those of you that aren’t hurt and can still fight, I want you to help the locals secure the perimeter. This will be our command center for the duration of the operation!” She added, her voice carrying over the area with ease.
“There is no time to lose, let’s hustle! Go, go, go!”
Turning back to Kim, Ceyla huffed as she nodded at the woman. “Well, Kim, before we get started pointing you anywhere I need to get an idea of your skills.” She said, tearing a piece of clothe from her sleeve and tying it over the wound on her arm. “And while we’re at it, I guess you can tell me a little more about that little machine of yours, too. At least whatever you’re at liberty to share.” A bit of shouting drew Ceyla’s attention away before Kim could speak, a bit of rabble-rousing near the newly designated infirmary. As she prepared to scold the men, however, her attention was once again stolen - but this time by something she wanted: Alburn entering the square. The sight of him relieved her of the unbelievable weight on her heart.
"Alburn!" She called out, running towards him as fast as she could.
He was safe, he was okay. The relief was enough to put her to tears, but she managed to keep them at bay for the time being. As she met up with him, Ceyla threw her arms around Alburn and held onto him with all her might. She loathed the fact that their little reunion wouldn’t last given the circumstances, but that didn’t matter - he had survived. "Are you okay?" He asked as he hugged her. "You are not hurt anywhere, are you?" She shook her head with a suppressed giggle, easing herself out of the embrace. “I’m fine, Alburn. I promise. Just a little scuff on my arm is all.” She said with a reassuring smile. “How about you? Are you okay? I was starting to get worried, but I should have known better than to think you of all people would have trouble out here.”
Looking around the square, Ceyla took note of the available fighters they had. The Grimm had quieted down, being distracted by the heavily armored vehicles and Guardian-class mechs within the city. They had a little time to collect themselves, but it’d be time to move out soon.
The battle had only just begun.

Kim dipped into a bow when Ceyla introduced herself as the Prime Minister, her glowing left hand lifting into the air as her right bent under her chest in an extremely formal gesture. When she rose, and was promptly told to forgo formalities, she laughed nervously, quickly latching onto the request to show her skills. She reached her left hand up to grip her right sleeve, pulling it up and over her elbow. The mechanical joint showed gears and wires, revealing beyond a doubt her mechanical nature. "To start with, we are both machines. Did you hear about the mission Miss Pendragon led some students on about a month ago? To find some long lost weapon? That weapon was me, and I have been rebuilt over the past month, only awakening yesterday." Kim pushed her sleeve back down quickly, some small measure of her still somehow embarrassed by her being a machine. Leo nuzzled into her leg, causing Kim to absentmindedly rub his head with the Torch. As she did so, her other hand's claws shot out of her fingers, the three fingers of silver metal presenting to Ceyla for a moment before retracting into her hand.
"My primary fighting method is with these claws, along with that I can superheat my body and am incredibly strong." She lifted her left arm, showing the glowing hand to Ceyla, releasing claws that glowed with the same light for merely a moment. Then she retracted them, pressing the hand back down to her side. "This is the Torch, forged with trace amounts of Divine dust by Legion's premiere scientists, same with Leo. That is the reason the both of them glow. I can give Leo a sort of avatar made of my aura, growing him in size and increasing his combat prowess. The best place for me would be on the front lines, I do not exactly have a long distance fighting capability." She smiled, and then she turned to go begin patrolling the perimeter. Kim heard what sounded like a relieved Ceyla and someone else, but didn't turn to look. After all, it was not her business, and she was not one to so callously interfere with other's lives.

Though they had to keep their reunion was short, the Officer felt a great sense of relief in his soul to see Ceyla came out of the landing alright. He knew she was a skilled fighter - and knew better than to worry about over something like this, but there wasn't a single second he hadn't asked himself if she was okay ever since he made it out of that unfortunate crash. “I’m fine, Alburn. I promise. Just a little scuff on my arm is all," She reassured him, “How about you? Are you okay? I was starting to get worried, but I should have known better than to think you of all people would have trouble out here.”Gently easing himself out of her arms, the Alburn turned his dark eyes towards the wound on her arm, which was no doubt it was made by the Grimm. Once again, realizing that the Grimm were covering all their defensive fronts like swarm of bees, his mind immediately turned towards the battlefield. His eyes started to analyze the defenses, the men power and the capabilities. The creatures were kept temporarily distracted by walls of armored vehicles and Guardian-class walkers that were barely keeping these things at bay. However, it wouldn't be long before they punched a big enough hole through their metal defenses with their sheer numbers and overwhelm them before too long. "Get that wound looked at," The Officer spoke with an authority, "If not - at least get it covered up." Almost immediately, it back to business for Alburn. Though the male wished that their moment would last a little longer than this, he hoped that Ceyla would understand well enough that they were in middle of a battlefield full of enemies, with countless wounded and god knows how many fighters. With his weapon firmly held in hand, he decided to have a quick walk around the garden to get view of their overall capabilities. As far as he could tell, they had more wounded than the ones who were capable of fighting. Even with all these technological advantages that the years of research have brought them, the hunters were horribly outnumbered. This caused Alburn to grit his teeth in frustration. They needed to think of something, fast. Still, it seemed like Ceyla had managed to establish a good command post, but their defenses were horribly lacking. If they went to offense now without any defenses, this outpost would fall in matter of minutes and the battle would be lost against these creatures. They had to make sure this place would hold if they were to go on the attack. He'd divide a team. A few squad to hod down the fort, and the others to go on the attack through the city to drive the Grimm back. "Everyone, with the exception of those who are Mending and tending to the wounded, assemble!" Hearing out his command, many men and women gathered in front of him. As expected, they truly were outnumbered, but not all was lost. Alburn's dark eyes looked over towards the local law enforcement and militia. Though many were nowhere near as trained as the professional Hunters and Huntresses were, there were still capable fighters among them. How else could they have last so long? "I want every local law enforcement, and militia to push for an all round defensive perimeter around this garden and put some supporting fire for the Guardian-class walkers and armored vehicles on Grimm to clear a path. Also, anyone who's capable of touching in with the radio, I want you all to stay here and get some communications established for back-up. We need every men and women out there we could get." He narrowed his eyes. "There's no time to waste, go!" Already, he felt his voice getting a little bit hoarse. He hadn't spoken this loud since the day he fought Ceyla for the first time. To be quite honest, he never gave out orders before, and never wanted to, but with their survival on the line, Alburn felt that being an introvert here would simply get them killed. As he trained to become a Police Officer, they always told him that communication was the key, and it couldn't possibly prove itself more true here within this city of rising smokes and fire. He then turned towards the other Hunters and Huntresses who were still around, still looking somewhat unsure of what they ought to do. "As for Hunters and Huntresses here, I want to divide us into a few separate teams to retake the city over a few strategic positions. Anyone who's not included, I want them help with the defenses and make sure our outpost doesn't fall. If this place gets done, we are all dead. Remember that." He then turned his attention towards the woman with a silver arm, and then at Ceyla, "Does anyone have a map with them?" -- Remaining Usage for Rounds in Chamber -- - 4x Red; (11/12) - 1x Green; (3/3) - 1x Orange; (2/3) Active AP: 630/650

Ceyla regarded Alburn’s concern for the wound on her arm, but ultimately did nothing. In their current situation, she wanted to waste no time sitting around and getting patched up. Once she decided the time was right, her Aura would get to do its thing and heal the wound - as was its nature. Many, however, were not as lucky. Some peoples’ Auras weren’t as strong as others, meaning the Grimm had much less Aura to pick through as a result - meaning wounds were a lot more serious. Thankfully, they had the menders. Taking a moment to process a few thoughts, Ceyla was about to start throwing orders around before Alburn stepped in.
Normally, she probably would have been quite perturbed by control over the situation suddenly being taken from her, but for the sake of her exhaustion, she let Alburn continue. It was a side of the young man she had never seen before, a side that more or less left her speechless. Ceyla continued to watch Alburn with a grin, surprised at how well he was handling things. Those among them, confused, looked from the young man and then back to her. The corner of her mouth twisted into a smirk as she nodded them away to commit to their new orders. When Alburn’s attention turned to the Hunters, she responded by standing before him among the group.
”I want to divide us into a few separate teams to retake the city over a few strategic positions. Anyone who's not included, I want them help with the defenses and make sure our outpost doesn't fall.” He went on, Ceyla and the group responding with agreeing nods. ”If this place gets done, we are all dead. Remember that." Again, nodding in response, the group echoed in unison with a loud “YES SIR!” They quickly dispersed into balanced groups, each makeshift soldier complimenting their comrades and their abilities. Ceyla, not wanting to lose sight of Alburn again, remained close to him. If they had to split away from the group, then hopefully he understood that it’d be together.
His attention turned back to her for a moment, and she smiled proudly as a result of his performance taking the lead. "Does anyone have a map with them?" He inquired, his attention flicking to Kim before settling on Ceyla. She thought for a moment, trying to use what she remembered of the city to paint a picture of the immediate area in her head. No, that wouldn’t do. Shaking her head in frustration, Ceyla massaged her head before suddenly perking up. “The bell tower has one!” She finally responded, pointing at the old tower that loomed over the square. “It was put there a while ago in case people got lost. They could always get into the center of town by following the tower, then use the map to find their way.”
Glancing over to Kim, who had begun patrolling the perimeter, Ceyla whistled loudly in an effort to get her attention. “Hey, Kim! Come here quick!” She called out. Turning her attention back to Alburn for a moment, she let out a relieved sigh. “You handled that very well, Alburn. I’ll be sure to remember the good work once we get home.” She said. “Back to the matter at hand, though. I think it’d be wise for us to make our way to the eastern edge of town. If we could somehow draw the Grimm there, we can take advantage of some of the magma veins that sit just a little ways beyond the city wall.” The trick now was trying to figure out exactly how to draw the beasts after them if that turned out to be the course of action.
“Void Dust.” Ceyla added after a brief silence. “It’s not readily available anywhere, but I know some is kept at the Monastery in the event something like this happens. If we can get there, my father will help us. I’m sure of it.”

Hiding out at the Monastery in town, Kradec made his way into raiding the place. As he searched through he simply took anything dust related or golden, upon further rummaging through things he found a good supply of void dust. Loading some into his shoes he takes a good portion of the crystals. "Now to make good use of these. I could sell them but I can also most likely use it to help people... I'll hang onto these for now." he said stuffing the last of the crystals into various pockets and decided to try searching for more. He was overly cautious as not to alert any others doing as he is or monks still occupying the Monastery. Finding nothing of real worth or use he makes his way back. He had infiltrated the Monastery before the attacks and was posing as an initiate to the sect as he was hired to look for a very specific object for his client. Having stayed there for a while he built up the trust of the monks and was planning what he could take that wouldn't be missed while he was still here. He left money and sacred objects alone but took his target, silverware, plates, and dust he could find instead. As he made his exit a monk confronted him, "Brother Grey why are you abandoning the Monastery?" he asked suspicious of Kradec. "Brother Stark I was going to scout out and gather those stuck in the city, the grimm seem to have died down so I'm going for a run." Kradec explained being a very good liar, shrugging the monk let him go and Kradec ran into the streets, not abandoning his garb till he was out of the city. Kradec ventured around "looking for survivors" but was checking out more places to raid, most would see a wandering monk in the distance and whether they want to approach or not is up to them. Upon looking they'd see the black haired, pale raccoon faunus walking around with a cane in monk garb.

Kim's single feline ear twitched when she heard her name called, and she turned towards Ceyla. Being called over, she obliged and approached the prime minister and her companion, and she recalled hearing something of a map in the bell tower. "I do not know if it will help, but I have a map in my memory banks. Give me a moment." She began digging through her files, searching for the map before downloading it directly to her scroll. After doing that she uploaded it to Ceyla and Alburn's scrolls, all without ever stopping walking or even touching her scroll. Lucky for her she had the device wirelessly connected to her systems, so she had access to its full array of functions wirelessly and without the need of contact. "That should do it, I have uploaded the map to your scrolls. Clover felt I should know more about the city before I arrived, so he uploaded everything he could find about it to me." She turned to Alburn, holding out her non-glowing hand in greeting with an oddly strained smile on her face. "My name is Kim by the way, rebuilt mechanical weapon found derelict in a cave a month back. Pleasure to meet you." She smiled and nodded listening to Ceyla's plan. It sounded reasonable, though when she got to the part about Void dust Kim frowned. From what she could recall that was illegal, and digging through her memories showed that she was indeed told that.
"Beg pardon Prime-Ceyla, but I thought Void dust was illegal. I am newly awoken, so I could be mistaken however. I mean no offense, of course. If our plan requires it I will be more then happy to assist, but I feel I should mention that I, personally, can not utilize the powers of any dust type. Except Divine, as I am told, due to the nature of my arm and its construction." She shrugged the Torch in emphasis, Leo padding across the field to clamber onto her shoulder, the glowing metal cat aiding her point further. Kim glanced around, realizing the tenuous strength of their defenses and how soon the Grimm could get through them. Her green eyes slit as she focused, watching for any encroaching Grimm or other threat. She turned towards Alburn again, unsure as to why she felt so wary around him. After a moment she settled on the fact that it was because she hadn't seen him fight, and didn't know if he was a worthy ally. Yes, that must have been it. With that out of the way, she continued her examination of the immediate area, awaiting more orders from Ceyla.

"I do not know if it will help, but I have a map in my memory banks. Give me a moment."
Ceyla’s attention whipped to Kim as she piped up, offering a much quicker alternative to wandering over to the bell tower and checking for a map that may or may not be there. "That should do it, I have uploaded the map to your scrolls. Clover felt I should know more about the city before I arrived, so he uploaded everything he could find about it to me." The dark haired woman added, to which Ceyla let out a relieved - but quiet - sigh. She pulled her Scroll from her pocket, pulling up the map that Kim had just uploaded to them. “This is perfect, Kim. Thank you very much.” She said with an approving smile.
She stood by silently reviewing the map as Kim and Alburn introduced one another, though she took mental note of Kim’s origins - ”rebuilt mechanical weapon found derelict in a cave” - and would be sure to inquire on such things later. For the life of her, Ceyla couldn’t possibly remember if such a thing had ever been brought to her attention. A machine of any type from Old Remnant was sure to possess information about that time. This wasn’t to say that Ceyla wanted to exploit that information, rather she wanted to protect Kim from those that might do so. As an ex-member of the White Fang, she was sure there were people that would be poking their noses around the Kingdom in an effort to learn more about the mechanized woman.
"Beg pardon Prime-Ceyla, but I thought Void dust was illegal.” Kim cut in, distracting Ceyla from her deep thought. She was a little dazed at first, not sure how she should respond. It took a second, but she eventually processed the proper response. “Well, technically speaking, both Void and Divine Dust have a gray area of legality.” She replied, correcting Kim. “They're both remarkably volatile and dangerous in the wrong hands. Void Dust is banned in all the Kingdoms, but the Monastery’s semi-religious views on its use protect them from persecution. Similarly, Divine Dust is collectively regarded as being solely for the use of extremely powerful Aura users - like the late King Sablier’s Commander of the Guard.” Tucking her Scroll away, Ceyla pulled loose the blue ribbon that had been tied around her knee, using it to tie her hair up in an unkempt ponytail.
A few newly formed teams made their way towards the trio, being directed by Ceyla with a quick motion to head down a nearby street. “I know exactly where we should go from here.” She said, turning back towards Alburn and Kim. “It’s going to be messy, it’s going to be very loud, but we’ll make it. Little to no casualties, I’m sure.” Drawing her revolver, she checked the cylinder to ensure it was fully loaded. Given she hadn’t fired since reloading long before arriving in the square, it was ready to go. “We’re going to want to get going now, though.” She added, stuffing the revolver back in its holster. “So, should we head to the Monastery for the Void Dust, or should we come up with a different plan? We don’t have time to dilly-dally more than we already have.”
