"Oh and the big sword can turn into two smaller ones! If I wanna slice and dice, y'know?" Ciela mimicked a flurry of slashes with two weapons, never removing herself from her pile of pillows. She moped a little when he said that she'd have to wait to see the rest of what his weapon could do. "Aw man." If her big stuffed cat hadn't been deposited on her bed, she'd have clutched it and tried to make puppy eyes at him to see the rest. As it stood, she couldn't quite achieve maximum adorable, so she sufficed herself with just the puppy eyes. They always worked on her dad, at least.

Argent looked over at her, his eyes sharp and piercing, before returning to his book. "Those don' work on me. Canid Faunus have a built-in resistance." He chuckled, closing the notebook when a knock came at the door. Standing up and striding over, he opened the door, the staff member he'd called for standing on the other side. "Said you had something you needed removed?" The worker spoke, seeming a bit stressed for time.
Argent pointed behind himself with his thumb, motioning his head. "Take the bed. I won't be needin' it. Leave the pillows and blankets, though." The worker gave him a quizzical look, before stepping in past Argent and seeing the young woman sharing the dorm, and looked back at Argent incredulously. "We're not sharin'. I'm up there." Argent replied sharply, pointing at the hammock hung from the ceiling.

"If I'm sharing with anyone, it's with Ms. Playtime." Ciela bounced up, grabbing the giant stuffed cat and swirling it around, before flopping back into her pile of pillows. "Though I have to ask, what's with the hammock? That can't be comfortable." It was probably something to do with his whole wild-man (wild dog-man?) mystique that it seemed like he went to great pains to maintain. She briefly considered waiting until he was asleep to try and inspect his weapon, but she got the feeling he'd see her coming from a mile off and like leave mousetraps or something.
She wondered if the fact that she had a giant pile of plushies and pillows was ruining her cred with her partner. Her next thought was why she was worrying about that to begin with; it's not like she could go request a new partner. She might as well learn to play with the hand she'd been dealt.

Argent chuckled a bit, as the maintenance worker got to removing the bed, and looked over at Ciela. "Actually, I just sleep more comfortably when I can curl up and be wrapped up. As for the fur, it was just cheaper to use what I had than to buy fabric." Walking over the the bed, Argent pulled off the pillows and outer blanket, setting them out of the worker's way. "And honestly, the only thing you haven't seen is the Dust functions."
As the worker managed to remove the last bits of the bed, Argent shut the door behind him, and sat at his desk, sighing. Reorganizing a few things on the desk, he stopped as his stomach growled loudly, a twitch forming in his lips. "Damn, I forgot I didn't get anything to eat before I was shuffled out here." He groaned, looking positively peeved. "Hey Ci, you wanna get something to eat? My treat."

"Well, there was that thing you did with the Gravity Dust...* Ciela snuggled a little deeper into her pile, wondering just how many things that weapon could do. It had a sword, a gun, an axe, it could do Dust stuff, it had a disguise as a crappy weapon... her own weapon was starting to seem kinda bland by comparison. She hugged the cat again, enjoying the plush warmth as its glass eyes bugged a little. She could almost feel herself beginning to drift away when he started speaking again.
The moment he mentioned food, her own stomach growled like an angry beast. She sat up, pushing the cat aside, and shrugged. "I could eat." She bounced out of the pile and grabbed her pack, slinging it onto her back and quickly shifting to make it comfy. When that was done, she looked at her new partner, waiting for him.
