Ciela stood on her bed, surveying their arrangements, her boots sitting on the floor near her bed neatly arranged. She and Argent had been given a normal two-person room, with a pair of beds, a pair of desks, a pair of dressers, and a pair of closets. She'd already claimed her own bed, and with her uncle's help, had mounted a few shelves on the wall above both hers and Argent's desk. She figured he'd appreciate the gesture to try and make his life a bit easier. She had a bundle of posters on her bed behind her, mostly for different bands she enjoyed, but one of the schematics for Cloudburst Queen, that she still needed to hang.
"Wonder when he'll get here..." She muttered aloud, legitimately curious. He seemed like he'd had somewhere he needed to be immediately after the hunt, so maybe he was still at his appointment. Come to think of it, Ciela had probably rushed her own post-hunt proceedings so she could move in faster. She shrugged, grabbing another set of the things she needed to hang up, a string of fairy lights, and lighting up her pack, floating around the perimeter of the room pinning the lights into place. She paused floating in front of the door because the frame was giving her trouble, trying to wedge the lights into place. "Come on, you little..." she muttered, fiddling.

Just s Ciela muttered, the doorknob shifted, turning and giving way as the door swung open, a rather tired-looking black-haired lad standing in the now-open doorway. "Pretty sure the profs ain't big on students usin' their weapons in the dorms." Argent spoke snidely, dragging a cart behind him loaded with wooden boxes and small crates, as well as four suitcases and one long, elaborately-designed case, clearly holding his weapon. Unlike earlier, Argent had removed his coat, revealing the long, soft white sleeves of a silken shirt underneath.
Setting the cart aside, Argent glanced over at the sleeping arrangement, and sighed. "Well, that's gonna hafta go. Takes up too much room, and I really don't need it." Moving over to what he assumed would be his dresser, he pulled open the drawers to gauge how much space he'd have to work with.

"Excuse you, Cloudburst Queen is way more than just a weapon." Ciela rounded on Argent, after having barely dodged him opening the door. She put her hands on her hips, glaring down at him. "And besides, I have the go-ahead from the history teacher to use the Queen as I see fit." With her snappy comeback delivered, she turned back to hanging up the fairy lights around the entire upper perimeter of the room, at one point passing over her new partner before completing the circuit near her bed. She set the switch to dangle near her head, and tested it a few times before leaving it on and beginning to hang her posters.
First went up the posters of various bands, being especially reverent with her poster of The Tortured Souls, which she'd gotten on their Only My Guitar Understands Me tour. That one went up right over her head, but she was trying to keep the posters to her half of the room. She put up the schematics to Cloudburst Queen right over her desk, taking a brief moment to adjust the trunk of tools she had for maintenance. The entire time, she touched the ground maybe once, to grab a poster. She heard something he said about his bed needing to go and filed it away in her head in the "ask about that at some point" box.
When she was finished, she floated roughly in the room's center and surveyed her work so far, sitting crosslegged on empty air. She still had to set up her comfy corner and put her books on the shelves.

Disregarding the floating pixie that was his new partner, Argent continued about his own preparations. Opening the bottom dresser drawer, he walked over to his belongings and grabbed one of the suitcases, a smaller one with a series of black strips over one side. Setting it in the dresser, he removed the strips, revealing Dust tanks full of various colors, then placed a few small things in each corner of the drawer. Quickly closing the drawer, he went back to his belongings, grabbing the remaining suitcases and emptying their contents into the other dresser drawers, except for his coat, which remained packed for the moment.
Next came one of the wooden crates, emptied onto the desk to reveal that it contained numerous mechanical implements and parts, mostly unfinished, and a small toolbox which now rested beside the desk on the floor. The second crate contained a larger toolbox, which came to rest aside its smaller brother, as well as a hammock made of a soft, thick pelt, and a matching hammock chair, which he sat aside for the moment.
Finally grabbing his weapon case, he made room on the wall above his desk, and opened the case, pulling out a set of hooks that attached to the wall rather easily, then sat the weapon on the hooks, mounting it delicately and precisely. Oddly, the weapon was unwrapped, the orange cloth remaining in the case, and the ornate sheath design showed proudly.

Ciela lazily turned around before having a sudden realization herself. "Crap!" She dropped to the floor, folding her wings and running over to the door, grabbing a light blue and white steamer trunk and dragging it over to her dresser with rather considerable effort. She cracked it open and started unloading her clothing into the dresser Argent hadn't claimed. She'd done just about everything else but had neglected that somehow. She whistled a cheerful tune, neatly folding things and putting them away in a rather organized fashion, knowing they'd be all over the place shortly.
Next out of the trunk came a bracket for the Queen. That went over the bed, next to the Tortured Souls poster, and she fully expected it to be infrequently used. But both her parents and uncle insisted she have somewhere to store it when she was sleeping or otherwise not using it. The bracket was almost entirely to humor them, but maybe there'd be a rare moment when it got used for its actual purpose. She turned, seeing Lupus on its own brackets and floating over to investigate.

Ignoring his partner for now, Argent proceeded to climb atop the desk, setting two more hooks into the ceiling, for the hammock, then glancing over to space over the bed he was going to remove. "Hmm, that might be tricky." Hopping down from the desk, he headed over to the bed, with a single large hook in hand, and crouched down a bit, his rump barely off the floor, before bounding upwards, firmly attaching the hook to the ceiling above the bed before landing roughly on said bed, bouncing back to his feet from the springy bed. "Bah, that's why I hate these things."
Heading back to the desk, he pulled out a series of schematic sketches, with notes scrawled in every available space, and set them on the wall over the desk. His work space was just about complete, but he'd still need to get rid of the bed. Sighing, he pulled out his Scroll and went through the contacts, looking for someone that worked at the school that wasn't his mother.

Ciela turned to watch her partner setting some hooks in the ceiling, which reminded her of something she still needed to do. She zipped back over to her side of the room, going back into the steamer trunk and pulling out a rather significant collection of large overstuffed pillows, ranging in color mostly in different shades of pink and sky blue, piling them in the corner next to her bed, taking up an area almost five and a half feet square. She topped it off with a positively massive stuffed cat that was actually larger than its owner, with pink fur the same shade as Ciela's and a bow tied to its right ear. A tag on a collar around its neck identified it as "Ms. Playtime".
"And done!" Ciela spun in the air a few times, before closing her wings and flopping into the pile of pillows, landing on the cat's stomach. She pulled her pack off and tossed it onto her bed, sinking deeper into the cat and the pile of pillows. She watched Argent from her position on top of Ms. Playtime, cuddling the giant stuffed cat. She was already enjoying her new arrangements.

After a moment, Argent found the contact for one of the school maintenance workers, ending a message requesting the removal of the bed. Putting the Scroll away, Argent resumed his decoration, mounting the fur hammock from the upper hooks, and debating how he was going to mount the chair.
For now, he wouldn't bother, and simply walked over to one of the smaller crates, pulling out a leather-bound book and flopping into his desk chair. Cracking open the small, ornately-patterned tome, Argent began reading, before speaking in a rather dull tone. "So, partner, 's an interesting weapon y've got. I take it the wings are for stability as much as they are for looks and Grimm-choppin'? What kinda propulsion system do ya use?"

Ciela bounced up when he started talking to her, eyes narrowing when he didn't use her name. "I have a name, you know. It's Ciela. See-Ell-Ah." She had some doubts about how intimidating she could be since she was currently sitting in a pile of brightly colored overstuffed pillows, clutching a truly massive plush cat. She tried to look scary, but eventually her resolve began to falter and she leaped to her feet, tossing the cat onto her bed and grabbing her weapon.
"Glad you asked I'm super proud of her! Her name is Cloudburst Queen and she uses a Dust booster system, powered primarily by Violet Dust which is also the same stuff in my ribbon!" She turned around to show off her ribbon before throwing the pack onto her back, snapping the wings open and pulling them off to form her greatsword. "I can do this too! The wings mostly serve for stability and control and let me do flips and stuff, but I can still go, just in one direction!" She slipped the wings back onto the pack and snapped the wings closed, putting it back up and leaping back into her pile of pillows, beaming.

"I know what yer name is. I'm just acclimatin' to havin' a partner s'all." Not once did Argent look up from the small book, seeming engrossed in its contents before sighing. "Damn, I thought that function seemed wrong. Gonna have to fix it for the V2." Muttering to himself, he closed the book, setting it down and finally began to acknowledge Ciela completely.
Of course, he didn't expect her to have the weapon out and active, and especially for her to remove the wings and form a large sword with them. It was interesting for sure, but a bit archaic at the same time. It seemed to lack any real ranged features, but he wasn't going to verbally criticize someone's weapon. "Well, y've seen what my Lupus can do, for the most part. There's still some secrets, but you'll hafta wait to see 'em."
