Another long day of learning. Daisy was just glad it was over and she could return to her room and not need to put up with anyone for two whole days. Walking through the housing district was sort of relaxing in a way as it was almost like she could get lost in the crowd. The general busyness with the constant chatter of people walking past. Some heading home, others heading off out most likely for the courtyard. All that she really had in her mind was what chores she had to do over the weekend, that or maybe catching up on the replays of the Vytal Festival. Obviously, she would have her daily run to factor into her weekend plans. Turning off the main street she headed down a small lane that led out into an open square of apartment blocks with a small play park in the middle. On one of the benches that sat slightly in the shadow sat three figures that she knew all too well and really would have rather not seen today. To her, it was upper-class prat and his two lovers, tweedle dumb and tweedle dumber. Some people from Rift she just could not stand at times. Mind you that could be true for all Kingdoms just that Rift to her seemed to have a greater share of idiots. “Oh, look her boys if it is not little miss personal riot herself!” shouted out the lead boy, Gavin Randerhouse, as he stood up from the bench as he stared across the park towards Daisy. A son of some upper-class businessman that Daisy could give even less of a care about. “Oh, if it is not the trio of walking idiots? Must have had bad luck to come across your faces today.” Daisy responded with a soft chuckle as she kept her head down not stopping in her stride for them. “Now why don’t you three move off and bother someone else. Maybe Gavin can ask his dad to buy someone to put with you all for an hour”Gavin had quickly moved to stand directly in her path flanked by his two friends to either side making it impossible for Daisy to pass. Her head raised to see the slightly fuming face of Randerhouse as he looked down on her. Her heart beat started to increase as she now had a smug smirk written across her face which only infuriated Gavin more. “Well, at least I have parents that cares. You are stuck being a daddy’s girl since you don’t even have a mother to love you. Even after that dad of yours booted you here to get rid of you.”As Gavin chuckled with his two friends as they crossed that line once again. They knew that Daisy had a very short temperament when it came to talking about her family especially that of her mother. Her head lowered as her hand reached to grab her baton at her side. Miss personal riot? They were going to remember how she got that name. “What did you say? Arrogant upper-class Rift prick!” she screamed out as her fist clenched as she took a swift upper cut at the unprepared Gavin knocking his back onto the ground as she pulled out her baton as Gavin’s two friends looked on in shock. Pointing her baton at him she got ready for another strike at him. “I am going to beat some damn sense into you!”-------Tag: Rina Elowen

Rina enjoyed the Housing district.
It was a nice little walk through town. Especially on days like today. A nice brisk wind, but not too cold, and a beautiful smell to the air. Rina enjoyed walks like these. They made her life much more enjoyable.
Still, every now and then the thoughts persevered and she could hear the screaming. Her anxiety, constantly reminding her of the mistakes she had made. The memories of--
Wait, these voices were louder. Louder than memories. They almost seemed real. Rina turned her head and she saw the commotion. Three kids picking on a small girl. Schoolhouse antics, she presumed. Still, they were Hunters and Huntresses in training, was better to keep an eye on things. If it got violent, that could spell out disaster.
She heard the older boy's name. Gavin. Easy to remember. She heard the smaller girls insults. Then she heard the bomb drop.
Rina knew better than anyone - if someone has a bad history with their parents for whatever reason, you never bring up the parents. Rina then saw the batons get drawn, and she knew she had to step in.
"Hey", she called out to them. "Don't you kids have something better to do then pick on some poor girl?"
She knew her words would draw attention from all parties. Still, it was better than letting this get out of hand. She turned to face them, happy she had brought her bow with her today.

Daisy had her rage in her eyes as an older woman had appeared to try and break up the fight. The boys were more scared of the new woman who looking at her outfit was a huntress that had stumbled on them. The two lackeys were taken back slightly as they tried to help Gavin up as they looked to make their run away. Scared to face up to the fight they had brought. Well not today, they would not be getting away that easy. “We are sorry for troubling you, we shall be on our way.” Was the groveling apology that they gave as they backed away helping a slightly dazed Gavin to his feet. Daisy tightened her grip on her baton as she moved her stance to prepare for a lunge towards them. Letting them away about mentioning her mother was not going to happen. Did not matter that there was a possible huntress here. That would not stop her. “You are not getting away that easily you filth from Rift!” Daisy screamed as she attempted to drive forward towards them. Her plan was to go in baton first and hit the two idiots before going in to jump on Gavin and punch his face in. It seems the best medicine to cure her rage right now. -------Tag: Rina Elowen

Well, shit.
There goes Rina's relaxing walk through the Housing District. She knew she needed to react. Though she also needed to make sure that the kid wouldn't be hurt.
Still, at least she had a target.
In an instant, she was in front of the red headed girl, and she threw out her arm. Putting it on Daisy's chest, she did nothing more but stop the movement, and she moved her arms to point the weapons down towards the ground.
She smirked, and spoke to the girl.
"Well," she began. "Maybe I should have told you not to worry about them, instead of the other way around."
She turned to the boys who were picking on her, still holding Daisy down.
"You idiots still here? Don't you have some homework? Leave. Now."

In an instant to Daisy felt her chest get abruptly stopped as if she just ran into a wall as her arms were forced directly towards the ground. She let go of her baton as it fell and hit the ground the metallic ringing throughout the enclosed play park. Daisy, a little bit winded from the force of the woman stopping her could only see as the three boys started to scatter sprinting for a nearby alleyway back out to the main streets. Daisy tried to continue her chase of them but was unable to get past the woman that blocked her path. “I am not letting them get away especially after what they said!” Daisy shouted as her as she reached to pick her baton back off the ground. She did not care who it was in front of her, she was not letting those three pricks get away with mouthing off about her mother. Though she knew that is her father was her we would most likely have been the one standing in front of her right now. Seeing as the boys managed to get away she quickly put her baton away. “I would have been fine on my own!”Daisy’s face read her emotions. The frustration, anger and slight rage. She knew that kicking out at the woman that stopped her was only going to result in worse things. She backed of turning away from the woman before she walked over and booted a nearby wall as a way of venting some of her frustration. Why did this woman interrupt her? Did she not think she could handle herself, think that she was that weak? She knew that she was basically held to humiliation after being disarmed and stopped in such a breeze. Almost like a child in a huff, Daisy decided it was best to continue her original trip which was to return home. She moved to step round the woman though even in her fury she still had a look at the bow she had. “If you don’t mind, I shall continue on my trip home if that is ok?”-------Tag: Rina Elowen

Rina watched as the child went through her field of emotions. She listened quietly as Daisy's emotions were expressed. She even watched as Daisy kicked the wall, having to bite her lip to avoid a chuckle. All seemed pretty normal.
"I get it."
That was all she needed to say but she would continue.
"You wanted revenge," she said as she stood up, now looking down at the girl. "Now you're mad at me for not letting you exact it. Makes perfect sense."
She then stepped out of the way.
"Unless you account for the fact that you're a Huntress."
Rina moved over to the wall and tried to speak at the girl's level. She knew she needed to play her words very carefully, but it needed to be done.
"You have an anger problem," she said, knowing it may annoy the child to hear this. "That doesn't suit a Hunter. So how about we talk about this?"

“Talk about it? You really do sound like a teacher. Did they send you to talk to me? Well not that it really matters.” Daisy responded as she took out her baton and pointed it ahead of her, “My skills will more than make up for anything.” She quickly tosses up her baton before catching it and putting it back in her holster. Her posture looked confident in her stance though there was still a still sign of shaking most likely from the anger that still boiled inside her. She quickly fixed her fringe before she headed over to the nearby steps and started to walk up towards the door of her apartment. While part of her just wanted the woman to go away so she could have a relaxing weekend there was still that side of her that wanted to talk to what was most likely a seasoned huntress. Though would she even accept an invitation. At the moment, she just thought of her like everyone else did. A child with an anger problem. “If you want. You can come inside and have a cup of tea. As an apology for causing trouble for a huntress.” Daisy murmured softly back towards the huntress as she was halfway up the stairs. Taking out her key she unlocked the door opening into what was a reasonably small 3 room flat. Though it was almost pristine clean which for someone Daisy’s age might be a bit weird but she was not a girl for mess. Though she was also a person that at times could lack spirit in her decoration as her apartment looked like it was almost still empty with only basic furniture in the living room though she did have a small side box with a little box on the top of it that seemed to stand out from everything else. It was like a jewelry box. Simple white box with gold outlines of flowers on the outside with an engraving of her first name on the latch. Daisy headed straight over to the small kitchen counter and turned on the kettle as she took out two mugs from one of the cupboards. “Please take a seat on one of the couches if you want,” Daisy said now in her normal and far more calm voice as she tossed in some tea bags to the mugs. As the kettle was boiling she went over to the sideboard and in the empty wall mount above it, she took out her two batons and put them in their normal spots. “I am sorry if things are quite plain. I don’t normally have guests. The last person I had here was my father and that would be over two years ago.”-------Tag: Rina Elowen

"A teacher," began Rina, "is something that I am not. However, I'd like to give it at try one day. Maybe teach kids like you about dust. I'm good with dust. Also, inside sounds wonderful. Thank you."
Rina walked inside and found herself surprised by the interior of the house, specifically the jewelry box.
"Being a minimalist is nothing to be ashamed about" said Rina, as she took a seat by the couch. "This place is very clean, and honestly thats enough for me."
She patiently awaited her tea, and found herself staring at the jewelry box.
"That box, however, seems to be a tad out of place," she said. "I'm assuming your father gave it to you?"

She placed her hands on each side of the jewellery box, running her fingers down the wooden exterior after hearing the huntress mention it. “Yes, it is from my father and holds something even more precious to me inside it” Daisy said softly as what was contained inside was only one pendant necklace inside that was the only thing that was of her mother’s. When she turned 18 her father promised that he would finally talk more about what happened to her. She always wanted to know more but the fact her father was waiting could only point to it being maybe news that she did not want to hear. “I am Daisy Evergreen by the way, my father is Taxus Evergreen of Legion though I am not sure if you would know him. You look far younger than my dad is.”As the kettle started to boil she took her hands off the box and walked back over to fill up the mugs with boiling water. Her father has been a teacher once though not for a long part of his career. His tales were always amazing about all the different tales that he had been through his life. Daisy sometimes thought that he was making it all up but maybe her father had been a hunter just that great. Though mentioning his team at the academy or her mother seemed to be the only things that she ever saw him be silent about. Her being here was as he put it the start of her adventure though knowing how it had been so far it was not going exactly as good as his tales. “So, you know about dust? I assume that you must use some form of special arrows with that bow of yours. I try and use it with shells for my batons.” Daisy said with an almost quizzical look as she tried to start a conversation about weapons as she pressed the first teabag against the edge of the cup with a spoon as the liquid started to turn into a darker and fuller shade of the pale brown that it had been. “My dad said I would learn far more about it when I came to Vytal Academy. Well, at least that was one of the reasons that he thought it would be good for me to learn here. Oh, are you going to want milk or sugar?”Daisy started to look around in one of the higher cupboards that she had a challenge reaching to hunt for a box of biscuits that she had put up there. On her tiptoes, she managed to grab it and bring it down to put some biscuits on a plate before going and putting it on the tea table next to the couch as she went back over to get the tea before sitting down. “I guess that it is not that good for me that I am having to apologise to a huntress with tea if you think about it. Dad always said I was too big-headed and undisciplined.” Daily sighed, her posture sulking, as she took a sip of her tea. -------Tag: Rina Elowen

Rina listened closely as Daisy mentioned the box held something from her father. She then heard the name. I guess they hadn't introduced themselve's yet.
"Rina Elowen" she said, "It's a pleasure to meet you Daisy."
She then heard Taxus's name. This caused her to raise an eyebrow.
"You're Taxus' daughter, huh?" This caused her to smile. "Never expected the man to actually settle down. We've met once or twice, never knew each other long enough to consider ourselves friends, but hey. Hunting makes the world smaller. Traveling all over the place, you meet the strangest people. Tell me, is your father doing well?"
She had then listened to Daisy explain the batons and nodded.
"Dust is actually my specialty," she said. "I use it in my arrows for sure, but I just love the stuff. In fact, may be teaching it in the school here coming up soon, if things go well."
She then looked at the tea.
"Sugar, please. Only a little."
As she waited for Daisy to take her seat, Rina grabbed a biscuit, and bit into it, savoring the flavor.
