Legion had broken the bonds of peace, however tenuous they were, between themselves and Rift. The news went worldwide in minutes, and rumors spread within hours. For most, those rumors were without source or substance and quickly faded when fact was presented. For a very small few, however, those rumors held tidbits of information that were markedly relevant considering the circumstance.
No one knows what was to happen in the coming weeks and months, but those movers and shakers of the world set their own pieces in motion that very night, planning and plotting under the cold winter sky to make sure they were in the right place at the right time in the future. And those pieces they set were very adept at gathering information.
A private message appeared in several inboxes of several scrolls late that night. From an unknown source and entirely untraceable, the sender claimed to know a fair bit about a fair many things—including information regarding the princess and her disappearance.
The only caveat: The sender's location pointed at a forest known to be home to creatures of Grimm.

- This is a combat thread.
- You must specify whatever equipment your character has on their person in your first post.
- You are expected to post in the thread at least once per day. If you do not post while there is combat occurring, your post will be skipped and you will suffer one-hundred (100) points of Aura damage. If this reduces you to zero Aura, you will be removed from the thread unconscious. Failure to post in non-combat portions of the thread will simply result in being skipped.
- This episode is expected to last approximately 1 week.
