★ APPEARANCE
Alexandria Steele has dark brown hair that’s short and messy. Her bangs gently rest right over her eyebrows, her sideburns go past her ears and the hair on the back of her head brush against the nape of her neck. Her eyes are sharp and are always focusing on what’s around her. The color is a dark hazel that changes depends on the weather. Alex’s nose is normal sized and her mouth is small. Standing at an average of five feet five inches she wasn’t the tallest or shortest amongst her peers. Her body was toned yet nothing was rippling or flabby, it was clear that she had gone through a life of training and good eating. When not in a school uniform or military uniform Alex was seen in armored boots, pants that allowed room to move and a small top. Her mid-rift was often void of armor and her shoulders, knees, shins, and chest were covered in light armor. Her outfit allowed for protection from lighter weaponry and allowed for her fast and agile movement. On the back of her hip is a red tattered cloth, she has no reason for having it. It’s the only part of her equipment that has no need. Under all the layer of clothes that he wears on her right shoulder is a black tattoo. This tattoo starts at the top of her arm and spans down the side of her arm and shoulder blade. It’s consists of spirals that swirl around her body and each other. On the same shoulder as her tattoo a stab wound once was. There was one scar on the front and back, as though she had been run straight through.
★ PERSONALITY
★ HISTORY
Alexandria Steele was born in the Kingdom of Legion to two low ranking military officers. Tabitha and Nolan Steele were not expecting little Alex, but they loved her with all their hearts. However, love did not stop them from training her to be a productive member of society. After five short years of living a normal childhood her parents started her on combat training. They started off with the basics, endurance training, strength training, things that didn’t require weapons. Alex tried with all her heart but things started off badly. She wasn’t the best at running, push-ups, sit-ups, she could barely keep her balance on a bike. Her parents after some time even considered her doing something else to be a productive member.
They had been talking about it one night when she overheard. “Nolan I don’t think she can handle it. We should try something else, love. She doesn’t have to be a fighter,” her mother didn’t often have soft moments, except when it came to Alexandria. Her father paced the bedroom with his hands behind his back, “But…she’s worked so hard for this. Yes, she keeps failing but never has she once complained.” Tabitha sighed, “I don’t want her doing this anymore. She can’t. She doesn’t complain because she’s a good kid, a good kid I don’t want getting hurt!” They argued for the rest of the night while Alex sat outside the door. She looked at her battered knees and blistered hands. At that moment she knew that she had to give it her all, no matter the pain or how many times she failed. She needed to produce results, be someone productive for society.
Finally after years of training and improvement Alexandria was old enough to join the other students at Vytal Academy. But not only was she old enough, Alex had finally grown strong enough to stand on her own. She wasn’t the best in any of the training, but she could hold her own against Grimm and that was all that mattered. Her first four years were spent getting to know the history of the world. She was also able to learn combat techniques from other kingdoms to which she combined and is perfecting her own battle style, one that was unique. Alex, being the antisocial wallflower that she was, never made any lasting friends, just sparring partners. She found peace when she was battling, until she started to lose that is. Losing meant that she wasn’t producing the results she needed to, losing meant that she was failing not only her parents, but herself. Burning rage would build in her chest once she felt herself losing the battle. Thoughts would go through her head, thoughts that said she was a failure and that she couldn’t do it. When times were really bad and she was on a losing streak the voices would go from strangers voices to those of her parents. She trained day and night, but she learned to just avoid some students because she knew she could never win alone. She felt that if you didn’t try that you wouldn’t need results.
During one of the last sparring sessions in her third year she pushed herself too far. Her Aura had been completely depleted and the boy in front of her was clearly winning. Her need, her desire, her lust for power droned out the instructor telling her to stop. She charged forward towards the boy, who at the time was celebrating his victory. Out of sheer shock he swung his sword at her and stuck Alex. Alexandria remembers watching as the sword plunged through her right shoulder. Blood rolled from the blade and onto the ground. The young man gasped and out of inexperience ripped the blade from Alex. The young huntress in training was used to getting hurt, tripping falling, and receiving blows from enemies that she never expected real combat to hurt. But the pain she felt was like nothing before. It felt like her shoulder was wet, yet on fire along with a sharp pain going straight through. Alex never wanted to feel such pain again, so she started to avoid battles and could have flashbacks during some of her battles. Alexandria was afraid that if she didn’t do something she would never be able to do missions as a huntress.
During her fourth year at the academy she went and got an illegal tattoo, which so far had been the only illegal act she had ever done. Alexandria felt that breaking the law was to never be done, but this was for the right reason. She covered her shoulder and the scar on the back with a dark black tattoo, but she kept the front part visible. As a reminder that she’s not where she wants to be just yet. She’s not strong enough, powerful enough, she has yet to get to her goal. Her goal of being able to produce whatever results people expected of her. To not only make her parents proud, but to do her service to her Kingdom and the world. During this fourth year she finally discovered her semblance. It was during one of her rage moments. She was slashing and punching at a dummy and it wasn’t taking damage. She was furious with herself and with one last jumping attack she thought about putting everything and more into her final attack. She never that it was pointless, her attacks weren’t meant to inflict heavy blunt damage, but cutting damage instead. But she brought her arm down with all her being. Before the dummy had been registering about fifty pounds of pressure from her blows. But this attack, this final swing of her arm created an attack that delivered over one hundred pounds of pressure. After that night she began practicing with her new ability, hoping that it would give her the edge during battles.
Now after all this hard work and training she’s finally about to start her freshman year at Vytal.

★ COMBAT NOTES
WEAPONS
Alexandria’s style of combat is close range hand-to-hand. While she’s adept at it most enemies need more than a few good punches to go down. Adorning her forearms are gauntlets that cover her from the bottom of her elbow to the tips of her knuckles. The plated steel gauntlets have cloth and mechanisms on them to help it blend a little more nicely into her outfit. Inside the top of the gauntlets are a set of long blades that are equal to the length of her forearms. These blades can be exchanged out for things like cleaning, oiling, sharpening, or just a replacement. She normally carries two straight double edged blades that are meant for slashing and piercing. Sometimes she carries two blades that are jet black, with serrated edges. These blades are meant for ripping and tearing. On the underside of her gauntlets are small pockets that hold pieces of dust crystal. Whenever she sheathes and unsheathes her blades she has the ability to engulf the blade in dust resulting in elemental abilities. Fire leads to flames on the blade, water wets the blades, earth leaves the blades covered in a thick layer of dust, and she has yet to understand what wind does to her blades. Along with her gauntlets Alexandria cares two knives with her that are tucked away in her boots.
MISC.
Alex was trained to be as efficient as possible in both war and in life. She has started a habit of always carrying a pen and notebook with her. On her hip is a small pouch that contains some pain meds, a whetstone, and lastly a lucky coin. A coin her family gave her before she left for the academy. If she’s carrying a backpack in it is always provisions of some sort, usually granola bars for energy and a water. Along with that is a scroll with all of her family’s contact in it. On her normally is enough dust for four attacks, assuming she uses a dust crystal on each blade together. However in her back pack in a backup set of four allowing her to use her attacks four more times.
When activated Alexandria’s semblance glows a soft blue color, and others have told her that she smells like the weather right before it started to rain. Her auras ability is mending which allows her to heal minor injuries with a simple touch. She normally doesn’t use this because it drains quite a bit of her energy. Her own aura is affected as well, slightly depleting with every use. It’s an ability she can only use a few times a day, and again only on minor scrapes and bruises.
Alter Gravity
Alter gravity is the name of Alex’s semblance. It allows for her to alter the gravity of her own body. For instance she can lessen gravity to make her body heavier, or making her body heavier by increasing gravity’s effect. She can effect anything from a single finger up to her entire body, and only external parts. However, her power is not all mighty or extremely powerful, it does have its draw backs. Her semblance put a massive strain on her body. She can only handle certain attacks a few times, and she can only handle low gravity for a short time period. When attack if she’s jumping down onto an opponent and alters the gravity in her fist she can deal almost twice as much damage. However twice as much damage comes back to her as well, making this ability a double edged sword. For some jumps she can lessen the gravity on her body at the moment her jump starts to propel herself a little further. Alexandria can only use her semblance six times on her arms, four times on her life, and twice on her entire body. Once she uses it on her limbs she experiences mild fatigue, however if she uses it on all of her body twice she ends up in a state of unconsciousness. This final full body gravity is a last ditch effort that she’s only used twice.
