PLAYED BY Lord Monotone AGE: Twenty-Four (24) BIRTH: March (3) | SEX: Male OCCUPATION: Mercenary for hire RACE: Human | |
Krieg Zinnfalle |
★ APPEARANCE
While he normally can be found with his titanium suit of armour called The Clockwerk Warengine, he does not walk around in the half ton suit all the time. Most of the time the chestplate, legs, gauntlets, and Flack Cannon pauldron regardless of where he goes as the rest can be thrown on in a matter of seconds. The suit is grey with red, blue, and gold highlights accenting across the armour. The rest of his clothes are a dark grey blue coat and hood, light grey scarf, and black pants. His hair is short and grey, pulled back into a ponytail with thick black circular glasses.
★ PERSONALITY
★ HISTORY
The son of the son of a watchmaker, Krieg was many years apprenticed to that trade before the Grimm rode down from the mountains and swept the plains villages free of such innocent vocations. “Your new trade is hunting,” his dying father told him as the village of their ancestors lay in charred and smoking ruins.
It is a poor tradesman who blames his tools, and Krieg was never one to make excuses. After burying his father among the ruins of their village, he set about to transform himself into the greatest tool of warfare that any world had ever seen. He vowed to never again be caught unprepared, instead using his talents to assemble a suit of powered Clockwerk armor to make the knights of other lands look like tin cans by comparison. Now Krieg is alive with devices - a deadly warrior whose skills at ambush and destruction have risen to near-automated levels of efficiency. An artisan of death, his mechanizations make short work of the unwary, heralding a new dawn in this age of warfare.
He trained with his new deathtrap for years pushing himself to become stronger and faster then the average man, this training however he never trained himself in Auras or Semblance. Of course, he spent his time learning about them, by using Dust and The Clockwerk Engine he is able to mildly control what little power he has.
He found the pack of Grimm that destroyed his village later in his life only to then completely annihilate the pack in it's entirety. Finally the revenge burning in his eyes had subsided he lost himself, now seeking to merely finds himself in a state of dull and emptiness after all, finding himself in this new trade he began to question what was morally sound. Was his survival and continuation of his legacy more important then those that employed him and his creation of terror, or perhaps those who stood in the way of his machine were nothing more then the unworthy that failed to make the right choices to survive.

★ COMBAT NOTES
WEAPONS
His "weapon" is a suit of armour, appropriately named The Clockwerk Warengine. It was enhanced though steam engineering and clockwork technology. The metal plating is comprised completely out of titanium causing the suit of armour to weigh nearly half a ton, however this means that the suit is unphased to all mundane forms of weaponry. While incredibly strong and durable, movement in the suit is so heavily restricted that only a madman would even dare try to fight in it. Lucky for anyone wearing the suit, the mechanisms in the suit provide just enough mobility to walk around without much effort, any thing faster would require someone of great strength to speed up the suits slow but self propelling movements. Having such a immovable suit of armour could also be seen as a gift, as crushing, piercing, or cutting though it will be extraordinarily difficult, even forcing the suit to move unwillingly is nigh impossible. There are several attachments to the suit that provide offensive options.
Chaingun: A nine barrel spin up chaingun used as the Primary Weapon for The Clockwerk Warengine fires standard M74 rounds at a rate of 1000 RPM and will extinguish a clip in mere seconds at top speed.
Flamer: Mounted on the left wrist of the suit and attached to one of two canisters filled with Fire Dust. It can throw the flames out about ten feet in front of the muzzle.
Combat Shotgun: This two barrel specialized Combat Shotgun fires 12 Gauge 00 Buckshot rounds which have a tight spread and fairly high range for one of it's kind, however this much force on one barrel causes the gun to have a very high recoil making subsequent shots harder to land.
Heavy Assault Rifle: Strapped to his left side within easy reach, this rifle fires the standard M34 rounds at a moderately slow rate for an automatic rifle of about 750 RPM. Four clips of his Incendiary Rounds are special suited for quick loading into this weapon, more can be loaded afterwards however it will take more time.
Flack Cannon: A shoulder mounted explosives launcher, these ammunition can be filled with various combinations of dust to do a multitude of tasks. These range from lighting up the sky with a blinding flashbang flare using Energy Dust or blanketing an area in ice and snow with Ice Dust. Fire Dust Capsule use a grapeshot to 9 individual rockets explosive to target a large area with one rocket while Kinetic Dust can be loaded into a Capsule for a high velocity and highly explosive rocket. Up to three flares can be loaded into the launcher at a time, then the tool must be reloaded before it can be used again.
The Clockwerk Warengine:
MISC.
He possesses a hook welded to a long, durable chain attached to a wench on his back. Using the wench he can pull anything hooked that is lighter then he, and his armour. is to himself. He also carries on him 64 dust cartridges that all have universal use with his clockwerk weaponry. They are split into 24 Fire Dust Incendiary Rounds, 24 Glass Dust Full Metal Jacket Rounds, and 16 Energy Dust Concussive Rounds.
Strapped to his back are a number of large canisters filled with Dust. The largest of them is filled with Steam Dust which is mostly used to power the The Clockwerk Engine suit, the large amount of dust is very concerning to most as if one false move sets it off, no one is sure how much would be destroyed in the blast. Two others are filled with Fire Dust one attached to the Flamer and the other is attached to the suit's boots.
He carries on him a standard issue Mark V Pistol and a Titanium reinforced Chainsaw both are simple and are unmodified by his aura or semblance. He is always sure to keep at least up to 48 rounds of ammo on him for the pistol and the chainsaw to have an extra battery pack.
The boots of The Clockwerk Warengine use a quick burst of Fire Dust to provide a small boost to jumping, Up to seven feet can be cleared with relative ease.
Seeing as Krieg never received a single day of formal training in the arts of Aura or Semblance, he does not have many abilities he is aware of however it does not mean he does not have them. His aura if detected is small and not very prominent, if detected though it feels dull as though someone expelled all concern for his or her emotions. It's grey and empty, devoid of sadness or anger though no joy or excitement.
Sadism: Offensive Enhancement - While under the effects of this Enhancement Krieg burns off some of his own vitality to increase the damage of his weapons. He does feel the pain, it's not stopped by his Aura, from using this and could kill himself if he pushes too far. Though no physical harm will come to his body it certainly does have painful repercussions if used for extended periods of time.
Masochism: Defensive Enhancement - This is a power that occurs randomly when Krieg's body is being injured. In the occasions it does occur it allows Krieg to shrug off the pain he'd feel from such injuries. It does not repair or prevent the injury, it merely allows him to continue doing whatever he was doing previously without feeling the pain.
Overdrive - Heated and Coolant
Given that Krieg's knowledge and practice with his Aura is so limited his semblance is mostly channeled through The Clockwerk Warengine. Overdrive comes in two halves: Heated, the offensive half, and Coolant, the defensive half. Only one half of the semblance can be active at a time.
Heated - While using this his Defensive Auras no longer can be used and only one weapon can be active at a time. The fire rate of all weapons linked to The Clockwerk Warengine and the ground movement speed are increased in strength based on how much closer he is to dying. While under the effects of Heated, both his Aura and Vitality slowly begin to deplete, anyone capable of sensing auras could easily tell this half of his semblance would be slowly killing him.
Coolant - This half of the Semblance is much like it's twin, Offensive Auras cannot be used while in this state nor can he use any of the weaponry linked to The Clockwerk Warengine, this limits him to the Mark V Pistol and Chainsaw. Movement is heavily restricted even further then normal however his vitality and Aura slowly increase by absorbing the surrounding Dust, either from attacks or naturally occurring dust in the nearby environment. This will not heal physical wounds however it will stop the bleeding in an area.
