★ APPEARANCE
Koyo is a bit short standing at about 5'3" in height. Koyo's build is designed to be lithe and graceful and not for strength a fact that she both acknowledges and accepts about herself. Her skin is a bit pale and a bit rough due to the life she's lead leading up to this point being covered in smalls scars, and calluses mainly on her arms, hands and legs. Koyo has a tattoo running up the center of her back from the base of her spine up to her shoulders that she received when she was 16 years old. The design is quite complex and was given to her as a "Gift.". She also has another tattoo that she received more recently on her right arm of a King Taijitu coiling around her arm with the two heads crossing at the top of her shoulder.
Koyo's hair is a dark color somewhere between a dark red and purple color in hue. Her is a bit long reaching down to her upper back when undone from the tails she often keeps it in. Most of the time her hair is often styled with two high pig tails with two long bangs hanging down in the front framing her face. Her eyes are a bit narrow and are a darker amber color. She doesn't wear much make up as she often doesn't like to waste too much time applying it but when she does so it often consists of just a bit of eyeliner and some eye shadow. Koyo's face can be described to be sort of heart shaped if just a bit narrow. Her nose is a bit rounded and her mouth a bit on the smaller sized with thin pursed lips. She also has very pronounced eyelashes and thin eyebrows and ears that are a bit on the smaller side.
Clothing-wise Koyo tends to dress professionally often wearing pantsuits and business blouses and skirts. Though she also recognizes the need to do her own dirty work at times and that business isn't exactly the best attire for such activities. When conducting business Koyo's clothing consists of a white long sleeved shirt and a dark grey waistcoat along with a pair of black suit pants with a black leather belt and black leather shoes with a slightly raised heel. She also wears a brown shoulder holster harness with a holster beneath each arm fitted for her personal firearms. On her belt she also possesses pouches designed to hold moon clips for her revolvers along with a black leather sheath for her knife.
If she anticipates entering a messy situation Koyo's clothing choices tend to lean toward a more casual style consisting of a white sleeveless shirt with a red puff vest worn over it with a pair of black canvas cargo pants held up by a black leather belt with a pair of black hiking boots. On her belt she possesses two holsters one in a right cross draw holster and another in a left strong side holster on her hip. She also has numerous pouches lining her right side to carry moon clips for quick reloading along with a sheath on the back of her belt for her knife along with a pouch for loose ammunition. She also wears a pair of black leather shooting gloves.

The town Koyo lived in wasn't very vital to the Kingdom's survival and there were hundreds of others just like it spread throughout the kingdom. As such the standards of living were incredibly low and the support from the Kingdom itself was even lower. It wasn't rare for people to disappear or for Grimm to attack the town with only it's meager militia to defend it. And with this state of living it was uprising that Koyo was able to live the life she did for so long. From the moment she was born Koyo lived a fulfilling life with her parents not a rich or comfortable one but she had what she needed to live and parents who loved her and for a time that was more than sufficient for her.
However the life she knew would not last the lives many in the town led was poor with many living day to day with meager rations to support themselves whilst the Kingdom took what everything else. Many in the village lived depressing lives working each and every day with no hope of achieving anything else. This led to bouts of depression, anger and jealousy of those who lived in the larger cities of Legion. And all of these negative emotions only served to bait the Grimm that lurked in the darkness waiting to strike. One day the Kingdom raised the quota on the agricultural towns leading to a swathe of Grimm attacks far worse than anything seen in the past. This event would later be known as "The Autumn Tragedy." Due to the negative emotions rising amongst the populace of the agriculture towns swarms of Grimm swept across the countryside destroying all in their path.
With the massive rise in Grimm activity Legion struggled to properly deploy it's military to all the locations that required aid. Koyo's town was one of the many towns wiped out by the Grimm. That night was a complete blur to Koyo all she could remember was gunfire and screaming and the horrific roars of Grimm as they rampaged through town killing and destroying everything in their path. And by the time the military had arrived the town had been razed in the militia's failed attempt to contain the Grimm. Koyo was found the day after the tragedy hiding under her bed with her parents nowhere to be found. She and other refugees of the attacks were then brought to major city centers across Legion, Adults were allowed to resettle into new lives whilst children like Koyo were sent to orphanages around the kingdom.
With the sudden influx of orphans numerous orphanages found themselves filled to burst with parent-less children with limited resources to care for all of them despite their best efforts. This led to many children choosing grow quicker striking it out on their own instead of relying on the Kingdom to care for them. Something many of the less reputable elements of the Kingdom's society immediately noticed and took advantage of. After the Autumn Tragedy organized crime throughout the Kingdom skyrocketed as many refugees turned to criminal syndicates to meet their needs where the Kingdom could not. Koyo was one of these many refugees who chose this option. With the large amount of people down on their luck flooding the cities. Koyo was picked up along with many other children to become a smuggling mule a child used to transport illegal merchandise in order to escape suspicion from authorities.
In this life many children were either forced into it or chose it for themselves. Koyo was one of the latter seeing no other option for herself other than to give herself over to a kingdom that had already failed her twice. Once to defend her and her loved ones and again to take care of her when she needed it to. Whilst working for the crime syndicates Koyo learned much such as how to tell a believable lie, How to outrun and hide from the police. How to fight. And as time passed Koyo continued to learn more and more slowly becoming less of an tool and more of an asset. By the time Koyo was 16 years old she'd learned far more than most of the others who'd grown up alongside her. She was trusted with more and given more.
No longer was she just a tool to move around product, She was a trusted associate of the syndicate. It is at this point where Koyo truly began to develop into the woman she is today. Working for the syndicate Koyo acted on the orders of one of the syndicates main lieutenants a male faunus who went by the name of "Haram." Haram was the man in charge of a variety of different activities the two main ones being arms and dust smuggling two things that often went hand in hand together. Under Haram Koyo learned a great deal about the arms and dust smuggling market such as how to identify reliable suppliers and how to negotiate the right price to make a higher profit. Koyo learned quickly and soon became one of Haram's most trusted associates and in return Koyo trusted Haram like family.

But more importantly Koyo felt satisfied with her life even if she wasn't on the right side of law and order. She had a home and friends and all she needed to live her life on her own terms. But seemingly like all most other things in her life the good was never really meant to last. One day whilst Koyo had been tasked with organizing a major dust shipment to Rift she received a message from other members of the syndicate warning her of police raids taking place all across the city.
Koyo barely managed to escape capture as Legion Law Enforcement stormed the warehouse she'd been conducting her business in her escape Koyo completely obliterated the warehouse and her pursuers by triggering and explosion with the raw volatile dust she had been in the process of shipping. After escaping from the authorities Koyo fled the city and soon learned of the raids that had gone on across the city specifically targeting members of her syndicate. Once again brought back to square one Koyo immediately set about getting in touch with every one of her contacts as possible to try to reestablish herself and find out what exactly had happened. Koyo managed to put together a small group of associates and get product moving again all the while investigating what exactly had led to the downfall of her the syndicate.
In time as Koyo continued to conduct business her influence slowly began to expand making new contacts both in the criminal and civil community. Inching closer to the one responsible for the rewind her life had taken. Finally Koyo discovered who had betrayed the syndicate that person had been someone she had trusted "Haram." Through her contacts she'd discovered that Haram had really been an undercover investigator for the Kingdom of Legion's law enforcement forces having been in deep cover long before Koyo had ever come to work under him. Koyo felt many things hurt, sadness, betrayal, but most of all she was angry. Angry that someone she had trusted had just robbed her of everything. Angry that he'd betrayed the trust she sparingly gave him.
Though Koyo was not hasty with her vengeance she waited, Building up her resources and business slowly spreading her influence further and further until it encompassed beyond Legion stretching out to all four kingdoms of Remnant. When she finally came for Haram nothing could stop her and he wasn't surprised to see her either when she finally arrived. In the end Koyo carried out her revenge executing Haram in cold blood. After killing Haram Koyo continues to oversee her own syndicate one that Haram himself had taught her to create. Currently Koyo makes a majority of her money profiting from the conflict brewing between the four kingdoms of Remnant and the Cult of Saint Ash.

Dust and Ashes

Dust and Ashes are two revolvers that Koyo utilizes as her primary means of defending herself. Both weapons are designed exactly the same save for their finish one being nickel finish whilst the other has a blued finish. Both weapons utilize a unique design with the barrel of each weapon being located in a 6 o'clock position firing rounds from the bottom of the cylinder instead of the top like a standard revolver. This allows for the fitting of a barrel weight on the top of the weapon where a standard 12 o'clock barrel would be located allowing Koyo to fire more accurately due to the weight bearing down on the barrel reducing the kick of the firearm when fired. Each revolver possesses a 6 round cylinder chambered for rounds custom designed for the firearm. Also rather than utilizing a swing out cylinder the weapon features a break open design triggered by a thumb release on the inward sides of each gun. This allows Koyo to empty and reload either gun with relative ease as once the action is open the weapon immediately ejects all cartridges from the cylinder.
Both pistols possess heavy steel alloy 5 inch barrels with polygonal rifling. They also possess ergonomic rubber grips measure fitted to fit perfectly in Koyo's hands. Both firearms are made from steel alloy treated to reduce erosion and general wear and tear on the weapon while also maintaining a reasonable weight when paired with the barrel weights on both weapons. Both pistols have trench style fixed sights allowing for quick target acquisition. Both weapons are chambered for a custom round that Koyo over the years has learned to make herself. The rounds are around the diameter of a .50 action express cartridge but possess a longer casing and bullet. The longer casing allows for a larger propellant charge as well as the capability of more specialized ammunition. Koyo has modified the trigger pull of Dust and Ashes to make them easier and quicker to fire the standard trigger pull whilst Koyo uses her revolvers in single action sits at a standard 4 lbs. Koyo to use her weapons with ease has modified the double action trigger pull to somewhat mirror this manipulating the weapon's internal trigger mechanism to have a pull weight of about 6 lbs for easier shooting.
The top of each revolver also features a hollow section in the middle of the barrel weight that can be accessed through by manipulating the upper cover of the barrel weight forward revealing a chamber designed to accept capsules of dust. This chamber serves to administer a small coating of dust to the inside of the barrel after each firing. When fired the propellant burn of each firing burns the dust inside the barrel to the round as it exits the barrel applying the dust's effects to the round as it leaves the barrel and also serving as an activator for the dust as well. Each weapon when fully loaded weighs about 4.5 pounds in weight to about 5.1 when fully loaded. Koyo keeps about 16 moon clips of ammunition on her person each moon clip holding 6 rounds for either weapon giving her a total 96 rounds to utilize in combat 108 if the rounds pre-loaded into the cylinders before combat are counted. The moon clips are kept on her belt in specialized holders. She can also utilize a variety of different ammunition some of these ammunition types are listed below.
Armor Piercing Hollow Point (APHP): Armor Piercing Hollow Points combine two types of ammunition simply so Koyo doesn't have to carry the two types separately. The round is designed with the main projectile being a hardened tungsten penetrator housed in a steel jacket. The tungsten penetrator is capable of piercing a 3 inch plate of steel. After striking the target the penetrator continues through the target whilst the steel jacket surrounding it expands outward causing damage to soft tissue.
High Explosive (HE): High Explosive ammunition utilizes a reduced propellant charge giving it less velocity. The main body of the cartridge is elongated and packed with plastic explosives with a contact fuse housed in the head of the round. When fired the round detonates upon impact with the target. The round is useful for crowds of unarmored enemies but has limited effectiveness on more armored targets.
Armor Piercing Sabot (APS): APS rounds are designed similarly to APHP rounds except instead of a tungsten penetrator the round features a standard cartridge with a sub caliber tungsten flechette set in the center. Upon impact the flechette penetrates the armor of the target whilst the cartridge behind it expands and flattents pushing the tungsten flechette deeper. This round is very useful on heavily armored targets but are a bit limited in the damage it can actually inflict.
Dust Rounds (DS): Dust rounds are constructed like basic cartridges but have a hollow elongated projectile that houses a reservoir of dust with a small plastic explosive charge at the base of the projectile that is wired to a contact fuse housed in the head of the round. When the round strikes the target the plastic explosive is detonated obliterating the body of the round and dispersing the and triggering the dust housed inside. Depending on the dust used this can have a variety of effects.

Armor Piercing Hollow Point (APHP): Armor Piercing Hollow Points combine two types of ammunition simply so Koyo doesn't have to carry the two types separately. The round is designed with the main projectile being a hardened tungsten penetrator housed in a steel jacket. The tungsten penetrator is capable of piercing a 3 inch plate of steel. After striking the target the penetrator continues through the target whilst the steel jacket surrounding it expands outward causing damage to soft tissue.
High Explosive (HE): High Explosive ammunition utilizes a reduced propellant charge giving it less velocity. The main body of the cartridge is elongated and packed with plastic explosives with a contact fuse housed in the head of the round. When fired the round detonates upon impact with the target. The round is useful for crowds of unarmored enemies but has limited effectiveness on more armored targets.
Armor Piercing Sabot (APS): APS rounds are designed similarly to APHP rounds except instead of a tungsten penetrator the round features a standard cartridge with a sub caliber tungsten flechette set in the center. Upon impact the flechette penetrates the armor of the target whilst the cartridge behind it expands and flattents pushing the tungsten flechette deeper. This round is very useful on heavily armored targets but are a bit limited in the damage it can actually inflict.
Dust Rounds (DS): Dust rounds are constructed like basic cartridges but have a hollow elongated projectile that houses a reservoir of dust with a small plastic explosive charge at the base of the projectile that is wired to a contact fuse housed in the head of the round. When the round strikes the target the plastic explosive is detonated obliterating the body of the round and dispersing the and triggering the dust housed inside. Depending on the dust used this can have a variety of effects.

This section should include all everything your character uses that isn't explicitly tied to their weapon. This can include, but is not limited to; extra Dust, sidearms, miscellaneous equipment, and more. You do -not- need to include anything that isn't generally carried on their person (for example, a winter cloak would not have to be included here, and in that case it should probably go in your APPEARANCE section).

Describe your character's Aura. This should include things like its color, the feeling it gives off, any smells. Additionally, if applicable to your character, you should include what kind of AURA ABILITIES they are capable of using. Students get one (1) Aura Ability for their current year, graduating with four abilities they choose to harness over the course of their studies.
