Shani has a rather profound fascination with modular weapons, having spent most of her childhood around a weapon that her mother had stolen during her years as a white fang member. Something about the movement of the parts to create something new fascinated her. She also has a very vested interest in her own career choice, not being aligned to any one kingdom-which allows her to help in every kingdom. But, perhaps the one interest of hers that puts her at odds with most people from Legion is that she very much believes in equality for all faunus, in all kingdoms. And yet, she is not in the white fang, even slightly. And yet, her biggest interest is something that many would not expect from her: Making Clothing and Armor. Before and during her span at Vytal Academy, Shani spent a lot of her free time outside of classes doing repair work on both her own clothing and the clothing of her team and her friends in general. Eventually, her skill with clothing became so high that regular cloth just didn't challenge anymore, so she moved onto leather, which she has struggled and gained a good amount of skill with during the years after her time at Vytal Academy. All in all though, Shani is a woman with a rather large variety of interests, making her a very interesting woman.




Hates

There is not much that Shani actively hates, but of the few things she hates, the most notable piece of hatred would be of the White Fang, which seems counter-intuitive, but there are reasons behind this. First and Foremost, she believes that the problems that most Faunus face nowadays can be solved without the use of violence, or without the need of a fanatical group. Of course, she only sees the White Fang as a fanatical group because of her time being targeted by a particular member of the White Fang for something her mother did. While not a true level of hatred, Shani very much dislikes the idea of heavy armor, despite wielding a weapon that-historically-was used alongside very heavy sets of armor. According to her, it is because she likes the ability to dart around the battlefield, utilizing speed to her advantage. Aside from this, she has a notable distaste for firearms, in spite of finding a pair of pistols that she finds quite suitable. Part of this is owed to her training with the tribe of Faunus that taught her the basics of fighting. They made a point of avoiding firearms, stating how they were a "dishonorable choice of firearm"..at least, her favorite teacher said that quite a lot. As such, she tries her best to avoid firearms, utilizing dust or other ranged weaponry as much as possible.


Loves

Love. It is a very..touchy subject for some. For Shani, it has many meanings. She has a very real platonic love for all the members of her old team in Vytal Academy, even if they didn't always get along. However, in terms of romantic love, she has had a few, all of the female variety. In her own words, she doesn't have an eye for men in a romantic setting. Currently however, she is not in a relationship, and is somewhat open to the idea of being in one, provided she wouldn't have to constantly worry about her significant other being unable to protect herself. Other than that, she has a very definite love for canines, given that she feels a sort of kindred bond between them and herself. And she also has a love for kittens, strangely enough.
