HISTORY~RULES~AVAILABILITY~HOME
Welcome to New Benden Weyr. This is an AU DRoP game. It is turn 1056, Thread hasn't been seen for 240 turns. There is no long interval here, Jaxom, F'lar and Lessa wont be born.
The illness had swept through the planet fast. Even the remote outpost Weyrs had fallen victim, the dragons and riders alike succumbing to the deadly plague. Humans, flits, dragons, whers, they all fell. Dying a slow painful death. Now the last twenty-five dragons and a population of a few hundred is all that is left.
Three bronze, five browns, eight blues and nine greens. That was it! Gone were the days when the dragons ruled the planet, now they were a dying breed, extinction loomed. The greens had clutched, but each clutch had failed, they had all chewed firestone, there was no hope. They were the last twelve.
Surviving in what used to be Benden Weyr, they live day to day, scavenging for supplies, working the fields and trying to round up any wild herd beasts or wherries, but the plague wiped out pretty much all life on the planet. It is a hard existence.
Things looked bad, the Red Star was a constant reminder in the sky, small for now, but people knew it would continue to get bigger until the dreaded enemy was once more in their skies. But how could they hope to fight it, let alone survive when there were so few dragons, and even less food? It looked as if these few were the last of a dying race.
UPDATE: WHATS HAPPENED SINCE
A surprise clutch appeared and hatched revealing new colors. And Green Quadraeth actually clutched and her clutch hatched healthy dragons.
