Thanatos sat at his desk looking down at a worn journal with his usual emotionless expression, within the text were scribbles made to resemble Grimm and their anatomy, comparing it to that of the books provided by the academy for the Grimm studies class he was currently attending. The Faunus' ears perked up when he found discrepancies between that of his personal studies and that of a refined textbook, he grabbed the writing utensil from his desk and moved to make changes to his journal. He scratched out the error and went to write in the correction but his pen drew no ink, after trying for a minute or two e put the pen down and went to searching for another within the desk he was sitting at, "Why does this always happen?" he asked himself quietly as he checked the other pens within the desk with no avail. Thanatos sighed and closed his eyes, 'I'm going to have to see if anyone else has one that works' he thought to himself, sitting with his eyes closed for another moment, picking and choosing through who in his class might have a spare.
