Calling today a bad day might have been an understatement. Waking up late, just making it on time for her first lecture, baton jamming in practice and that is before the usual characters that she had to tolerate of a daily basis. Her day could not have gone much worse. If she was to one day fight in the Vytal Festival she would need to improve a lot. Or even just the fact that this was her last year as an underclassman and she would finally hit the real training. Though she does still get the threats that if the fighting continues that she will not be able to even get that far. It was just so frustrating! Daisy knew that she could do it and that in a fight she was sure to go toe to toe with any first year. Lunch time came at the right moment today. Finally, a time that could be a break from her rough morning and maybe recover the rest of the day. That is what she thought at least as she carried her tray over to an empty table. A portion of jelly, salad with dressing and a drink. Nothing too fancy today so should be a peaceful and relaxing lunch in the canteen. Well apart from walking past the people that she can’t tolerate in her class but them aside make it a nice and relaxing experience. Suddenly, she felt her foot catch onto something. The edge of a chair leg that was sticking out was to be the continuing of her downfall of what had been a bad morning now looking to be an around bad day. The tray hit the ground first followed quickly by Daisy’s face which landed right in the middle of the jelly. She could hear some of the laughter that was directed at her from those that saw or rather heard her fall. Grumbling under her breath she moved to pick herself off the ground only to be covered in blue jelly along with some of her salad. "Ugh the fall of jello sucks. But it's not as bad as slipping on a banana peel its one of the most embarrassing things to happen to me in school." Lux's voice spoke up from behind the girl who'd just recently fallen. She'd happen to be collecting her own lunch when a not so graceful fall into jello took place right before her very eyes. Admittedly it took a lot to not laugh at it honestly if the girl proves to be ok she might just be able to laugh about it later but com decency takes precedence of hilarity. "But hey kiddo you alright? I got some napkins if you need 'em." Lux offered with her hand an absurd bundle of napkins towards the red haired girl. "Also we should probably get you to the bathroom so you can dampen these." The lavender haired girl added as she offered the napkins and set her own tray of food down. Jello in her hair, salad lease stuck to her by the dressing along with her drink spilled down her. It was safe to say that Daisy was far from looking great. Getting back up with her tray she quickly slammed it down on a nearby empty table only to finally realise that the girl that had been walking behind her was talking to her. Her mind was not really thinking straight, her eyesight still a bit dazed from her faceplant even if the jello had lessened the impact of the fall by a small fraction. If the world wanted to swallow her up today, then could it get it over with without all the embarrassments. "But hey kiddo you alright? I got some napkins if you need 'em."As her eyesight started to come to, she saw the taller girl standing what was a large stack of napkins most likely trying to hold in the laughing. Daisy had no bet that she would want to be joining in with the rest of the canteen in laughing at her fall. Her hands clenched as she almost softly grabbed some of the napkins and started to pat down the parts of her uniform that had got the juice spilled over it. “Thank you, but I don’t like to be called kiddo. I might be an underclassman and not that tall but I am not a kid!” Daisy responded annoyed as she picked out some jello from her hair and flung it on her tray. "Also we should probably get you to the bathroom so you can dampen these."Daisy gruntingly agreed, still embarrassed by the whole thing. She did not even respond as she started to head towards the exit of the canteen to head to the bathrooms down the hall. She was at least not dripping from the juice spill though she was running her hands through her hair as she walked feeling the jello tangled in her short red hair. “Eww, this is going to be such a pain to get out. Will be glad when this day is over.” Daisy said as kicked open the door to the bathrooms before walking in. -------Tag: Lux Album |

"Little vinegar and a little detergent should help you soak the stains out of your clothes, as for your hair I'm sure good wash can get this stuff out of your hair," Lux spoke up once again as she entered the bathroom after the obviously more than annoyed undergrad. Taking her time and turning the tap on to warm Lux ran a few napkins under the sink faucet to dampen the paper and set them on the side of the sink for whenever the redhead was ready to use them. " And I'm gonna keep calling you kiddo till I get a proper name cause I'm short on nicknames that don't seem like they'd piss you off. Well, unless you don't mind being called Jello girl." Lux replied late to the comment on her not being a kid with a snicker and a smile. "Feel free to call me Lux by the way." With most of the napkins dampened enough to get the salad dressing and jello off of the girls clothing, Lux took a step away from the sink and rested onto the next one over. "You'll probably want to put your head under the sink now though so that stuff doesn't get too sticky either that tends to suck if you leave it in to clump for the rest of the day," Lux stated as she leaned back in to pick out some of the bigger pieces of lettuce from the smaller girl's hair. Was she trying to mock her? This Lux girl seemed almost too happy to Daisy. Did she have an agenda or something? Daisy really could not tell though she was not going to put up with the choice of nicknames that the taller girl presented to her. Picking up one of the wet napkins Daisy started by washing her face as she let out a soft sigh still staring into the mirror but having her eyes look at the girl behind her. “Name is Daisy. Daisy Evergreen, Underclassman Fourth Year.” Daisy answered in almost a serious militaristic tone though her face was starting to blush ever so slightly red. “I…thank you for helping me.”This was an odd occasion. Daisy apologised! Was it maybe her initial rage calming down or just that she realised that it was most likely just her fault that she faceplanted into her lunch. She turned the tap on to run some warm water as she lowered her head into the sink. Feeling the warm hair as it flowed through her hair with some of it running down her forehead as she used her hand to break up the jello from her hair. “Today has not been my finest day.” Daisy sighed as with her spare hand took another wet napkin as started to wipe down her shirt, “Should have known that this was going to go badly after waking up late.”-------Tag: Lux Album |

"Alright, Daisy sorry to meet you while you had food on your face and what not but hows about we change this day into something a little more enjoyable. Wanna go grab a bite from one of the stands in the festival grounds? I'll treat."With late introductions out of the way and Daisy almost cleaned up Lux thought it appropriate to shake the ole olive branch of friendship in the girls face hopefully brighten her day a bit. "Oh but only one thing. Gotta be specific when most people in this school could eat a small fortune away which is something I don't have." Lux added on with a chuckle as she played with her hair in the mirror attempting to keep one strand from fraying away from the rest.  Tag: Daisy Evergreen

Daisy finished cleaning herself up the best she could before she looked up seeing Lux fixing her hair in the reflection of the bathroom mirror. The girl had offered to go get a bite to eat. Not many people ever offered such a request to her. Was she trying for friendship? Why? Why, why, why? Her father for years had tried to get her to believe in giving people a chance to become her friend. Should she maybe actually listen to such advice, especially after meeting that huntress only earlier in the month. “Well… that sounds nice.” Daisy said with almost a nervous tone of voice as she quickly washed her face before drying it off. All the while she was thinking to herself that if the idea of letting someone buy a bite for her would backfire down the like. Would it be seen that she is a person that needed pity. She was a person that was prideful in herself as well as her abilities. That is when an idea hit her. As she put the paper towels in the big she turned as stood confidently pointing towards Lux with a smirk on her face. “Or I shall treat you if you in exchange owe me one training match with you in the future!” she said brimming with confidence again. It was a plan sure to work as it would not only as a chance to that she could say to her father truthfully that she tried out his advice but far more importantly she would be able to test herself with against a maybe worth opponent. Win-win situation! Well apart from the fact it would not mean that Daisy would be paying for lunch. Maybe Lux would be nice and not go for anything that will be out with Daisy’s current budget for eating this month. Like it could be seen that she really owes Lux purely out of the fact that she missed her lunch to help her but it was maybe her only chance of getting a training fight.
