The scouring sensation that was soon carried away by the soft pressure of a sponge, and soothing massages. The young woman let out a soft sigh before laying back in the hot milky water was that was provided for her bath. Gentle bubbles caressed her body as she lyed still, not causing a ripple to stir the mirror reflection of her flawless skin, the water carrying strands of celian hair away from her pale skin, only her bangs remained at rest as she ran her fingers through her locks to cleanse them. She appeared regal in a sense, as her calm facade was aesthetically appealing to those that looked upon it; though in the comfort of her dorm it was suffice to say that was not happening.

Finishing her relaxing soak, she stepped from the tub, trailing water as she wrapped the towel around her body and walked to stand in front of her closet, pulling appropriate attire from the racks. Taking her time she combed her hair and got dressed, enjoying a warm cup of tea before sitting at her desk. The comforting feeling of the wooden chair at her back made the girl sigh softly before she happened to glance down at her scroll. A soft light lit up, notifying her of a message left. She casually reached to open the small device, noticing the message sent by Max. She smiled softly and looked at the sent time. '19 minutes ago...'

Contemplating how long she had made him wait, she quickly slipped on her shoes and pulled on her jacket before heading out the door, locking it in process. Figuring him for a patient person she walked swiftly, but not too quickly as to tire herself out. The walk from housing to the restaurant was not too far, and would only take her a maximum of 15 minutes.

In a short amount of time, Sage found herself looking at a familiar face and she walked up to greet him casually standing in front of the shops."Hey Max!" she called out in her sing songy voice, "It's great to see you!"

A grin spread across Sage's lips as Max greeted her, his small pierrot flashed off his new clothes that they had bought together and she cheered in the recognition. "Yeah It looks great! And thanks for waiting... I was in the bath when I got your message but I tried to hurry!" Looking around she inhaled slowly, admiring the different smells of food that wafted through the cool air. Her mouth watered in her excitement before Max continued, his shy demeanor causing her to raise her eyebrow in curiosity.

"Umm I can try," she commented before scratching the back of her head in confusion. The only reason she is so calm is due to her introvert nature that prevents her from entering any situation where she would feel uncomfortable. But not wanting to let her friend down, she committed herself to at least trying her best, this would be good practice for her future, considering that she aimed to become a teacher. "Sure, that pizza is smelling really good.. come on!" she said tugging on his sleeve before skipping forward, her face lighting up like a christmas tree.

Heading into the restaurant she inhaled once more, finding delight in the smells around her, grinning widely before moving to the nearest open seat. Her enthusiasm speaking for her she looked over the menu and immediately decided what she wanted even before the waiter had come to the table. "I appreciate this Max, I just hope I can be of some help."

Sage smiled, thanking the waitress for the drinks before ordering a slice of pizza with roasted tomatoes and spinach on top. The woman nodded, taking Max's order and then with a quick flip she was off, allowing the two of them to continue to the conversation. The young woman sipped on her water before bringing her finger up to her lips, thinking about what she had been doing as of late.

"Well recently I have been studying under Professor Thorn, acting as his assistant to take up a teaching position after graduation." she commented, admiring the fact that Max was so close with his teammates. She yearned for a friend like that, wishing that the faculty would hurry ad pair her with another senior. It was a shame that her old one had decided to drop out, and it was even more shameful that Sage earnestly had no idea why. She was not very close with her old teammate.

"So you are prepared for the tournament yeah? I'll be watching you in the stands, giving you the best luck of course." she said with a soft smile. "I thought about signing up at last minute, but it seemed that my studies got the best of me ya know?"

In no time at all, the waitress returned, with their plates in tow, sliding the large slices of pizza in front of them. Sage's eyes lit up instantly and she grew excited, pulling off her hat and coat to get situated before cutting into it with her utensils. "Umm, so you are worried about stage fright?"
