After El tied his ribbon into his hair and the duo stepped outside the dust shop, Max suggested that they eat. Although El wasn't exactly hungry, the thought of having some good sounded pretty good. He would nod at his companion and they started heading to the restaurant section of the Courtyard. Max slowly rolled on his skateboard beside El. As they walked about, Max asked El about his free time and a partner, noting that maybe he could offer himself to Max as a taste testing guinea pig. With a slight smirk playing on his lips El would answer: "I like doing all sorts of things. Dancing, playing musical instruments, you name it." He wasn't particularly great at either of those, but he was able to keep people entertained. As for the question of a parter, though... "As for my partner... I don't exactly have one. Will have to look harder." El admitted as he scratched his chin.

Right on cue, Max's stomach growled quite loudly, making El chuckle a little. As an answer Max went on to talk about his current dream food. It did sound pretty delicious, but El definitely wasn't into fishy stuff today, so no tuna for him this time. Max did of course ask El about his opinion. After a brief thought, he would reply: "I think that I will probably go for something with ham, tons of onions and spicy peppers on it." Yeah, he felt like he needed some reigniting of his inner flame. One can't go wrong with something spicy to do that, right?

"Are you a fan of spicy food, Max?" The redhead would ask his companion out of sheer curiosity, as they made their way towards the sandwich shop of their dreams.
