Summary: Lapis conversed with Alex's Mother and Father

" There is nothing more that we would want right now than to have Alex back with us. Still Im proud that her final hours was protecting someone she cared about deeply ". The voice that spoke these words carried sadness in them, that of a broken mother who had lost her very heart in the form of her daughter. It had been some time since the funeral, and with the state that the world was in, sending Alex body back home was not an option. It's because of this and that she was a student of Vytal Academy that they had her buried there, a decision that Lapis definitely didn't agree with...but he carried no say on the matter. He could tell that even now, a bit after Alex's passing that her mother was trying to keep strong, but he could pick up the minor breaking in her voice.

" You know, We never got over you and Alex running away together. It Angered me for years, and your parents didn't take it easy as well. It was probably one of the worst things children could do to their parents, but then after the updates Alex provided every now and then...I saw for a time that things had changed for the better. Alex was a strong child, both by will and strength...but she didn't have the brains to thrive successfully in life on her own. I have to think that the brains came from you Lapis...you two completed each other like that ". The father reached over for the kettle of hot tea, pouring some into the cup that was positioned right in front of Lapis. The blue haired Boy was sitting across from the parents of Alex, sharing a few drinks along with stories of when Alex was alive.

"We completed each other ?" Lapis didn't understand exactly what her father meant by it. His hand reached downwards in the direction of the tea, grasping it, and lifting the tip of it to his lips. As he did, his eyes closed for a bit, thinking about her prior to the event, and the moment when she kissed him...something that only he alone would remember and carry with him for the rest of his life. It no longer stung when he thought about it, but it did remind him of his goals.

" You sure did. I can see how much her passing affected you, but back then you was such a timid person...so sincere and kind. When you helped others with their chores, you always gave it your all while having such a beautiful smile on your face. You figured out easy ways to do things even though you couldn't physically do it yourself. I remember you struggling to reach the top cabinet, only to have Alex come from behind and lift you up...OH! and that time she was about to get into that fight with those boys but you talked it out with them and diffused it completely. You think I didn't know but a well informed Parent in a small village knows. Alex had her gentle side, but we both know if she would have fought them, she would have hurt them boys. You kept her...grounded ". Upon end, all individuals except Lapis took a sip from their own cup of tea while Lapis just looked towards them, lowering his eyes ever so slightly.

" Alex kept us in the loop with how things were going, even regarding you Mr.Study all day. Heard you loved studying Chemistry and spent most of your time playing around with test tubes while she was out training to defend the world from Grimms. Told us that you had such a huge problem keeping notes of things and were so unorganized that she was going to get you a huge note book one of these days. She did infact, and sent it to us to hold until it was your birthday ". There was some energy in the mothers voice up until the end of the sentence when it dawned on her on what happened to it." But we were robbed earlier in the year and there was no luck finding who broke into the house. Amongst all the things taken was that notebook...dont know why. It was completely new and empty...I guess they just didn't care what they grabbed. Such a pitty though because it was quite a beauty. Not beauty as in feminine but...well you know what I mean ".

"I see. Im sorry to hear that...was a report filed ? any form of leads ? what did it look like ?" A decision had been made instantly upon being informed about the gift that Alex meant to give to him, something that he would have considered dear to his heart if he had gotten it. The questions was asked very calmy, not hinting any actual intentions behind them which would lead them to telling him what they knew, about the report they filed and what they told the law enforcer.

Summary: Lapis continued to converse with them

Taking in the information provided to him by Alex parents, a few things formulated in his head regarding the next set of actions that were to be taken by him. Even though the mother had assumed that the thieves just took anything that they could grab, Lapis made a few connections based on some of the more notable items taken from the house. The items themselves didn't appear as really important, or even high end...just that they were things that people often used to hold some form of information in them. The hard drive was stripped out of the computer in Alex rooms, Paper back note books was taken as well as Alex's Diary. Things were thrown all about the place to make it look like it wasn't a unique instance, but it was. Along on that list was a scroll...or what Alex mother refered to as the Notebook for Lapis. The next thing was to determine why these things were taken, things that would hold information pertaining to an individual. It became apparent that Alex, or at least information regarding her was the target. With this in mind, the first thought following it was a possible stalker. While very unlikely, Alex did become a very skilled Huntress, and maybe even gained a small fanbase as some of the very well known hunters do. Maybe the Stalker wanted something that he could remember her by and just got very greedy.

After thinking about it a bit more, Lapis shook the thought off and went to the next possibility." Yea, from the looks of it, it appears that it was just a normal break in...nothing unique at all. That's saddening a bit because not just anyone should lay claim to her belongings. That notebook...Alex ". His eyes closed, his face appearing slightly saddened by the thought, though not showing it entirely.

" We couldn't agree with you more, especially that notebook. I can remember it now...such a wonderful design on it that Alex had done herself. It was like 3 crescent moons connected with each other facing outwards, all with Circles in the middle of them. Below that Crest were the words ' With Love '. It was something truly precious ". With that sentence ending, Lapis arose from his seat and bowed slightly. " Thank you very much for having me over and enlightening me on what happened here ". Both the mother and father looked to Lapis with warm expressions, letting him know without words that they were really happy to have him, and that he was always welcome. The Father more so felt like he knew what was to come just by intuition. He knew how much Lapis cared for his daughter, and how much Alex cared for Lapis, so something of this nature was not going to be taken sitting down. He wasn't going to try to stop him neither simply because he knew if it was him, he would do the same thing.

" I'll definitely stop by again soon ". He turned his back away from them, grabbing both Cry and Morn which was up against the side of the chair, and began making his way to the exit. The time spent with her parents was needed in more ways than one, and now that some clarity was brought about to the young Hunter, there was some important business to be handled. Cry and Morn were sheathed as Lapis slipped the straps connected to them over his head and onto his shoulders, allowing for the blades to hang on his back in an X formation. As soon as he got outside and closed the doors behind him, Lapis put his hand above his eyes, as if trying to should them from others. His breathing increased slightly for a few seconds almost as if he was trying to restrain himself from crying. Following those few seconds came stability in his breathing before removing his hand away from his eyes.
