PLAYED BY Terra Sixteen (16) November third (11/3) | Gender - Female Occupation - Underclass Race - Human | |
Terra "Reaper" Green |
★ APPEARANCE
Terra stands at 6'3", easily over-towering most of her family members. She has short brown hair with deep black eyes almost like gems sparkling. She has a broad frame, though more built for agility even with her height. She's thin and muscular, weighing in at around 195 pounds which is decently average for her height. Her legs are long, and her torso almost matches in length. Scars cover her entire body, most across her chest, back, and face. The scars that are visible upon her face are a slash like mark going from her upper right side of her face down to the left bottom side. A tiny scar near her left ear shows through only when her hair is tucked. She has a scar tracing from her left side of her shoulder dragging across to the right side in three rows. She has four tattoos, one near the collarbone to the front on the right side in the shape of a heart wrapped in thorns that is bleeding. Her second tattoo lays upon her left shoulder blade, chains draped around a rose a bright shade of blood red. The third is upon her left wrist, an infinity symbol with the word 'strength' embed in the center. The fourth is hidden on her ankle and is feathered wings protecting the word 'love'. Something that is important about her appearance is the fact she always wears a dull red scarf that has obviously been through some wear and tear. She wears finger-less leather gloves and a leather jacket with extra padding in both for protection at all times.
★ PERSONALITY
★ HISTORY
Terra Green was born to a single mother, in the Kingdom of Pinnacle, whom decided very early she had no liking towards her daughter. Her aunt was the one dedicated to taking care of her and treating her... well, as well as an outcast could be treated. Her early life was not one she remembered well, but what she did recall was that by the age of five she had been left abandoned on the streets, not knowing what to do she had wandered the streets late into the night crying for her mother. Luckily, a fauna family felt pity and decided to take care of her until the morning. Alas, they grew attached to her and decided to raise her to the best of their ability. It was then, her life began.
They taught her tiny skills here and there, mainly just feeding her and letting her run wild. To Terra, they were her real parents in her mind as they were all she would ever know to be as family. A year after they had adopted her, Terra was a big sister to a young fauna cat. A little brother. She grew fond of him, and when he was old enough she would watch over him while their parents worked hard to keep a roof over their heads. She was put into school early and her family hired a nanny of sorts to watch over her and her brother whenever they weren't in school.
Although Terra wasn't fond of her newly found nanny, she still held her tongue and would help out around the house to the best of her ability. By the time she was eight she had a few chores she knew well and had become trusting to the nanny. She had learned lots in her school and skipped a few grades because of her intelligence and some studying help from her mother and father. During that year she succeeded and told her parents she would one day want to be a hunter, as she loved helping others and protecting them. They were overjoyed and encouraged her actions, letting her take self-defense lessons from her adopted uncle whom had once been a hunter himself.
By the time she was about ten years of age, the tragedy struck. She had excelled well in her classes from school and was well trained from her uncle. She and her uncle had been training in their backyard when the nanny returned home with... some company. Terra and her uncle were dragged into the house and tied up, thrown aside, and kicked and beat until they bled. Of course they had both put up quite a fight, but when Terra made a mistake and was captured her uncle had no choice but to give in for the safety of his niece. The rest of the family was gathered and killed one at a time in front of Terra's eyes. They lashed out at her, and when she was near-death they left her for dead. Finding as much strength in her weak body, she crawled over to her brother and wept with all the strength she had left. She took his long red scarf and wrapped herself in it as she managed to pull herself to the streets and cry for help.
After being taken to the hospital, she slipped away once she was fully healed and escaped into the night. She survived on her own, taking way into that of a sort of "mercenary". Since she looked older than she was, she was able to pass as a young teenager with the help of an older "mercenary". They worked odd jobs as a duo, and whenever she got into... a problematic situation, he helped her escape. After a few jobs and dueling it out with her fists, he felt Terra was ready for a weapon of her own.
She was taken to the local blacksmith for her thirteenth birthday and he paid for her to receive custom made weapons. She was allowed to design them herself and she took her time with them. She was overjoyed, though she didn't show her companion any emotions except a mere thanks. After that, her 'jobs' became even more-so easy and she was determined to find the people that had destroyed her family.
During one job really close to her fourteenth birthday, she had been in close counters with grimm. She fought well but her partner had been killed by one of them and she was alone. Not being able to react fast enough, claws scrapped across her chest as she was flung against a tree. Her vision went blurry and that was when she two figures leap into action and save her. When she woke up, she was greeted by two hunters that were on a mission to counter her jobs horrible outcome. She felt as her life was in debt to them and changed her ways ever so slightly. She worked only jobs that she did heavy research in, to make sure the outcome wouldn't be malicious.
In-between jobs at the age of fifteen, Terra packed in as much learning as possible. She wanted desperately to be accepted into the academy known as Vytal. She still had the dream of becoming a hunter and perhaps if she showed them what she was made of, they would accept her.

★ COMBAT NOTES
WEAPONS
Terra's weapons are unique to her, and her alone. Determinedly giving them the names Soul & Reaper they act with her as one. Attached to either side of her hips are what appears to be two sword handles, but when unsheathed they are ribbon blades. One, Soul, being a ribbon that changes color depending on what dust Terra is using, thus it can light a flame, or be as icy as the cold winter wind. The ribbon is attached to a hilt as it is made very strong metal-fabric. Normally used to lash out or pull closer objects or people. Often times she enjoys using it as a way to hold onto to something from behind. This weapon can be used both in combat and in fun.
Reaper is a very light sword-katana that stretches out to be about 4'5 in length, and maybe 4 inches wide. It is in the shape of a katana and the hilt of the sword is wrapped securely in a red leather. The blade changes color depending on what dust she using. Normally if she is using fire for her ribbon than she will use some form of ice for her blade. The blade can transform into a shorter version with a hole at the end where she can shoot out bullets that are stored within the hilt.
MISC.
Terra carries all four types of dust on her at all times.
She also carries extra magazines of bullets for her weapon (around 60 rounds).
A ribbon wrapped around her katana with the symbol of her fauna family.
Terra's aura is a deep blue in shade and often when around her you feel almost at home and at ease. She often is told she smells a bit like the ocean when her aura is active. She tends to have a light glow around her when she is in combat. When her aura is active in barrier form, it looks like a bit of a metallic blue shade in whatever way she uses it. She's able to create a tiny barrier near her arms and hands to deflect weaker attacks and rarely stronger ones.
Defensive AP: 2AP per weak attack she blocks and 5 per heavy.
Reapin' Shock
Terra's semblance is that of speed and agility. Her aura glows bright like a flame, though it's a softer dark blue. Her hair makes it seem like it's levitating and her body is relaxed and calm. Her eyes change color to a deeper, softer black color and make it seem like she is ready to kill. Throughout the aura can be seen electric sparks that she channels in from electric attacks, she races forward in her teleportation like movements and strikes the ground in front of her target with her fist, sending the ground shaking. If using a dust, the ground will spew out flames, ice, blow some air, or make rocks fly at the target.
Aura Activation: 10AP
First & Second Ground Pound: 15AP
Non-stop pounding the ground until Semblance is finished(6 seconds): 20AP
