★ APPEARANCE
There isn't much to be said about Aaron, standing at 5'10", he looks fairly average compared to many other Hunters, or even people in general. Perhaps it could be said that he was decently attractive with a youthful face and wide blue eyes, and his decently long hair, reaching down to the back of his neck, was a nice amber color. He walked with a sense of confidence in his steps, self assured in his place. Physically, he was in extremely good shape, though his thin build meant that he was more toned rather than built.
He regularly dresses in more loose and utilitarian clothes, not caring very much for fashion short of making sure he didn't look like an absolute idiot when he walked out the door. Often times, he can be found wearing a loose white shirt with the sleeves rolled up if it was particularly warm or if he was working with his hands, along with a pair of simple gray cargo pants. One thing of note, however, is the black harness often seen over Aaron's clothes, small metal canisters seeming to hang from the straps by his sides and along his back. The man often hides the harness from casual sight by throwing a jacket over his clothes.
★ PERSONALITY
★ HISTORY
Born in the Kingdom of Rift, Aaron's place in the world has always been impressed upon him from the very beginning, and coming from a long line of distinguished Hunters, his place was a very important one to his family. The Bright family has been, for generations, a source of skilled talent for Vytal Academy, the entire family seeming to revolve entirely upon the eradication of the Grimm. Due to this, Aaron was raised on the stories of glory and valor of his ancestors, learning the tales and values expected from a true protector of humanity. It was expected of Aaron to take up the mantle of Hunter much like his cousins, aunts and uncles, and his mother and father, and it was a role that Aaron looked forward to playing. This was all that he was born for, and there was no greater glory than the protection of mankind.
Coming from such a family came with a fair few benefits, of course. Aaron's education started early, years before he ever enrolled into Vytal. Book learning, physical conditioning, martial arts, all of it. He built a solid foundation upon which he could jump start his education before most other students ever even started considering enrolling in Vytal. Even his Aura was to be unlocked early, just a little before he would enter Vytal Academy. Aaron was sure he was going to be a prodigy among prodigies when school finally rolled around. He'd be the best of the very best, and nothing would stand in his way. Everyone would surely acknowledge his skill and might, and maybe they'd even let him skip the underclassman courses.
Whatever childish dreams Aaron had of being the next great Hunter of his time were utterly dashed when the day actually came to unlock his Aura. It was weak. Pitifully so. Almost to the point of nonexistence. His semblance too. The one true manifestation of a Hunter's soul, and it was nearly useless. What kind of Hunter could he be with so crucial a tool denied to him? He fell into despair. Aaron glided through classes at Vytal, seemingly an empty shell of his former self. It was easy, he didn't even really need to try. After all, he'd been taught nearly all of it before, but even then, it all just seemed so pointless. He hid his Aura and Semblance for as long as he could, keeping his deep dark secret away from everyone else for as long as possible, and when his classmates did eventually find out, he grew enraged whenever anyone would dare attempt to poke fun of him for it.
Eventually Aaron would recover, once again finding his resolve. If he could not have an Aura, then he would make up for it in every other way possible. Weapons, armor, skill, and smarts. He'd once again throw himself into his studies, drawing designs for his own tools and working himself to the bone to simply match the other students. He'd be the best Hunter he could be, and if that wasn't enough, he'd just have to get better.

★ COMBAT NOTES
WEAPONS
Dust Carapace:
One of Aaron's self designed pieces of gear. On the surface, Dust Carapace holds no fanciful name full of poetry and meaning, instead it is simply called what it is. However, that is simply on the surface, for there is a reason why Aaron did not simply call this a suit of armor. Armor is something worn, thrown over one's self for protection. A carapace is similar, but it's a part of something living. Aaron views this gear much like an insect might see its hard outer shell. Another part of himself. Truly, it may be so, as the Dust Carapace is perhaps the one biggest equalizing factor that allows Aaron to fight on equal ground compared to other Hunters. While not in use, the Dust Carapace takes the appearance of a simple black harness around Aaron's chest with a black chestpiece looking like a partial suit of armor, similar to something one might strap a pistol holster too, albeit with a fair few more straps, with a number of metal canisters containing powdered Dust of various kinds hanging off of his sides and around his waist. When in use, the Dust Carapace unfolds over and over into a full suit, covering Aaron from head to toe, as well as adding a few inches to his height.
Designed to act as a replacement for Aaron's weak Aura, the Dust Carapace's thick armor helps to absorb blows and turn what would likely be crippling injuries into something much more manageable, as well as augment Aaron's strength and speed to levels more comparable to other Hunters. It also acts as a conduit for the Dust under the armor. All effects of Dust, however, must center on the suit in someway. For example, Aaron could heat up his suit to augment his fists with heat, or perhaps throw a fireball from his hands, but he could not start a spontaneous fire at distance from himself.
Rail Blade:
Another tool designed and constructed by Aaron himself, the Rail Blade holds less sentimental value than his Dust Carapace, but he would likely still feel a sense of loss were it to be broken or stolen. The Rail Blade is a fairly simple weapon, a longsword and accompanying sheath, it functions nearly exactly as one would expect of a sword. However, both the blade and sheath are designed to split down the center when mated together, and using Energy Dust from within the scabbard, it propels thin needle-like projectiles loaded within the pommel and handle, operating essentially as a railgun and providing Aaron with a better way of reaching out towards distant opponents. When separated, the sword simply acts like a sword, and a further conduit for the Dust stored within the Dust Carapace. The sheath, however, can act as a suitable shock baton when activating the Energy Dust within, and makes for a decent improvised weapon that opponents do not usually expect.
MISC.
Aaron's gear relies heavily on a great deal of Dust, and so he keeps a good supply of it in stock at home, and on his person within the canisters of his Dust Carapace.
Aaron's Aura is weak in both intensity and the feeling that all Aura's seem to emit. A dim and dull gray when activated, it's so weak as to nearly seem absent unless in pitched combat. If one was to stand extremely close-by to Aaron while his Aura was in use, they would feel a muted sense of resolution and determination, to set themselves in their ways.

NIGHTLIGHT
Self deprecatingly called Nightlight by Aaron, the man's Semblance can almost be mistaken to not be a Semblance at all. Allowing for the weak manipulation of light, Nightlight acts almost like a more refined version of the Illumination ability that can be so commonly found as a utilitarian use of one's Aura. Rather than only creating enough light to see by centered on the user, however, Nightlight allows Aaron to create and manipulate small balls of floating light, and with a bit of concentration, he is able to flare them up suddenly, effectively 'consuming' them for a sudden blinding flash. As a slightly more useful ability, Nightlight can be used to bend the light around Aaron, effectively turning him invisible, though such an ability drains him extremely quickly and can barely be sustained for mere minutes before he drops unconscious from the strain.
