Aislin Toth’Gal |
★ APPEARANCE
Aislin is a fairly average size for a girl her age, about 5’7” close to 5’8”, as well she has bay blue eyes that betray her love of adventure and thrill seeking. She has long, hay blonde hair that she usually wears in a ponytail, its length reaching past the square of her back and almost coming to her waist, a bit of a safety risk but so are most things in an adventure! Her body, while not super muscular is definitely athletically built, which suits her just fine considering she has no desire to be a body builder, plus its always satisfying to deal a hit that no one expects to hit as hard as it does. As far as looks go, Aislin has never been one to truly flaunt or make a spectacle of her appearance, she simply is who she is, a bright girl with a fair complexion and a desire to see the world.
Speaking of appearances, Aislin’s clothing when hunting or adventuring is mostly indicative of where she grew up, rocky hills and the coast line. To this end she wears a pretty simple blouse and skirt, although over the skirt and across (diagonal) the shirt are a green plaid kilt and sash which serve as additional layering’s for warmth and protection against the elements. With this she usually wears leather gloves (fingerless) and boots to match her ensemble. This is far from her only outfit, changing whenever the situation calls for it, meaning for something more formal she’d wear a dress, for a day at the beach A bikini, and so on.

★ PERSONALITY
★ HISTORY
Even from the moment she could open her eyes, baby Aislin was stricken with wanderlust and a thirst to explore the unknown. As a baby she would crawl around anywhere she could get too (much to her parent’s chagrin). Things weren’t much better as a toddler or small child, her parents often having to save her from the perils of the world that were presented to a youngling. The area where Aislin lived, while not exceptionally dangerous, was perched nearby some rocky shallows and rolling hills in the Kingdom of Setek, a remote little area but close enough to the city that her family could supply itself easily. If left unattended, a toddler could easily get lost, or worse. To that end, her parents made increasing efforts to spend time and watch over her, which not only gave her the time every child needs with their parents, but to refine her skills as they grew, helped her be what she wanted to be.
To that end, what did she want to be? Both her parents where huntsmen, although they took time away from that to raise and cherish their daughter (also make sure she didn’t fall off cliffs). During this time they taught her to defend herself and how to fight, but her true passion lay with what she did from the moment she could crawl, explore. Growing up she loved nothing more than to explore those rolling hills, or to explore the beaches or coast with her parents. They would harness themselves up and on occasion go spelunking through caves, discovering hidden wonders and treasures like crystal formations and rock formations. Discoveries like these made the girls eyes shine with light and wonder, not only giving a feeling of accomplishment, but a feeling of pride. These were things that she and her parents found, things that she wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Another reason that Aislin loved scaling the rocky shore or the cliffs was the smell of the coast. Something about the shoreline always made her feel like she was home, whether it was the smell of seaspray of the cries of the gulls flying overhead. Her decision to become a huntsman however didn’t come until the day one of her adventures almost went terribly wrong. Without realizing it she had begun to be tracked, hunted by a beowolf and its pack. It wasn’t until she was far from home that they pounced, trying to take the young girl by surprise. It was then she got her first taste of fear, her first taste of danger. It would’ve been her last save for her parent’s attentive nature. The minute grim became involved her parents wasted no time in rushing to their daughter’s defense, dispatching the beowolf pack with ease. It was then also that Aislin learned the purpose of a hunter, not only to fight, but to protect.
She liked the idea of a huntsman’s purpose, helping people, and the thought of herself doing this, not only fighting against the forces of destruction, but also the idea of going to the four corners of the world to help people. It was then and there she made her choice, she wanted to be a huntress. When she told her parents of this, they told her they couldn’t be happier. So when the day came for her to apply for Vytal academy, they supported her whole heartedly, giving her the supplies and support she needed to make her way there. Armed not only with the spirit of advent, but the desire to see and help the world, Aislin made her way to Vytal, where she would learn the skills needed to become a world class huntress.

★ COMBAT NOTES
WEAPONS
Tidal Force Tidal force can be best explained as a claymore sword with an ebony black hilt and crossguard. It seems like your ordinary sword, nothing too special aside from the blade itself, which is a typical claymore blade, save for a surface that is as reflective as water. Like most weapons however it has a ranged function. Upon the click of a button on the hilt, the crossbars extend to form the arms of a siege crossbow, the blade itself detatching from the guard, becoming a massive bolt which can be fired. The blade/bolt can be replaced through the use of its sheathe which attaches to form the stock of the crossbow, containing more blades for the crossbow, replacement blades popping up after the string is drawn back.
MISC.
This section should include all everything your character uses that isn't explicitly tied to their weapon. This can include, but is not limited to; extra Dust, sidearms, miscellaneous equipment, and more. You do -not- need to include anything that isn't generally carried on their person (for example, a winter cloak would not have to be included here, and in that case it should probably go in your APPEARANCE section).
Aislin’s aura is the color of sea foam, giving off a shimmering glow and smelling strongly of seaspray. Aislin’s aura reflects what she holds very much dear to herself, the sense of adventure that she loves to indulge in. When in combat, or when she gets serious or angry her aura turns a darker shade of that sea-green color. IT becomes darker, and her aura rises off her as miniature waves would, roiling and crashing outward, even the ground below her seems to roil away from her. Her aura power increases her endurance, enabling her to take a bit more punishment and complimenting her offensive fighting style, the swirling green aura seeming to absorb some of the force of what’s hitting her.
Aura Power (5 Aura Points)
Tidal Essence
Aislin’s semblance is very much related to her love of the coast and the sea. Much like the waves that crashed upon the rocky shores of her home, her semblance empowers her attacks to crash upon opponents with the force and pressure of an ocean wave. Her aura flares up and her attacks cause force and pressure upon contact or being within her attacks vicinity. Someone being hit or even blocking the blade itself would feel as if something had slammed them with great force, something was pressing down on the ruthlessly like the unforgiving waves of the sea. Her semblance has a bti of a defensive side as well. Using her weapon or even her hands, the same pressure and force she could bring to bear against someone can also be used to fend off an attack, splitting objects to one side or another. Projecting force and pressure to repel anything to do her arm. Her semblance however doesn’t come without its drawbacks. When making her attacks with her semblance empowering her she can’t stop, being locking in to whatever moves she’s carrying out, even if she sees her folly mid move. Her semblance tends to flare up especially when she’s angry, being at her wits end or even being frustrated with someone. To this end she always tried to maintain an upbeat attitude, but sometimes that’s just impossible.
