It’s the second Friday of August, meaning it’s time for our FIRST update of the month! We’ve got a few fun little tidbits to go over this time around, including our very first activity check, so let’s get to it!
As most of you may know, we’ve recently completed Episode 2 - “The Waters of Life” - and are in the process of completing the pre-event script for Episodes 3 and 4, which will be occurring simultaneously. Episode 3, titled “Epiphany”, will take place in the Kingdom of Legion and feature character development between the characters involved. There’s sure to be some combat as well, so sharpen your swords and prepare yourself for a fight!
Episode 4 will also include combat. Titled “Somewhere In Hiding”, this event will see a task force of Vytal students sent to investigate reports that Rift’s princess is supposedly within the city of Vilas. It is up to the task force to secure the princess and return her safely to Vytal Island. Be warned: there are eyes all over the desert Kingdom. The Cult of St. Ashes have heard these very same reports, on top of an ever-growing Grimm threat.
Next on our list is a little revamp of our Calendar System. While a good system in place through and through, the current system moves too fast for where we are in terms of story and activity, so we’ll be dialing it back a notch to reflect 1:1 time instead of the 2:1 system currently in place. This system will START with Episodes 3 and 4, and following its adoption it will be imperative that threads are properly dated to avoid confusion. If you forget, we’ll just bug you with PMs until it’s all fixed up! :3
There isn’t much more in the way of news, other than that we will be holding our very first activity check the day after this update (so on 8/13/16). In accordance with the rules, all players will have the rest of month to respond and save their character from being declared inactive, and another full month to save them from being archived. Some of you may already notice Work-in-Progress applications are beginning to disappear as a result of prolonged inactivity.
This will do for our first August update! We look forward to seeing new and returning faces on the board, and to all the plots currently in the works!
