(Contents of this thread detail Chrohn work on his weapon from start to finish. Each post will most likely be a different day over the course of the time that it takes for Chrohn to actually make everything) (NOTE 2: I prolly won't post everything at once, prolly posting stuff as it comes to me so individual posts might get editted a lot.) (Note 3: This is gonna be more..narrative based and vague in terms of dialogue because I'm bad at dialogue)

The ride to his new home was uneventful for the most part, and to Chrohn's immediate recollection, it was a fairly quiet ride.
Once the Airship had docked, Lavender and let loose her reins on Chrohn and let him explore until she'd need him in some time. And it was then that Chrohn got lost several times on the way to his goal, the Forge. While he easily had the option of using his old weapons, Chrohn had no idea what they were. He couldn't remember what they were, and even if he did, a year off of training really did a toll on said training so it might as well be best to start from the ground up again. The thing about using the open forge was, Chrohn had no idea what he wanted to make. Yes, it would be simple to make his own sword but if he was to make something so simple, he might as well buy it from a weapon shop.
What Chrohn needed was something that fit himself exclusively, but that would require trial and error, lots of trial and error.
As he walked, Chrohn would ask people for directions, such as "Hey, where's the forge?" or "Couldja send me in the direction of the forge?" Some people had no idea, others were vague, and occasionally people would just ignore him outright. "Jeez, I don't remember people being this rude around here," he muttered as he walked hurriedly from street to street in search of his destination. It was after about an hour of walking, as he took a rest for his evening meal that Chrohn spotted it. The building in question was just across the street, and it was one he'd recognized as it was one of the landmarks he had set in his mind.
It wasn't a terribly large or fancy place, nor did it have a large sign on it. Or rather, it did but it was easily missed because of how old and faded it was. "WHAT THE FUCK!" He yelled, slightly muffled by the food in his mouth. Quickly he scarfed the rest of his meal down before grabbing his stuff and heading in to the Forge.
It was neat on the inside, and incredibly loud. Near the entrance on the inside was a man who ran the logs of who all currently occupied this particular Forge's sets of rooms and equipment. He was tanned, burly, bald and came off as gruff.
"Hi, I....uh, need to forge something. Can I get keys to a room and what not?"
"Whatnot? What's whatnot? You need toilet paper or sumthin'?" The man clearly had an attitude, or was confident. It reminded Chrohn of his Grandfather who was much of the same ilk.
"Er... Tools and weapon supplies please." Chrohn replied, uneasily.
"Sure, you want the All-You-Can-Make deal? If yer gonna be here a while or feel like yer gonna burn through a lot, it'll save you in the long run."
"Sure."
"Alright that'll be 1000 lien."
It was at this moment Chrohn was sure he would've shit himself. He didn't recall the forge being this expensive, but then again it was this all inclusive deal. So he sighed as he pulled out his wallet. Chrohn had money saved up, but he didn't expect to have to shell out this much. That was when the manager saw the ID for Vytal and said, "300 Lien, students and hunters get 70% off during the school year."
Chrohn paid happily, rejoicing at the saved money as the Manager called for them to prep room four, and tossed Chrohn the keys,"You can have the room for a week on me." Chrohn was confused. It was a nice gesture but, Chrohn didn't get why.
"Most students nowadays go to places where machines make everything for them, so it's humbling to see someone of the modern generation of hunters still using their own hands to work. That and your grandfather was a friend o' mine. Have fun in the forge."
So he shuffled into his rented work room and was immediately amazed. There was all sorts of stuff here that he'd need and want to try out. There were all sorts of molds he could use and entire stacks of different metal bricks for smelting, and to top it off, there was a little green button near the work bench that said "Ask for Help". And it was as Chrohn was setting up to work the manager popped back in," Oh yeah, your clothes are shit for metal working, so here is some stuff for ya." and proceeded to chuck clothing at him, and succeeded with knocking Chrohn over when the old man threw the boots.
Quickly Chrohn changed into his new clothing and started to the work table where he spent the rest of the night working out designs for his new weapon until he ended up falling asleep.
