At least it's supposed to anyway. For a being as simultaneously omnipotent and bored as Gale Richards, the two ideas are not mutually inclusive. For him great power comes with great motivation, and when one day, reruns of his favorite show weren't cutting it for him anymore the idea came to him: why settle for second best? Why not kick things up a notch and bring the show to him? Raise the stakes? And why stop there? Why stop at just one show or movie or book series or video game? Why not all of them?

He had the means and the motive - all he was lacking were the pieces to his metaphoric puzzle. So he created a home for all of them, a hodgepodge of all his favorite fandom and story elements sectioned off by genre to keep his soon-to-be-guests comfortable. It never even occurred to him that some of them might not exactly thank him for his efforts...
