Amelie is a tall girl standing at about 5'9 in height. Her form is somewhat misleading as she appears lithe and lean. But beneath her seemingly lithe appearance is a build comprised of lean muscle designed to output a decent amount of strength while maintaining a small and petite and agile form. Her skin is quite pale and is for the most part unmarred by any sort of scars or blemishes, Amelie's eyes are a shade of brighter purple and her hair is a darker auburn color reaching down to mid neck in length. She tends to not style her hair much often preferring to go with a primarily natural style when it comes to her hair.
Amelie's eyes can be described as almond shaped with long eyelashes and slightly pronounced eyebrows. Her mouth is a bit small with lips that are a bit on the thin side. Her nose is is small with a bit of a rounded tip. Her face in general is a bit heart shaped with a short rounded chin and ears that stray a bit toward the longer side. At times she will also wear a red leather jacket over her shirt if the weather is a bit on the cooler side. She also wears a black leather choker around her neck as well. The choker is inset with a metal tab that is imprinted with her blood type and her name.
Her hunting gear is a fair bit different consisting of a white sleeveless undershirt worn beneath a burgundy jacket worn over it with a high collar and a gold lining. She also wears a pair of black finger less gloves along with the same black leather choker she wears in her casual outfit. In her lower extremities she wears a pair of black jeans tucked into a pair of black leather riding boots that reach up to her knees with a black leather belt from which the scabbard for Lame de Garde. Louisoix noticed this early on and often spent a good deal of time subtly teaching Amelie the things she would need to know to become one herself doing things from playing games with her to increase her physical strength to teaching her basic sword-play.
In time the subtle games he would play would evolve into full on lessons in swordsmanship and combat as Amelie grew older. However growing up with her grandparents had the negative effect of leaving her estranged from her parents and siblings. Encounters with her parents became more like meetings between strangers whilst her sisters simply viewed Amelie as an outsider to their own family. As time went on Amelie developed into a strong young girl albeit a bit of a shy and reclusive one. In time Amelie would go on to attend Vytal Academy at the urging of her grandfather in order to refine the skills and training he'd provided her with. For four years Amelie attended Vytal academy as an underclassmen learning new skills and refining the ones she'd already learned.
During her initial years at Vytal Academy Amelie often kept to herself having very few close friends. Though the friends she did have worked quite hard to try to coax Amelie out of her shell and with much time and effort they succeeded helping her grow more comfortable around her fellow classmates. As time continued Amelie flourished becoming one of the top students in her classes. Not only out of a wish to succeed but also a wish to surpass her siblings. After four years as an underclassmen Amelie became a freshman and was paired with another student whom she'd known during her years as an underclassman. The two bonded closely through the years working closely with one another during their journey through their school years at Vytal Academy. Currently Amelie is in her 7th year at Vytal Academy and is currently learning to properly control and use her semblance.
Currently Amelie is also trying to fix the broken bonds between herself and her parents and siblings at her grandmother's urging. Thus far she has been mostly unsuccessful with making any significant progress with her parents. Though she has managed to improve her relationship with her sisters.

WEAPONS
Garde de Chevalier
Garde de Chevalier is Amelie's weapon and also one of the few things she's ever received from her parents. Garde de Chevalier is a simple weapon lacking the complexity many weapons utilized by Huntsman and Huntresses possess in this age. Garde de Chevalier is a sizable long sword that can either be used in a single hand or two handed grip. Using the blade in a single hand is a bit more taxing however as the sheer size of the blade makes the weapon quite heavy making it less maneuverable. The weapon is far more suited to use as a two handed great blade. This use is augmented when Garde de Chevalier is combined with it's scabbard. When sheathed Amelie can twist a section of the sword's handle locking it into the large blade like scabbard and turning the weapon into an even larger great sword with more weight and armor crushing power due to the duller edge of the scabbard.
The blade in total length is about 54 inches long with an additional 7 inches comprising the handle of the weapon. In weight Garde de Chevalier weighs about 10 1/2 pounds total but the weight is offset by Amelie's training with the weapon and her augmented strength whilst using her semblance however when Garde de Chevalier is used with it's scabbard the blade puts on an additional 10 pounds bringing the total weight to 20 1/2 pounds. While using the scabbard the blade is a fair bit harder to use even with Amelia's enhanced strength however Amelie has worked out a style to allow her to use the weapon effectively. The style involves utilizing the downward momentum of each swing of the blade to wind up the next swing essentially allowing gravity to do most of the hard work when it comes to attacking.
Lame de Garde
Lame de Garde is an arming sword that Amelie had commissioned to act as a back up should she ever lose Garde de Chevalier in combat. The blade is far lighter and shorter than her main weapon and is designed for more traditional sword fighting in mind. The blade is made using Damascus forging techniques and is constructed from the same material used to forge Garde de Chevalier giving the blade a good edge whilst maintaining a manageable weight. Lame de Garde is about 32 inches in length with it's handle comprising about 5 inches of this total size. Lame de Garde can be used in one hand or in a two handed grip for more power behind it's swings. When used in a single hand Amelie fights with a more quick and agile style landing rapid strikes with the intent of dealing multiple wounds to weaken and eventually overcome her foes. While used in a two handed grip Amelie's style of fighting takes on a more aggressive stance focusing on utilizing brute strength to land crushing blows meant to not only deal deep wounds but also break bones and knock over her foes. The two styles can easily be switched between giving Amelie a diverse arsenal of moves to use in combat.
MISC.
Amelie often keeps her scroll on her at all times along with a small portable battery pack so that she can keep it charged. She also carries a small photograph of her grandparents. In terms of additional equipment Amelie tends to travel light unless she anticipates being in the field for long periods of time. On her person however Amelie carries around small foil wrapped packages of what her grandfather called "Soldier Crackers" which are thick biscuits made from flour, water and salt which when vacuum sealed can last for decades.
If she anticipates being in the field for an extended period of time she'll often bring a field pack with basic survival equipment. Such equipment being objects such as MRE packs, Bottled waters, a Multi-Tool, Matches and maps of the area.
Amelie's Aura gives off a sensation of safety and comfort. When using her semblance her aura gives off a visible golden glow when flared. People near Amelie when her aura is present can feel a sense of warmth and security. At times they may smell scents that they associate with safety or comfort such as the scent of a loved one, or flowers or anything that their mind connects to comfort. Amelie's aura manifests itself visibly as a mass of smoke-like energy and light. However when Amelie's semblance is used her aura undergoes a change shifting to a dark black and red color it's form becoming more menacing and reacting in unpredictable jerky movements as if alive in a way. The feeling others get in her presence changes as well when her semblance is utilized. The once comforting and safe sensations others might have once had in her presence shift to feelings of unease and dread and some have even said that they can pick up the scent of blood whilst fighting at her side whilst her semblance is in use.
Defensive Enhancement
-Amelie's can utilize her aura to increase her defensive capabilities in combat. By utilizing her aura Amelie can raise her defensive statistics allowing her to guard against attacks against herself and her allies in a more effective manner. While this ability is active Amelie can shrug off damage that would normally kill a normal human beings by utilizing her aura as something comparable to a shield that exists just inches above her skin. Also by flaring her aura she can somewhat reflect strikes thrown at her in order to hold her ground against foes that may be stronger and larger than her. Utilizing this ability also gives Amelie a slight speed boost in order to increase her ability to dodge attacks thrown at her and also allow her to reach her allies quicker in order to shield them from damage. Although whilst this skill is in use Amelie will still feel pain from attacks that strike her however the pain is severely reduced preventing it from hindering her ability to fight. Activating this ability costs 15 AP whilst maintaining it over a period of time costs 10 AP for every 2 minutes it remains in use.
Offensive Enhancement
-Amelie can also utilize her aura to increase her offensive capability in combat. Using power from her aura Amelie can drastically raise her strength and speed as well as her ability to recover from injuries. While using this ability Amelie's strength rises to levels far greater than an average human allowing her to swing her heavy blade with ease and with far more force than she'd normally be capable of dishing out allowing her to crush the heavy carapaces of more heavily armored Grimm with her sword. She can also move way quicker whilst using this ability with reflexes to match her newfound speed allowing her to avoid most attacks with relative ease. If she is hit however the protection generated by her aura is reduced greatly allowing some damage to get through however to make up for her lack of defense her ability to heal from damage is raised to compensate. Activating this ability costs Amelie 10 AP whilst using it continuously drains 10 AP for every 5 minutes it is used.
Mending
-Amelie can use her aura to administer first aid to herself and others if it is needed. Although her ability to do so limited as she isn't incredibly skilled with this ability. Amelie can use mending to heal moderate injuries such as gashes, cuts and minor fractures. However far more serious damage such as deep puncture wounds or broken bones are beyond her abilities to heal. Healing injuries can take up to 5-15 AP depending on the seriousness of the injury.
Sang Noir
Amelie's semblance is unique in that it is hereditary with every member of her family possessing the same semblance. It is also unique in that using her semblance also has an effect on both the appearance of her aura and her physical appearance as well. Sang Noir when activated allows Amelie to harness the raw negative energy that comprise Grimm and convert it into power that she can use to fuel herself in combat. When Amelie slays Grimm rather than disintegrating and fading away their essence is drawn into Amelie increasing her physical abilities even further than her normal aura abilities allow. Both her defensive and offensive capabilities increase allowing her to not only take massive amounts of damage but also deal crippling amounts of damage as well. As well as increasing her combat abilities Sang Noir also opens up a new list of abilities for Amelie to use whilst fighting. When utilizing her semblance Amelie can generate a visibly black aura that she can manipulate

When using her semblance Amelie's aura while grow darker and darker with each Grimm she lays until it appears in this form. While in this form Amelie can utilize her aura as appendages, projectiles or weapons or as a shield. Whilst using her semblance Amelie can manipulate her aura to mimic different forms for different uses. She can manipulate the form of her aura to mimic tentacle like appendages or into javelin like projectiles that she can launch at foes with extreme force. She can also shift her aura to form blades that she can lash out at foes with or form a shell like barrier to protect herself from attacks. However utilizing her semblance and it's affects on her aura bears it's burden on Amelie as using it for long periods of time to continue using her semblance Amelie must continue to slay grimm as it is the negative energy siphoned from them that supports it and as she siphons more negative energy from Grimm her aura rapidly acts to repair the damage utilizing such negative energy is causing inside her body. The flow of negative energy in Amelie's body is constantly straining it as it was never really meant to be used by humans.
Due to this using her semblance rapidly drains Amelie's aura levels and having her aura deplete can result in fatigue so severe that she would be unable to move her body until her aura can replenish to safe levels. The name of the Renault family semblance derives from the physical effect that the semblances' use has upon the user's body. When used in excess black veins form all over the user's body and the area around the pupil in the eye slowly turns black as well the longer the semblance is used. It is possible for Amelie to retain a portion of a Grimm's negative energy in order to use her semblance when no Grimm are present. However doing so has a negative affect of causing multiple issues such as sudden pains, hallucinations and a weakened immune system. Actually using the semblance isn't very taxing using up a total of 15 AP to active it the real difficulty comes from sustaining it as continuous use drains about 20 AP every two minutes it is used while using aura constructs adds an additional 5 AP cost.

However utilizing her semblance and it's affects on her aura bears it's burden on Amelie as using it for long periods of time to continue using her semblance Amelie must continue to slay grimm as it is the negative energy siphoned from them that supports it and as she siphons more negative energy from Grimm her aura rapidly acts to repair the damage utilizing such negative energy is causing inside her body. The flow of negative energy in Amelie's body is constantly straining it as it was never really meant to be used by humans.
Due to this using her semblance rapidly drains Amelie's aura levels and having her aura deplete can result in fatigue so severe that she would be unable to move her body until her aura can replenish to safe levels. The name of the Renault family semblance derives from the physical effect that the semblances' use has upon the user's body. When used in excess black veins form all over the user's body and the area around the pupil in the eye slowly turns black as well the longer the semblance is used. It is possible for Amelie to retain a portion of a Grimm's negative energy in order to use her semblance when no Grimm are present. However doing so has a negative affect of causing multiple issues such as sudden pains, hallucinations and a weakened immune system. Actually using the semblance isn't very taxing using up a total of 15 AP to active it the real difficulty comes from sustaining it as continuous use drains about 20 AP every two minutes it is used while using aura constructs adds an additional 5 AP cost.
