Oh, it's you. What'd you want? I don't have time to chitchat here. I was just on my way out when you walked up to me. What? You want to know about me..? ...Why? Really there isn't much to tell you about myself when it comes down to it that isn't already general knowledge. If you wanted to you could go down to the directory and pull up my entire file. There are no secrets there and I make little in the way of qualms about the things that I've done in the past. I'm a Special Operative – a soldier and a huntress in every conceivable way – and I've performed my duties without question to the best of my abilities. If those actions lead to a few broken noses and blown out kneecaps that's just too damned bad. Suck it up and move on. Got a problem with that? Take it up with the top brass. Otherwise get out of my way if you don't have anything better to do than waste my time.

Ugh, will you stop following me!? Didn't I tell you not to waste my time? I don't need some green-ass civilian chatting me up while I'm trying to work. There's a reason I don't keep well with company and in a large way it's because of this kind of thing. People who follow me around end up dead, or worse, so go back to where you came from bud. What? Acquaintances? What the-? You just don't get it do you? I don't need, nor do I want friends. All their good for is dying or getting locked up in the loony bin. Besides, why would you want to be friends with a brain in a tin can anyway? Shouldn't it get your panties in a knot that my body isn't biological, or what? Does that sort've thing get you off? Heh, oh man, it does doesn't it? You have a techno-fetish I bet. Get out of here kid before you really start to piss me off and I make you my next mark. God damned technofreak.

By the god are you persistent! Fine, fine, I get you don't have a techno-fetish. You've stated that repeatedly to me so can you get off of my ass already? Look, I don't want friends, I don't want to have you write my memoirs, and you sure as hell don't want to get on my bad side. So can you just drop it at leave me alone already? You're probably some idiot looking for acclaim in whatever you do, and I get that, but get it from someone else. If you keep following me I'm going to shoot your kneecaps out and leave you on the sidewalk to bleed out. I don’t like people like you who persistently try to bore their way into my life and schmooze me over with some fake garbage about wanting to know about me. If you want to be my acquaintance, or get to know me in any regard, do yourself a favor and back off. Get a little more experience, become useful to me, and when you've learned how to do all of that then I might let you be a cog in the machine I call my life. Now, buzz off.

So, let me get this straight. You've already done and pissed me off, you've made me want to shoot your knee caps out, and now you're asking the Cyborg who could kill you in seven different ways - twelve if I had a spoon - out of you out on a date? You do have a techno-fetish. Listen, I'm going to say this as kind as I possibly can, and you're going to nod to it and walk away afterward. I have zero interest in relationships, going out on dates, and the like and especially with someone who I can barely tolerate near me as it is. One day, when I find the right person – if that person even exists for someone like me – then I may consider settling down to some degree but it sure as all bloody hell will not be with someone like you. Now, leave. Yeah, good, keep on walking.

• • Clara's voice and style of speech are modeled after Lightning's from Final Fantasy XIII. Samples of her voice can be heard here <here>.
• • Clara's name, though just barely, adheres to Monty Oum's naming conventions for fanmade characters with Clara meaning "Clear" or "Bright" and Reed meaning "Red" in Middle English. All together the name would read as "Clear Red" or "Bright Red" in some cases. Ironically after naming her, and upon researching auras, I also discovered that Clear Red also holds some symbolic meaning as well meaning "Energetic, Competitive, Sexual, and Passionate" which describes both Clara and her aura. It was certainly a pleasant surprised which further sealed the deal in regards to using the name.
• • Unlike Clara's name which has a direct color relation Maria's is a little bit different in that her entire name is a play on words that alludes to a colorful meaning. Maria itself, alone, can mean many things given that it’s a biblical name, though the meaning I like the most is "Star of the Sea" whereas 'Reed' means red. However, when put together they form a peculiar link that – when extrapolated on – can form the name 'Marisol' which in Spanish means "Sea and Sun" if you take the meaning of 'Reed' as symbolism for the sun. It’s a stretch of course but it's one that invokes the thought of warm sandy gold tones and soothing aquatic turquoise greens. Moreover, it still technically ascribes to Monty Oum's naming conventions for fanmade characters which is good enough in my book.
• • Clara drives a high powered flat black motorcycle that she bought with her inheritance after moving to Legion and will often disobey traffic laws on it when she needs to get somewhere in a rush. Otherwise, for trips further out, she will take the train or will fly there.
• • Clara must consume nutrient enriched supplements designed for those with full-body prosthetics in mind on a daily basis to maintain the health of her organic brain. These supplements are constructed of vitamins and other nutrients and mimic the look of food, and by extension the taste and texture to a very varying degree. Unlike the food natural Humans consume these supplements break down in her system when introduced to the ferroelectric membrane in her mouth so they are safe for her consumption. The food in question often comes in simple forms like protein bars, sandwiches, and juice or soft drink beverages and is safe for human consumption should there be any mix up.
• • Clara's prosthetic is powered by high-capacity power cells and is underpinned by a couple of other mediums – such as Solar Energy and backup Energy Dust Crystals – to keep those power cells consistently charged. That being the case, she rarely if ever has power shortage issues but they still do happen from time to time. It most often happens in the event her power cells are damaged or she neglects to charge herself physically via connecting to a power coupling every other month resulting in the power cells depleting. However, it should be said that she also makes it a point to keep up with charging herself as well as proper maintenance and, like anyone, protects her vital points while in battle including the area where her power cells are located. As such, powering herself and staying powered for lengthy periods of time without incident is almost a negligible issue for her unless she runs into unforeseen circumstances.

• • The Reed family shares their Emblem which, from what Maria relayed Clara when she was younger, has been passed down through the generations from one family member to the next being added onto and redesigned along the way. As such Clara's Emblem is slightly different from Maria's but still takes on many of the same elements thematically. That said, Clara's Emblem as depicted <here>, looks much like a flower with an extended pistil jutting up out of it. Its beauty and grace towards the bottom in the flowery design coming up to the chaotic pistil attachment at the top is in many ways indicative of Clara herself as some have put it. While beautiful it holds a chaotic power just waiting to be unleashed, or as it were, blossom in a sense. Whatever the case may or may not be though it certainly is an interesting spin in a long line of alterations and one that clearly holds meaning of a certain sort.
• • And finally, Clara is likely one of the most in-depth characters I've ever created. She has had several previous revisions in her lifetime which has allowed me to build on her and perfect her character as I've gone to a degree. Moreover, she is the longest character I've ever written with a grand total of nearly 20,000 words in her profile. Needless to say, I am incredibly proud of the accomplishment and would like to take the opportunity to thank those who have helped and will help in developing further.
