★ APPEARANCE
Theres nothing that immediately stands out about Lapis besides the blue theme that he has going for himself. His hair is quite a bit for many males, but to the general populace is considered quite short. It's shade of blue is darker than that of his eyes, but not by much while possessing a bit of shine to it, displaying that it is very well kept. The colors of his eyes easily reminds others of Sapphire gems which often possess a sincere feel to them. His skin is pasty white, though quite smooth without any actual scarring on it. On the middle on his back aligned with the Top part of his Thoracic Vertebrae immediately below the Cervical is a Blue Tattoo of 3 Crescent moons connected together, facing outwards in what appears to be a triangular formation with Circles in the midst of each of the crescent moons. Attire-wise, Lapis begins his day putting on two very thin plates that are connected by two straps which provides minimum protection outside of the Aura, putting it on like a shirt, followed by Boxers often possessing a blue theme to them. Following that is Navy Blue uniformal Pants and a white dress shirt. Ontop of the white dress shirt is a uniform shirt but completely unbuttoned. The final piece of wear is that of a headset often seen on his head due to him listening to music most of the time.

Dream of an Aquatic Serenade ( Birth - Age 6 )
Lapis Ophelia Lazuli, Son of Leira Lazuli and Darb Lancaster was born into a loving and hard working family late September within the Kingdom of Rift. At birth, the infant was diagnosed with Sickle Cell SC, but with the great deal of love and caring coming from the parents, the Trials and tribulations that the youth would encounter would be heavily mitigated. Nights of crying from pain during the crisis was met with one of the individuals tending to him with not only medication but songs that encompassed all the love that both Leira and Darb had. As years passed and the youth grew, odd instances started occuring that hinted that the youth was gifted with the treasure of the Lazuli Bloodline and therefore they branded him with a crest they believed protected those with the power of water.
First in Friendship, Love, and understanding ? ( Age 7 - Age 14 )
Taking him into tutelage, Leira revealed the knowledge revolving around the Family's Semblance to Lapis, how the individuals in her bloodline have been able to make water yield to them, utilizing it in combat and in everyday life. He was far too young for combat, so his mother taught him to master it by using it to aid in maintaining the household, as well as helping others with everyday chores. It's through this that he encountered the Violet haired potty mouth girl named Alexandria Laurel. She was equally as kind as she was a potty mouth, which was influence from her deceased father. If Lapis wasn't studying hard, helping his mother or helping another family with chores, he was out playing with Alex. He admired her gentle nature that came with courage, something he lacked a great deal at the time which was something that Alex loved about Lapis...his sincere and timid nature. The two eventually became almost inseparable, loathing the times when they needed return home. As time passed and they grew older and closer, Lapis gained further understanding of his Semblance, which hurled him into seeking an greater understanding of Chemistry revolving around water. This inspired Alex to go after what she wanted, which was to serve The Kingdom of Rift Royal Family, and involved her going out on her own into the dangers of the world to get stronger. Lapis couldn't accept this, and Alex didnt want to be separated from him so she convinced him to run away with her. While Lapis saw Alex as a best friend, Alex saw him as something more, and so it was like them setting off on the start of their new life together.
Acceptance ( Age 14 - Age 17 )
Completely oblivious to Alex feelings towards him, Lapis continued his studies while traveling with her, and as much strength as Alex had...she couldn't bring herself to reveal her feelings to him. This created many awkward moments for her, and often sad nights. She eventually convinced herself that it wasn't meant to be, accepting things the way they were. It wasn't long until Alex made it into Vytal Academy, one step closer to reaching her goal. All the while they both grew, Alex became a beautiful young woman, attracting the attention of the opposite sex. With accepting that it wasn't meant for her and Lapis, she made herself available and it wasn't too long before she was dating seriously. The time that Lapis and Alex spent together slowly decreased, enough to draw his attention from out of the books. With his attention now on the Hunter and Huntress in training, the blue haired boy began to yearn for the days of old. With training and time spent with her new boyfriend, the time between Lapis and Alex decreased even further. All this to serve the Royal Family...Lapis couldn't understand it one bit. He didn't have a very good impression on the idea of royalty, but to an even greater degree didn't understand why people would dedicate huge amounts of time in their life and in many cases their very life themselves just to serve them. While he didn't like Alex's boyfriend, he saw her main goal as the core of the issues.
Aquatic Lament ( Age 17 - Age 20 )
It wasn't too long before Alex began to notice the lack of time she spent with the one she truly cared about, but knew she couldn't stop with her own training so she decided to include him in her training. She helped him become better in combat situations and taught him what she learned from the Academy. Alex even went as far as to teach him how to utilize her weapons Fang and Claw, all to spend more time with him. A few more years passed and while Alex eclipsed Lapis in combat, they both could hold their own. Alex received a mission to scout an area recently attacked by Grimm, leaving early that very day. Many of the capable Hunters was not available so it had to be a solo mission which was completely fine for her...but not for Lapis. Alex did her best to ensure Lapis that she would be fine, and as much as Lapis did his best to take her word for it, he couldn't let her go alone. He followed after her, only to find her engaged in battle against a Grimm. What he didn't realize was that his late trail attracted the attention of other Grimms to the location, which created a dire Situation. Upon realizing the situation, Alex top priority became Lapis, and making sure he got out of her alive. She fought tooth and nail side by side, making sure no attacks reached him. They became overwhelmed with their Auras reaching near zero so Alex decided to grab Lapis and attempt an escape which led them to a cave. Things seemed Grimm, so she didn't want Lapis to continue this fight. For the first time ever, Alex kissed Lapis passionately, letting her feelings out into the air for no one but them two to know. It was a moment that lasted forever, and something that was long overdue. Before Lapis could recover from the blissful moment, he felt a sharp pain in the back of his neck before things went completely dark for him. Some time passed and the sound of thunder woke him up to the darkness of a cave with no Alex to be found. He rushed out into the fields through the now heavily raining area to where they initially was fighting the Grimms. There were many defeated, with Alex there against 1 remaining Grimm. There were wounds all over her which displayed that her Aura was gone, and the exhaustion showed was to an extreme. Lapis called out to her, causing her to take her attention off the Grimm for a moment to look at him with defeated eyes. The rain mixed in with the tears of Both Lapis and Alex as Alex mouthed some words to Lapis before the Grimm took one good swat at her. Her body remained in place, but it slowly dropped towards the ground onto her knees first before landing completely on its chest. There was a thudding noise as if something hit the ground and rolled some distance away, and in that instant Lapis world broke. His brain didn't know how to process what had just happened, but the shine was gone from his eyes and his nearly depleted Aura took on a more Grayish color. He grabbed onto both Fang and Claw before engaging the Grim that had just felled possibly the most important person in his life. The Grimm didn't stand a chance...
A Brand new day ( Age 21 - Present )
Lapis found it hard to do anything else following the Funeral. He just cried...and cried...and cried. This had to be some kind of cruel joke, but it wasn't. From that moment onwards, Lapis just spiraled downwards extremely hard, and eventually made the people that Alex fought for to be the enemies. He believed that it was because of her want to serve the Royals that the events turned out as they did. He swore to himself that he would tear down the Royals who he believed just sat back while others fought for them. He changed greatly in the coming year due to the event, having increased his skills as a fighter drastically, though since then he had not slain a couple of Grimms...but instead secretly disposed of humans and Faunus for a Price. His hand became sullied with blood when he was unable to direct his rage in the right direction. While only a few individuals in the world (Clients) Knew to a degree of his Criminal occupation, he for the most part was off the radar, not having failed to end a "Mark". He became selfish and cold thinking about only himself and getting day by day without completely shattering.

POSITIVE - Passionate *Hot* (Main Flaw) Often being mislead by his stoic expressions, Lapis can be really passionate about things and never really show it on his face. With showing it through his actions along with lack of social experiences, this becomes very problematic in many situations, appearing as going from 0-100 in an instant. An example of this would be someone "Messing around" acting like they're going to take his food away from him, being met with silence a few seconds prior only to find a fork jabbed into their hand. - Sincere (Past) There was a time when Lapis was really sincere with his actions and expression towards others. This possibly encompassed most of who he was back then, being who he truly was. - Protective Currently over what he considers his, Lapis would not hesitate to stand up for what he believes is either rightfully his, or what he deems is important. - Analytical An individual with a keen eye for detail, whether the detail itself is significant or insignificant to the situation at hand. - Reasonable It isn't too difficult to appeal to Lapis with a good argument. Due to the lack of social experiences or parental figures, his moral compass isn't too align with the rest of society, so something that would seem repulsive may not be so bad to Lapis if presented with reason that possess substance. | NEGATIVE - Cold (Main Flaw ) Often applified by his stoic expressions, Lapis come off as extremely cold not only in social encounters but in many of the decisions he make, whether its taking a life with no remorse or dismissing someone whose opening up to him. The major flaw of this being due to lack of social experiences, his judgement on when to be cold is completely unpredictable. - Selfish Put simply, he isn't one to share too much and Prioritizes himself above others. - Stoic The Mask of Lapis. 94% of the time Lapis appears as if he doesn't care about much in the world, his often stoic expression making it quite difficult to tell how he feels about something. Its very rare that he'll show how passionate he is on his face, and instead do it through his actions which in most cases throws people off completely. - Wrathful Hidden well through his Stoic mask, Lapis can become very passionate about something in what many would consider a wrong way, becoming almost relentless at the source that had made him wroth. While he hates the Royal Family, the hate has yet to reach this point. - Prideful Being taught by his deceased friend, he takes a great deal of Pride in not only his semblance but also himself. Not wanting to waste the talents unlocked by her, Lapis would outright deny fighting someone if their ability or self worth isn't worth his time...often meeting them with silence or an insult. |

Cry & Morn ( Initially Fang & Claw )
Cry and Morn, initially known as Fang and claw are two Blades made of Light Steel allowing for easy use, and though the steel are durable to some degree, its not recommended that it clash with other weapons for an extended period of time. Built into the Hilt are Dust Channelers which channels Dust crystals inserted into the empty sockets above them into the very blades themselves. Unlike other weapons used by many Hunters and Huntresses, these blades are only capable of utilizing certain Dusts of certain Elements without causing damage to the blades themselves...The safe elements being Fire, Ice, and Lightning.
Fire: The Blade becomes hot enough that when placed in a body of water just by the tip, the water begins to Boil in a matter of seconds
Ice: The Blade becomes Cold enough that when placed in a body of water just by the tip, the Temperature of the water begins to drop drastically in a matter of seconds, and when held in it, it'll eventually freeze.
Lightning: The Blade simply launches a bolt of electricity from it's tip, or leaves a trail little ways behind it when being swung.
MISC.
Almost akin to a utility belt, Lapis possess a belt that have little straps on them which is used to contain the dust Vials which he utilize with Cry & Morn. Around the right side are 8 Lightning Dust Vials, while on the left side are 6 Ice Dust Vials and 6 Fire Dust Vials. Hidden up in his sleeve strapped mid-arm is a Wheel of Piano Wire.
Lapis Aura when not influenced by the negative events of his past is a sapphire color that creates a soft sincere feeling, almost akin to a loving embrace by someone absolutely dear to another. To some it may even come off as something of a true benevolent nature...though this isn't the case. The Benevolent feel is there, but shrouded in what could be described as and Endless murky ocean, not evil but really uncomfortable. The color of it under this influence is more Grey than blue. Unlike many Hunters, Lapis Aura is directly tied into the use of his Semblance, and there for cannot simply utilize most of the abilities provided by ones Aura unless he's utilizing his Semblance.
Mending - When utilizing his semblance in Basics or Defensive form, through his Aura he's able to endow the water he's manipulating with revitalizing/healing Properties which can range from giving ones more strength to fight longer, relieving pain a little or even sealing wounds to an extent.

By Hydrogen being the more abundant Molecule in the Bond, He is able to manipulate the New Element being Water into Various forms to be used Offensively or Defensively. He can Manipulate Pre-existing Water which is preferred, but when lacking, he utilizes his Aura to create a source from the Air. While having such a high manipulation over the Element, He is unable to Manipulate water Associated with the Human Body, nor Produced by Dust (Or Aura/Semblance of another Water User). He can however Manipulate Water with other stuff in it if Hydrogen remains to be the Highest Element Composition. Through drawing the newly formed H2O Molecules closer together and arranging them in geometric patterns with long-range repeating orders, Lapis is capable of causing the water to take on a more Crystalline state (ICE), or go the opposite direction by separating the Water Molecules by large distances that do not interact significantly with one another to take on a more Gaseous State (STEAM). While in the Crystalline state, Lapis is unable to Manipulate it as he could when it was Amorphous (LIQUID), but is capable of converting it back into it's Amorphous State. Due to the state changes being from Lapis Manipulation of the Molecules and not from Heat or Cold, The Ice or Steam possess the temperature of the Water prior to state change (The Ice is not naturally Cold or Steam Hot).
