★ APPEARANCE
Standing well around 178cm, the boy is no pushover despite his young age. Though majority of his body is covered by the black clothing that reflects his name that was given to him by his parents, he has well-toned muscles which he'd gained through series of ruthless training regiment that he'd put himself through in order to become a Hunter himself. In his school, Raven is often characterized of having a short, dark brown hair and a pair of golden eyes which almost have a 'look of someone who'd come back from the dead' as whispered in the hallways by his teachers. However, the most prominant feature that one could notice upon meeting him for the first time is a long, jagged scar which run across his throat, which keeps him from speaking. As such, he often forces himself to carry a Scroll with him at all times to communicate with those around him.
His attire often changes depending on the weather - as well as the conditions. Though his usual attire consists of a short sleeved zip-up black shirt with crimson lines that run down on each of his shoulders. The pair of pants he wears is a rough denim dyed in black, and a pair of combat boots he wears has metal soles, but like any hunters - is weaponized with a pair of knives which can pop out by sliding the front of his soles backwards. The belt he wears around his waist has a pouch which more or less contain miniature dust canisters to recharge - and reload the Hellhound at emergency times should his weapon turn out empty in the midst of combat.
★ PERSONALITY
★ HISTORY
Born in a city of Legion, Raven lived a rather normal life as a child with his older sister, Jackie even if his family had a long legacy of being proud hunters and huntresses by tradition. However, living within the safety of the walls often his drew curiosity of what the outside was like. Beg as he might to his parents, they always told him that the Grimm were out there. They always told him that they were creatures without conscious, would mercilessly maim, and even kill any defenseless people upon their wake. Wanting to see and set his foot into the outside world, the boy aspired to be a hunter at a young age and enrolled into the Vytal academy as soon as he could even if his parents went against his decisions to do so.
Unlike many, however, Raven didn't have any particular talent to start off with. His overall academic and physical parameters came out all around average unlike his Jackie, but his ability to effectively hold his own in a fight considerably well gave him high enough scores from his tutors. Though he was a bit rough around the edges, he was noted as a strong fighter who was worth polishing. In time, he and his sister eventually graduated from the training and went off to forging weapons of their own. His parents, however, already had a design for the two in mind to suit their fighting style. His sister was given a blueprint of a multi-purpose long sword, suited for her style to power through the opponents.
Raven on the other hand was given a blueprint for pair of gauntlets: Hound and Hellhound. Though the majority of the materials were quite in abundance in Legion, certain metals, for the amplification device had to be found in the wilds where ruins of the old kingdoms laid waste in. For that, the boy had set off into the wild lands where it was teeming with Grimm. However, the he was not alone. With his parents accompanying him every step of the way, they taught him the ways to properly defend himself from incoming attacks, pointing out the faults in his stances, and how to close the breaches within his defensive guards. Though harsh, it was an enjoyable time for Raven.
However, on a particular night, the encampment that he'd set up was ambushed by a large group of Grimm. Though their numbers were many, Raven armed himself with a weapon, and engaged himself into a battle, ferociously defending himself in order to save himself. Without any real experience in a true life-or-death combat, Raven quickly found himself overwhelmed and was gravely wounded in midst of the fight. Unfortunately, his parents had stepped in a little too late, as they too, were occupied by the great number of Grimm that surrounded them. This resulted in the boy losing not only his arm, but also his ability to speak.
If it weren't for his mother's semblance putting him in a near suspended animation between life and death, Raven's life would've ended there. However, even to the experienced hunters such as them, the couple were overwhelmed by the Grimm's massive numbers. His father, however, managed to carry the boy off to a hospital before he too finally fell from the infection of his wounds.
After a year of careful and intricate procedures by the doctors, he finally came to - only to find that he was in a hospital bed, unable to speak. His sister was at his side, blaming him for the deaths of their family, spewing all of the pent up hatred and anger on him before she slapped him across the face. In turn, he too blamed himself for the deaths of his parents, but instead of letting his own despair derail him, Raven determined that he would never let something like this happen to him again - or anybody else. With his rage and hatred empowering him, the young man decided to get back up on his feet as soon as he could and continue down his fated path.
Though unable to speak and without a left arm that he could work with, his efforts to be a hunter himself didn't go unnoticed. It wasn't long before their aunt managed to catch the news of the deaths of their parents, and took the two under her wing as their legal guardian. By that time, his sister was already ahead of him by months. She had already developed her weapon, and was progressing rapidly.
Thanks to his aunt, and her connection within the kingdom of Legion, she put together a prosthetic arm for him. However, knowing that the prosthesis itself won't be enough to support him in combat, the young man took the blueprint of the 'Hellhound' and modified it considerably so that his arm itself would be the weapon that he long dreamed of, and later, created 'Hound'. With these two weapons, Raven reentered the academy with flying colors on his grades. Teachers were impressed, that despite his disabilities, he was capable of overcoming them - though, unlike before, he was much prone to anger even at slightest provocations from others since the day the only remaining family member grew to hate him. For that, he'd lost many friends, and without his ability to speak, the boy grew more and more isolated, longing to be with his older sister again, to be close to her and go back the times when they were a family.

★ COMBAT NOTES
WEAPONS
> Hellhound < The loss of his left arm never discouraged Raven from continuing to live his dream to become a hunter. For that, he'd gained an experimental prosthesis called: The Hellhound, a weapon made for those who'd lost his or her arm. Though it only appears no more than a prosthetic, the jetblack arm is made up of an experimental composite military-grade metal that's capable of withstanding forces that no normal materials could possibly take. As this is actually an arm made by a hunter, and for hunters exclusively, it is known to be extraordinarily durable in combat, allowing the wielder of this devastating weapon to dish out both devastating strikes and take them. Though it can be used as is, the arm is capable of entering more combat capable form with seemingly a flick of the wielder's wrist.
Once transformed, the weapon takes on a more terrifying appearance which hauntingly resembles an armored arm of a Barghest. It is complete with clawed fingers meant for an absolute evisceration of opponents, and spiked knuckles. The armored forearm which protrudes a wide number of armored plates acts as both vent to keep it from overheating - as well as a breach in order to load powdered mix of 'Fire' and 'Wind' dust canister if opened, and once a canister is loaded, the arm is capable of performing a wide number of features.
Of all the features, Raven commonly uses the 'Infernal Fist', which upon the impact of his fist, triggers the volatile red dust canister in order to release a belligerent explosion at opponent up close and personal from its knuckles. The size, and the number of explosion can be controlled at a flip of a switch. If the switch points towards the semi-automatic mode, the weapon releases a small singular explosion with each successful 'trigger'. While it is at its burst fire, the weapon releases series of multiple shotgun blast which is capable of knocking back numerous opponents in front of him for a good couple of meters. However, of all modes, the full-auto is the deadliest. With each 'trigger', the weapon releases a singular explosion much like its semi-automatic mode, but the explosions gets bigger and stronger with each successful strike, allowing Raven to take on much bigger targets or even go for an all-out overkill on a singular opponent whom enraged him so.
Even if it is a gauntlet-type weapon, it is obviously not without its infamous gun feature, which the Hellhound is relatively well-known for. The Hellhound is known to have three modes: Concussion, Bolter, and finally, the Flame Thrower.
The concussion shots can easily be fired by opening his hand, allowing him to fire a deadly ball of inferno roughly the size of a basketball which explodes upon impact from the barrel which protrudes from the palm of his hand. It usually fires steadily one at a time, and it doesn't stop until he closes the palm of his hand by balling his fingers up into a fist. However, there are different fire settings to this. As mentioned above, the weapon has three different settings: Semi-auto, Burst, and the Full-auto. At its burst fire, the weapon fires off steadily fires off five fireballs at once, but at a less accuracy in exchange for capability to hit more opponents. If unleashed at full auto, it fires off seemingly an endless blast of flames (50-60 fireballs before stopping), and the massive recoil often forces Raven to ground himself in place before even attempting to fire it, but the terrible backlash of it leaves the feature less than desirable, as it often causes a temporary malfunction until the arm cools down completely.
However, unlike its 'Concussion Shots', its nickname, 'Bolter' is a more of a melee add-on to the weapon than adding onto the gun aspect of the Hellhound. In order to access this feature, Raven pulls out a grip from the side of his prosthesis' forearm, and pulls it backwards before flipping it back in. Doing so loads mixes the 'Wind' cartridge with 'Fire' before the arm goes through another transformation to expose series of vents. These vents acts as propellants to allow him not only enhance the power of his strikes, but also allow him to speed across the battlefield at inhuman speeds. Due to the power and the velocity that the mode generates, Raven is unable to change the direction of his supposed 'landings', often forcing him to use this feature sparingly.
Finally, the flame thrower can be used from both long as well as close range, and it can be activated by turning his wrist and opening the palm of his hand, allowing Raven to spew fiery death upon any unsuspecting foes. The close-ranged flame thrower can be accessed by switching his weapon to semi-automatic and the long-ranged flame thrower can be accessed via switching his weapon to fully-automatic before activating this feature.
> Hound < The Hound is a weapon built to compliment its brother counterpart, Hellhound. Taking on a form of a simple bracer, the weapon can come off quite deceptive, but once transformed with a single flick of his wrist, the Hound surrounds the entire forearm - as well as his hand with series of armored plating that interlocks with one another in protective covering. The main feature that this particular weapon allows him to deliver the kind of strikes that could easily shatter and dent objects that no normal hunters could, and thanks to the purple dust cartridge, each hits from his strikes allows him to deliver extraordinarily powerful punches. In addition, thanks to the amplifier knuckle system that he had incorporated, each successful strike in a short period of time ensures him a much stronger strike than last.
However, what makes the Hound so special is its revolving feeder which is encased within its forearm. In it, contains a revolving chamber for dust bullets specifically meant for green crystals. To activate, Raven pulls the forearm plate back and exposes the revolver feed. With each punching motion, he can deliver devastating shockwaves directly into his opponents from up close or afar.
MISC.
Dust canisters [4x]: The Dual-Dust canisters that Raven carries with him into battle should the Hellhound run out of juice. In case that it does, he can reload it almost immediately.
Speed Loaders [4x]: Speed loaders which contain up to six green dust bullets per each set, allowing Raven to quickly reload Hound's revolving chamber quickly should it run out of bullets.
As a student, Raven's aura is far from being mastered, but once manifested, it takes a form of a electric currents aggressively which courses through his body. This reflects his short-tempered and bullheaded nature to never back down from a fight when presented with one. His aura specializes in offensive and mending abilities. At its offensive stage, he can use it to increase the velocity and power behind his punches and kicks. Activating this costs him 5 aura points. The mending ability allows him to heal his wounds in midst of battle and each mending costs him 3 aura points, and 5 aura points for more severe wounds.
Unlimited Blades
An inherited semblance which passed down through Clovis' family through several generations, often gifting the ability to their first born. It took on different names, as well as shapes depending on the user. For Raven's semblance, the ability revolves around making a wide variety of bladed weapons from his imagination to devastate his opponents in battle, and it has an odd crimson glow that sometimes resemble blood. It includes, but not limited to: Swords, Great Swords, Lances, Spears, Polearms, Scythes, and Battle Axes. However, like any works, the quality of his forging differs depending on the usage of his aura:
Uncharged (10 aura points): The uncharged weapons, unlike its charged versions only have basic shapes of a weapon, but often ending in an effect that Raven calls the: 'hollowed interior' which causes it to shatter and disappear after a single use. Though it can easily cut, wound his opponents much like any normal weapons and cleave through most low-to-mid grade military metal with relative ease, it does nowhere near as much damage compared to its fully-charged counterparts. However, this ability allows him to immediately follow up with different kind of attacks, and its cost-effective solution makes it most commonly used by Raven.
Full-Charge (20 aura points): Unlike its much weaker brother counterpart, the fully-charged works often take longer time to form, but it does twice the more damage which allows him to cut, and even pierce through high-grade military armor plates. In addition, it doesn't disappear after a single use, allowing him to prolong its usage in battle if needed, and immediately change its shape in accordance to the situation he finds himself in.
Overcharged (25 aura points): The Overcharged weapons are by far the deadliest. They take on a form of any other normal weapons that he may produce, but he often calls these the 'monster killers', because - well, they are made to absolutely destroy the kinds of things or objects that cannot be destroyed by normal means, or with his fists alone. Surprisingly, the overcharged weapons can be formed almost instantaneously because it stems from its uncharged version of his weapons, but since it's essentially overloaded with his aura, it is actually an unstable mass of solidified energy and causes tremendous explosion after a single use. As such, he usually limits them to throwing weapons like spears or javelins in order to use it from a long range over hand-held weapons such as swords or axes (though it can be done, it is unlikely for him to form any overcharged weapons to use it at such close proximity).
Depending on how much aura he puts into the overcharged weapons, the damage of the explosions can vary from being able to easily leveling a street car to being able to easily demolish heavily fortified buildings.
If needed, Raven can tap into the deepest part of his soul in order to further amplify the damage done by his semblance-made weapons far beyond its normal capabilities [20 points for activation]. The 'Enhancer' causes a massive burst of aura to exude from his body, and turn his hair white as long as this booster is in its active state. but it will continuously sap away at his aura the longer it remains active [10 points per minute].
