★ APPEARANCE
While Alburn is certainly not the most intimidating figures in Remnant, he is a man who gives off an air of stoicism, but one could see the fire of determination behind his dark eyes, never dying, challenging anybody who comes to him. The man stands up to six feet, has well-toned muscles through series of difficult physical training regiment that he'd put himself through. He has relatively short, messily disheveled hair with little cares as to how he styles it. The most protruding feature on his face is a large scar that runs down from right side of his forehead to towards the left bridge of his nose. He often calls it a reminder to: 'Never lose anything again'.
His usual day-to-day clothing, Alburn is usually seen in his black fur-lined coat, white shirt, a pair of simple pair of black trousers and a pair of black combat boots. In combat, he wears additional belts which allows him to carry emergency ammunition in battle in case he runs out of his speed loaders. While his attire may differ a little depending on the situation, but it's difficult to see him changed out of his usual outfit.
★ PERSONALITY
★ HISTORY
Alburn comes from a long line of police officers in a kingdom of Legion. His father, a police officer, his father's father also the same before him, as well as his great grandfather. They were the quiet guardians of the kingdom, keeping peace and the civilians safe when Hunters and Huntresses couldn't. He grew up seeing these good men and women in line of duty, and often idolized them more than the hunters, especially his father. His father, Gareth Redgrave was a relatively well-known sheriff among the force, but outside, he was a loving father, an average man who paid his taxes to his kingdom, went out for Sunday lunch with his family and loved by his next door neighbors for his hearty laughter and a sense of humor with a bottle of beer in his hand. However, as much as he was respected, the man also had many enemies that surrounded him.
It was only when Alburn was ten years old when a disaster struck in his everyday life. On his way back home from school, he found out that his father was gravely injured from the line of duty - supposedly shot by a mugger while trying to make arrests for attempting to rob a group of faunus family in the alley. The wounds, however, were fatal. Even the Legion's advanced medicines couldn't keep the inevitable death at bay, and the man died on his way to the hospital. The funeral services were held a few days later in his memory, and the boy, tender at the age of ten held the flag of his kingdom and the picture of his father in uniform in his arms. Since that day, he questioned why his father had to die like that, and who - this murderer was. If there was anything that resembled Gareth and his son, it was that once they had their fangs in something, they never let go - like lions would do to their prey.
The boy grew up with his mother, but unable to support the only son she had by herself, he was forced to live together with his single uncle. Even if he was far from home, away from once they once lived, Alburn always found himself visiting the place where his father was murdered and determined that he'd be the one to catch him. To do that, he knew he needed to be strong, and he entered the Vytal academy when he was able to do so. There, he met the physical requirements to be a 'hunter', but for him, being one of them was no more than a stepping stone for him. Even at such an early age, he excelled in many areas - especially combat. It was noted that he was easily capable of holding his own, even towards his seniors and the teachers, quite frankly, were impressed with what he could do.
However his behavior did cause quite a bit of problems on its own. Ever since his father's death, Alburn hadn't been the same, laughing boy that many of the kids in his neighborhood knew. As the years went by, he became withdrawn, wanting to spend more time alone than with the others, and because of this, his teammates often had hard time communicating with him. Especially when they tried to get him to participate in whatever group activities they had. Instead, he either studied - or trained by himself. The solitude did pay off on its own in the end. During his training session with one of the rival teammates, he'd awakened his semblance in midst of combat - though it took a little more 'force' to do so than others. The result: He managed to hospitalize a fellow student with a single strike of his weapon, shattering both of his opponent's arms arms as well as their weapons in the process from the sheer force of his swing alone.
By the time his graduated, he caught a letter saying that they caught the murderer who killed his father. Immediately, Alburn went to the court to see the hearing, but before that... he took his father's revolver, called the 'Sun', which was locked in a box in his father's stash. He took the revolver, seeing that it was fitting that the criminal's life ought to end by the end of his father's gun if the justice didn't bring down its hammer down on the guilty party, but the hammer was never brought down due to lack of evidence. The boy, now a man, seeing the murderer with his own eyes was furious. Even as the judge asked him if he had anything to say, Alburn said nothing, his jacket, being the only thing that hid the revolver that his father once used.
Use me, he could almost hear it say, Use me like how I'm supposed to be used. Let ME be the one to bring down the Hammer, and I'll finish the job way it's meant to be finished.
Instead, Alburn never brought out the gun, and simply left the court, knowing that his father wouldn't want things to be this way. Without a weapon - now a hunter, he looked at the large revolver in his hand and determined that the way his father had lived would be his. With it, he forged a new weapon of his called the 'Second Sun' using his father's revolver. With new weapon in his hands, he went into active service as a police officer, taking assignments directly from the force itself while battling the forces of darkness that threatened his home. A hunter, as well as a police officer. Though Gareth never liked hunters, he knew that his father would be proud of him for his choice. When Alburn hit the age of 24, he managed put the criminal who murdered his father behind bars for good, and started to walk in his footsteps as one of the silent guardians of the kingdom.

★ COMBAT NOTES
WEAPONS
> Second Sun < Second Sun is a weapon of queer nature that one would often ask: 'What is that?' when they first see it. It's quite solid in terms of its overall construction, but rather clunky and heavy as its appearance suggests. The weapon's appearance takes form of a revolver-style handgun without a barrel, instead it's replaced by a very large bowie-knife like blade as a form of a devastating close range weapon, which acts as a heavy-duty chopping and cleaving tool obviously meant power strikes rather than being used as a refined slashing weapon. The overall length from tip to its neck is three and a half feet in length with a deep etching of a lion-like creature at the both sides of the blade's flat. However, the most strange aspect of its overall choice of design is its revolver-style chamber located near the hilt, but at the same time, one could see that there has been some obvious thought process when it came to designing this particular weapon.
The Second Sun's revolving compartment contains up to six chambers, and with these six chambers, Alburn is capable of loading in six of his custom-made powdered dust bullets, which essentially 'fires off' dust directly into the blade. Using these said bullets, he can produce a wide variety of effects in order to react to different sorts of situations that he may find himself in. However, as they can be only used up to three times with each trigger pull (however their effects do last for a while [3 posts], but attempt to use different ammunition cancels out its current effect and replaces it with a new one), Alburn carries up to ten speed loaders in combat, and the following list are some the typical types of ammunition he uses:
MISC.
> Speed Loaders < They are typical speed loaders one would find from revolver users, but they hold six of Alburn's special Dust ammunition. He often carries ten in set per battle, varying in its combination.
> Cop Car < Alburn's main form of transportation, but this is no ordinary car that one would expect. Despite its build, it's capable of taking vehicle busting rounds and forces that no normal car can take. Its armored plates and bullet proof glass allow it for a great bullet resistance. In addition to this, it is armed with riot gas on the front and tasers for effective immobilization of targets. Its automatic targeting system allows for accurate marking of targets, keeping any friendly officers out of its line of fire. If a lethal force is required, then the front plate opens up to reveal a pair of high caliber machine guns, capable of firing red dust rounds at rapid rates.
> LPD Service Pistol < A mass-produced service pistol used by the Officers of the Legion Police Department. They are known to use .45 ACP rounds, and each magazine sustains up to 12 rounds each. However, what makes it so wide-used is its reliability in combat, allowing it to be used even in the toughest battle conditions. This often saved the lives of many officers in a fire fight, and it has been said that it's also equally effective against Grimm.
> Magazine holsters x4 < Magazines for LPD Service Pistol, each set holds a set of 12 bullets each.
> Handcuffs < Ordinary handcuffs used by LPD. Though it is by no means anything special, the yellow dust incoporated into its design shocks any suspects with high voltage who try to resist and get away. The level of voltage can be controlled before cuffing the subject.
Any of these features can be activated even if Alburn is out of the car by using his key chain. He is also capable of calling it to his locations if needed.
Alburn is brave, but stubborn, and his aura obviously reflects such personality in a form of sky blue color which radiates from his body like flames. It's quiet, and seems relatively small, but one could feel the male's ferocity, his willingness to never back down from a challenge that he's presented with, to continuously forge on no matter how harsh the winds blow in his direction. His aura specializes in both offensive enhancement as well as defensive. At its offensive stage, he can replace the empty revolver chambers with his aura, and with each successful trigger pull per attack, his weapon releases a volatile explosion to further damage his opponents beyond simple slash wounds. Each bullets cost him 1 aura points, resulting in 6 aura points should he choose to fill all the chambers with his aura made 'bullets'. The defensive properties allow him to form a tangible shield around his body to protect him from attacks, but the shield will cost him 10 aura points, and allows him to stand up to heavy attacks made by the Berghasts nigh unscathed. In addition to this, the experience in battlefield have left him learning the much needed 'Mending' ability, allowing him to heal his wounds for 3 aura points, and 5 aura points for heavier ones.
The Railgun
Alburn's semblance can simply be described as 'compression and release' of form of any 'potential' or 'active' energy by 'trapping' it. It is an odd power, and potentially, very destructive to the user if used without form of control. However, Alburn's training and years of experience has allowed him to hone the Semblance to a point that he can use it in extremely devastating offensive and defensive applications. He calls these abilities 'Barrels', and they vary in both levels as well as its abilities.
Main Barrel;; The Main Barrel allows him to compress the potential energy or currently active energy within his body and release it. When it's activated, the activity within the muscles in his body slows down significantly for the first few seconds, and the swings of his sword seem heavier - almost powerless. The way he runs, taxed and tired. However, when all the force that he's compressed in his body is released all at once, he can dart all over his opponent to a point that he leaves behind after images, allowing him to attack his opponent(s) at an absurd rate. He can also contain the kinetic force behind his attacks and release it in form of extremely powerful blows. This allows him to easily plow through and destroy objects that a normal being - or a hunter wouldn't be able to, to a point of leaving immense craters from the physical strikes alone. [20 aura points for strength and speed enhancement, 20 additional points to maintain to maintain it for more than five minutes.]
Secondary Barrel;; The Railgun's Secondary Barrel is used as counter-offensive purposes. At this stage, the area of control extends beyond up to 20 feet around him, allowing him to compress energy, such as wind - or any incoming objects and release it in a violent repulsion which results in devastating damage to his surroundings. The power varies in both stages and levels, from resulting in force of a simple punch to a powerful bomb shell which could easily level an armored tank. The amount of aura points that's spent on this ability differs depending on the level of power. [10 - 100 aura points depending on the level of its overall destructive capability]
Drawbacks;; Usage of 'The Railgun' is extremely taxing on Alburn's body, especially the 'Main Barrel' and further maintaining of its ability beyond than he normally should or overusage may result in tearing of his muscles as human bodies simply aren't built to exude that much force. As such, he forces himself to use it in short bursts than as prolonged form of assault on his opponents.

- Red;; The Red Dusts are the most common variety of ammunition that Alburn loads into his weapon. When he pulls the trigger, the blade heats up and produces flames as he attacks, allowing him to slice through harder materials that his weapon normally wouldn't be able to cut through, such as mid-grade military metal. However, cocking the hammer and then pulling the trigger allows him to fire to blast inferno from his weapon in a shotgun blast up to 25 feet to attack multitude of opponents and set them aflame.
- Yellow;; If Alburn knows that he's going to go for non-lethal takedowns, or is clearly going up against an opponent that's a machine in nature, then he uses Yellow Dust in battle. Pulling the trigger causes the blade to produce lightning running up and down the blade, allowing him to 'stun' his opponents limb for a short while (2 posts) - and even short circuit complex machinary (4 posts).
- Green;; Next to the Red Dust, the Green Dust is by far Alburn's favored bullet to use in combat. Pulling the trigger causes a violent gust to surround the overall blade like a minature cyclone. This allows him to swing his weapon much faster than he'd normally would, allowing for blindingly fast slashes and thrusts. Cocking the hammer and pulling the trigger, however, allows him to blast powerful wind from the blade, allowing him to send multitude of opponents flying within 25 feet in front of him. He can also use this to propel himself through the battlefield at inhuman speeds.
- Blue;; Ice, ice, baby. The Blue Dust is used by Alburn when he knows things needs to be broken. The Blue Dust allows him to slash 'shards' of ice at his opponents, allowing to pierce through thick armor and Grimm hides alike. If he cocks the hammer back and pulls the trigger, the blade becomes so cold that it's impossible for one to touch it without getting frozen. Using this ability, he can freeze the entirety of the area around him [20 feet AoE], imprisoning his opponent in cage ice from beneath their feet.
- Orange;; The Orange Dust for Alburn is more experimental if anything, but he has found it extraordinarily effective of its overall use in combat. Using this Dust, he can erect shields of light to defend himself from incoming attacks, but as these shields are stationary, they are best at providing him with a one-way cover. The shield usually breaks after four attacks, but he can cause a detonation towards the opposite side of those who are facing it by overloading the shield using Orange Dust, causing damage in a form of a shotgun blast up to 25 feet in front of him. If he cocks the hammer back and pulls the trigger, he can transcend the current form of his gunblade and extend its overall range of the blade's range up to 40 feet.
- Black;; Alburn never hesitates to fight dirty, and Black Dust is solely used to for a complete disarming of his opponents if they are overly reliant of their weapon. Once he pulls the trigger, he can manipulate the gravity around his opponent's weapon if they come in contact with his weapon. Each time that they do, the pull of the gravity becomes stronger, and stronger to a point that they'd no longer be able to wield it. If his opponent is physically damaged, or become contacted by Alburn's gunblade, then it is they who'll feel the devastating effects of the Black Dust.
